Spider Veins are thin, threadlike veins, often red or blue in color and shaped like a spider’s web. Spider veins are similar to varicose veins, but much smaller and closer to your skin’s surface. Also like varicose veins, spider veins are connected to a larger venous system; however, they serve no essential part of it. Spider veins are simply broken capillaries or burst blood vessels with no biological purpose.
I occasionally still get headaches and it seems to be happening more frequently as of late. Does anyone use essential oils to help with headaches? Or just Rx meds? The only meds that really give me any relief make me sleepy. Since I teach, it makes taking meds before or during work hours impossible. Just exploring me options. Thanks in advance!

Hello, sorry about he delay in answering your question. Inner thigh pain and groin pain are common with varicose veins. Also, calf pain is included in that. Please see your doctor if you have not already. Let us know if you have seen them and what they have said.

The thing that makes it worse in I have suffered with varicose veins in my legs which I have had treated but they seem to be coming back very quickly and I’m sure the dilation of my leg veins is accelerating this. If I am calm and feeling good I get no pain in my legs and feet but if I’m worked up I get pains in the arch of my foot and inside of my ankle below the bone, I also get a sensation in my feet of having things in my shoe mildly pressing in to my foot.

Well I have pitting edema in my legs and a varicose in one, lots of spider veins..I have some major swelling and itching that's mostly at night...when I walk you can see the water move in my legs..the doc has given me water pills,and seems to do no good..I also get numb fingers,but I don't know if the two go hand in hand..I'm 28 years old...5'1 and 184 lbs I would love to walk and work out but my legs just don't have the strength..Please help..Thank You..

m noticing 2 new varicose veins and small purple looking veins throughout my penis. I also noticed minor discomfort and aching on the right side of my penis. The aches and discomfort have gone away but the veins are still there and prominent. I'm wondering if this is inflammation? I have a always had 1 varicose vein on my left side of my penis but the 2 other ones seem new and coily which I have never noticed before.
We found out that our ancestors also had trouble with there veins and we think it is genetic. We both have a restricting vein in our neck and legs. I started her antibiotics again hoping it will help and settle her inflammation which I believe is making her veins even worse. Age is not a factor, from teens to older adults can get varicose veins on the penis or scrotum (and other places).
These type of varicose veins can range in size with most the size of a BB or smaller (or bigger). Inspect it closely. If it seems to follow or be "on top" of a vein, this is probably what you have. There is usually little to no pain associated with these type of varicose veins (scrotum varicose veins can cause pain).
The doctor said that it's normal during pregnancy. It isn't varicose veins, it's just more blood flowing down there.

Varicose veins are caused by hormone changes, exposure to the sun, and injuries. Few predisposing factors for developing varicose veins are prolonged standing or sitting, chronic constipation, menstrual cycle, birth control pills/estrogen replacement therapy, obesity, sedentary lifestyle, pregnancy etc.It may not be possible to determine the exact cause of your symptoms without a detailed evaluation.
This pregnancy i have developed some varicose veins. I have one that is protruding on my left inner calf and is right on top of bad spider vein. It is tender to the touch and i can feel a little discomfort walking up and down stairs. Is this normal or could it actually be a blood clot? It is not warm to the touch just painful and tender.
