You said "a vein popped out on my vagina." I was taking this to mean "in" the vagina (since by definition, all of the vagina is "in" -- the external parts in that locale are the labia and the vulva). But if you meant "on the vulva" (like, you can see it just by looking and don't have to sit with a pocket mirror looking up and in), it occurred to me that men get something called a varicocele, which is a varicose vein in their scrotum.
I am now 33 weeks pregnant and getting more and more scared of the delivery as I have bad varicose veins on my right labia. I feel them when I blow my nose and I can't imagine pushing the baby out feeling the veins getting bigger as I push!!!! My GP recommended a C section, which I would love but it's not up to her. The obstetrician will decide.
How likely is it for the veins to burst while delivering? What about episiotomy? How can I make sure I can have a C section?
I have been on modified bed rest since early August due to varicose veins in my right leg and my labia/groin. They are thick, blue, raised, and incredibly painful. Try ice for 20 minutes on and off and nothing too tight for underwear. They do go down after delivery as this is also my third pregnancy and I had them with my second as well.good luck.
I have notice a few raised veins on the inside of my labia minora. No other symptoms recently, but during my daily self exam a few weeks back, I began to see a dark line on one side of the inner surface of my vulva just above the vagina. It is not tender, and does not burn or itch, but since yesterday, it has become a raised purple vein.
If the bump is flesh colored and over a vein, it can be just a varicose vein (especially if you have varicose veins on other places on your body). Age is not a factor, from teens to older adults can get varicose veins on the penis or scrotum (and other places).
These type of varicose veins can range in size with most the size of a BB or smaller (or bigger). Inspect it closely. If it seems to follow or be "on top" of a vein, this is probably what you have.
Have any of you experienced varicous veins in your vagina and/or labia? I noticed mine many many weeks ago, but the doctor varified what they were three weeks ago. It gets so sore throughout the day, its just terrible. I guess im just wonder if you guys have any tips for me besides putting my feet up......

My RMT pointed out a very unusual vein on my calf yesterday that I hadn’t noticed before. It’s not painful at all but scary looking. It’s about 8” long, varies in width from half an inch to 3/4 of an inch. The centre part of it is a deep red, and it’s is outlined in a dark purple-ish shade. It runs vertically up my calf, and then branches into a 2nd line. As far as I know, it doesn’t appear to be a varicose vein because there is no swelling or pain at all.

A few days ago i noticed a large vein on my penis shaft. I researched about it because my friend had varicose on his testicles so I thought you could get it on your penis shaft as well. I'm pretty sure from my research that you can get those but I haven't found any proof of it though, that's why I turned here. I also found on my research that it could me Mondors disease.

I ended up having a part of a varicose vein removed in March at least the bulging part. In my second pregnancy I developed a varicose vein on my labia which has since gone away but I am pretty sure that appears and gets worse with additional pregnancies. My biggest fear is death (pulmonary embolism) and not being here for my girls. Otherwise I am 110% ready for another baby. I did have my first miscarriage at 6 weeks this Jan. I thought I was invincible to that till then.
Varicose veins usually result from failures in valves in veins connecting the superficial veins to the deep system in your legs. This is a mechanical problem. No medicine can restore this function. Horse chestnut extracts have been studied and appear to decrease the swelling due to venous insufficiency but the appearance is unchanged.
If you already have varicose veins you may have some doubts about taking birth control pills. If your varicose veins are mild and are not a symptom of a more serious condition, your doctor may agree to prescribe a low-dose estrogen pill. I had an extremely serious case of varicose veins. On the inner sie of each ankle was a sack of blackish stagnant blood, a horror to look at. The skin was thinning and close to rupturing.
At some point I adding liquid trace minerals to my drinking water, with no purpose in mind other than adding to my general health. I put one tablespoon in each gallon of filtered water. I also added 16 drops of BioSil.
Note that when you have laser treatment it destroys the veins so the blood will go to other veins and the problem will most likely return.
