I had an extremely serious case of varicose veins. On the inner sie of each ankle was a sack of blackish stagnant blood, a horror to look at. The skin was thinning and close to rupturing. At some point I adding liquid trace minerals to my drinking water, with no purpose in mind other than adding to my general health. I put one tablespoon in each gallon of filtered water. I also added 16 drops of BioSil.

This year in May I stopped taking the birth control pills and a couple months later I noticed on my legs bulging varicose veins. The onset seemed to be quite sudden. Could the fact that I stopped taking the birth control pills caused the sudden onset of the varicose veins?

If your varicose veins are mild and are not a symptom of a more serious condition, your doctor may agree to prescribe a low-dose estrogen pill. The tingling fingers and feet sound like poor blood circulation which is also related to varicose veins I think. Hi, I am wondering why there isn't a varicose veins forum!? Where else might I post my varicose veins concerns? I posted in the Deep Vein Thrombosis forum but noticed it is rarely used. I'm not certain but isn't DVT a result of varicose veins? And if varicose veins are more common, with DVT being a side affect, then Why not change that forum to Varicose Veins? Regardless shouldn't there be a forum for varicose veins?

The only thing that seems to help is coffee twice sometimes three times a day. I hear that it restricts the veins while supplying blood flow. Is there any naturual herbs for her that would help veins. Also she has been on a rather healthy diet to lose weight and she always feels worse after she goes on a diet.
