Avatar m tn These include horse chestnut, as mentioned, witch hazel, gota kola, and hot herbs which help circulation, such as cayenne. Varicose veins are caused by weakness in the vascular walls, and these herbs help strengthen them. Many companies make good formulas, including Herb Pharm and Nature's Way. Hey, Deep, stop pushing GNC. They're just not reliable, and you never know what's in their supplements.
Avatar m tn I have a problem with pvc's and have taken cayenne pepper capsules when they show up. They seem to work very well.
Avatar f tn That was last year and it feels like it’s back this time I feel it almost paralyzing and going directly for my veins in arms and legs. Tried baking soda, flea and dandruff shampoo, listerine, peroxide , apple cider vinegar , cayenne pepper (Burns like a B*tch) aloe Vera, and cloves but I want them gone. Is it an actual possibility to remove this completely or just subdue....? Would like to hear your thoughts.
Avatar m tn Hemorroids and varicose veins are related conditions. I suffered the latter. At their worst I had a sac of purple stagnant blood on each ankle, The skin was paper thin and on the verge of ulcerating. It was a horrible sight. It was quite by accident that I found a cure. At some point I added liquid trace minerals to my drinking water because I didn't want to be bothered with pills. I also added BioSil (a bioavailable for of silicon).
Avatar m tn The cayenne maybe suspect i took a dose of cayenne and 15 min later I was in the hospitol. With a crazy rythm. Cayenne is a blood pusher I would try elliminating that to see what happens. 36 is a bit low for heart rate.
Avatar m tn And one in particular said that a QUICK and IMMEDIATE fix is put a pinch of cayenne pepper and strain it many times in warm water...then perform an eye wash...Is this okay to do?? Or should I not do it?? This infection is annoying me and i need a quick fix...I've been doing the warm salt water and tea bags but if i can do a quick fix with cayenne pepper then why not? Please let me know! Also...I saw somewhere that colloid silver works too...Should i just try that???
Avatar f tn I take a cayenne pepper supplement for metabolism support, an acai+superfruit supplement, super b complex and a multivitamin. Is it safe to take all these together and does the cayenne pepper supplement help you lose weight?
Avatar f tn Hello, sorry about he delay in answering your question. Inner thigh pain and groin pain are common with varicose veins. Also, calf pain is included in that. Please see your doctor if you have not already. Let us know if you have seen them and what they have said. Here is an older question about this answered by a MedHelp doctor https://www.medhelp.org/posts/Blood-Disorders/Varicose-veins---inner-thigh-pain-/show/2027668 Here is some basic information on the condition as a whole.
Avatar m tn The thing that makes it worse in I have suffered with varicose veins in my legs which I have had treated but they seem to be coming back very quickly and I’m sure the dilation of my leg veins is accelerating this. If I am calm and feeling good I get no pain in my legs and feet but if I’m worked up I get pains in the arch of my foot and inside of my ankle below the bone, I also get a sensation in my feet of having things in my shoe mildly pressing in to my foot.
Avatar m tn Varicose veins usually result from failures in valves in veins connecting the superficial veins to the deep system in your legs. This is a mechanical problem. No medicine can restore this function. Horse chestnut extracts have been studied and appear to decrease the swelling due to venous insufficiency but the appearance is unchanged.
1138687 tn?1548643978 Hi, I am wondering why there isn't a varicose veins forum!? Where else might I post my varicose veins concerns? I posted in the Deep Vein Thrombosis forum but noticed it is rarely used. I'm not certain but isn't DVT a result of varicose veins? And if varicose veins are more common, with DVT being a side affect, then Why not change that forum to Varicose Veins? Regardless shouldn't there be a forum for varicose veins?
Avatar m tn My wife has a protruding vein on 1 leg which her doctor has informed her that it is not a medical problem. She has recently noticed more veins that protrude periodically. This is causing her distress so I'm looking for some things that we can do to help prevent more protruding veins and perhaps reduce the one that's protruding already.
Avatar n tn Horse chestnut is the best-known natural treatment for varicose veins. It helps prevent swelling and strengthens capillary and vein walls. The usual dose is 300 mg a day. Side effects are pretty rare, but if you start feeling itchy or nauseous, taper back your dose. Nature’s Way has a widely available, quality product I generally recommend. Grape seed extract also supports the walls of blood vessels. Take 150 to 300 mg in divided doses over the course of a day.
Avatar f tn This is totally gross but i go to a homeopathic doctor and he gave my mom this recipe like eleven years ago and she hasn't had to have antibiotics our anything since then, okay get half an onion and two garlic cloves a clump of ginger root and a horse radish root and some apple cider vinegar and a cayenne pepper (if you can't find a cayenne then use habanero) then blend it all up and wait for the pulp to settle then take a shot of the liquid, do it twice a day and you will be all better
Avatar n tn The best tip I can give you is cayenne pepper!!! Several people in my family have gotten off their meds thanks to cayenne pepper! It really works! Sprinkle it on everything you eat or like some do, drink a glass of warm water or tea with lemon, honey, and at least a teaspoon of cayenne. You'll get results. You can also google it's benefits! Good luck!
Avatar n tn Note that when you have laser treatment it destroys the veins so the blood will go to other veins and the problem will most likely return.
Avatar f tn We found out that our ancestors also had trouble with there veins and we think it is genetic. We both have a restricting vein in our neck and legs. I started her antibiotics again hoping it will help and settle her inflammation which I believe is making her veins even worse. The only thing that seems to help is coffee twice sometimes three times a day. I hear that it restricts the veins while supplying blood flow. Is there any naturual herbs for her that would help veins.

Avatar f tn Varicose veins are gnarled, enlarged veins. Any vein may become varicose, but the veins most commonly affected are those in your legs and feet. That's because standing and walking upright increases the pressure in the veins of your lower body. Sometimes varicose veins lead to more-serious problems. Varicose veins may also signal a higher risk of other circulatory problems. Treatment may involve self-care measures or procedures by your doctor to close or remove veins.
4619045 tn?1361132610 Alternatively, a pinch of cayenne pepper can be mixed with olive oil or other unscented facial cream and applied to the painful area. Both capsaicin and cayenne pepper may produce hypersensitivity of the skin and the affected nerve. Discontinue use if this occurs. People who bleed easily should avoid using cayenne pepper. Wellness to all of you!

11587059 tn?1427628263 The tingling fingers and feet sound like poor blood circulation which is also related to varicose veins I think. (Varicose veins are due to blood not pumping all the way through and backlogging/leaking back into the veins.) Bruised legs also circulatory, sounds like spider veins, which are related to varicose but don't stick out and they spread out more. Itching could be circulatory as well, or puppps or liver issues or allergies or sensitive skin.
Avatar n tn Age is not a factor, from teens to older adults can get varicose veins on the penis or scrotum (and other places). These type of varicose veins can range in size with most the size of a BB or smaller (or bigger). Inspect it closely. If it seems to follow or be "on top" of a vein, this is probably what you have. There is usually little to no pain associated with these type of varicose veins (scrotum varicose veins can cause pain).
