I feel like I am a survivor of this dreadful issue. I suffered from vaginal fissures for just over 5 years, although now am free and would like to share all the things I did to cure myself. Firstly, I cannot tell you how much money I spent going to my gp and specialists only to be told that "yes" they are there, no I did not have a STD; although no one could give me medician to cure it; only to take difulcan for 6 consective weeks...
I'm still looking for help on the cause of lacerations or vaginal fissures. My doctor suspects HPV, but it looks nothing like the pictures I've seen. Is there anything I can look into while I wait for my gyn appointment because it's months away? The only other symptoms are redness and irritation, but those come and go (tend to be present a week before my period). I've always used condoms when I've had sex.

On and off for about 8 months now i have been getting vaginal fissures... When they come they only last about a day tops. I came on here to see if anyone was having the same problems as me (tenderness around vaginal opening, redness, and a feeling of burning skin around the vaginal opening)... it sounded to me like i had a Yeast infection (mainly becasue it doesnt hurt to pee, and i have no rashes etc. ... just the symptoms listed above)...
Ok so I went to a new gyno recently and I explained to her that I was getting little sores around my vaginal opening. I have been with my boyfriend for over 2 years and a year ago I had my old gyno give me a blood test for everything and it was negative, but I asked him to test me for EVERYTHING and I would think that would include herpes.
A few days after sleeping with him I started experiencing vaginal and anal burning and itching and lots of discharge. In all, I have had 4 of these episodes in the past 2.5 months. I have seen several clinicians over this time period, some of them find yeast in my swab..others do not. Each time I am given a yeast pill, and while that pill worked for the first episode..the last three times it has taken me sometimes up to 10-14 days for my symptoms to go away.
I am very very worried and would love an answer! I have found 3 vaginal fissures in the past month and a half, they are located on my perineum and look like small papercuts they are not itchy, they are not surrounded in blisters or bumps of any sort and each fissure I had found healed within a day two days at the longest. The only reason i found them is because when i wiped I found a tiny spot of blood on the tissue and went down to find a small papercut.

I have vaginal and anal it hing from weeks, there r no rashes,bumps or pimples but it just itches...sometimes da itching increases.I went to da doctor he precribed lotricort....it worked but then after a few days da itching stated again ...I don't know da possible cause of it, kindly help, I just want to get rid of it forever :/ .....and I also drink very less water,is it bcz of dat? And I hav a bit of hormonal imbalance,does it has anything to do Vd da itching??....
I want to clarify that the 4 unprotected experiences (there were no other sexual experiences) were with different people around the time that i acquired the hpv infection. and since i was diagnosed with the hpv i havent had sex, a little over two years. and about a year and a half since no warts. i am a 22 year old female who has kind of a weak immune system i get sick often and it usually takes me a while to get healthy after being sick.
If your dad is a doctor, then he should understand that women sometimes get vaginal irritations and infections and must be seen by a doctor. Women have to go to the doctor for their yearly exams, too.
So I don't see what the problem is. If you have a vaginal irritation or infection, it needs to be treated appropriately. Unfortunately, no one here can tell you whats wrong. You need to go to the doctor.
I went to the doctor’s office and upon inspection the Doctor advised she did not feel that my rash was herpes and assured me it was nothing more than a simple rash and the two small fissures were likely caused by rigorous make up sex with my wife. She conducted a blood test which returned negative for HSV-2 (0.06) at 6 weeks, 2 days post exposure. The rash went away within two days without treatment and the fissures healed within the same time frame.
I have vaginal fissures where my clitoris and inner labia should meet. The skin on inner labia is peeling as I'm also chafing on my outer labia. I'm really distraught because it's unusual looking around the vaginal opening. Before me period I had cottage cheese like discharge and assuming it's an yeast infection. But I've never had one before however I doubt it's this serious. I'm really scared it's herpes, I had unprotected sex a month ago.
I do however have HSV1. There was initially no pain or itching associated with the fissures; however, on day two i felt a slight itching sensation which went away the following day.
* Also during week 6 my wife had her very first ever yeast infection with a single (approx 1 inch) linear cut along skin fold under vaginal opening. Healed after 4-5 days with yeast infection treatment. No itching; however, burned while wiping.
1) i have an anal fissure which bled in the morning during bowel movement. I did not have another bowel movement that day. At time of protected vaginal intercourse, i was on bottom and she on top. I wish to know the probability of hiv transmission if vaginal fluids came out of her vagina downwards towards my anus (as i don't know much about anal fissures as a means of transmission). Is it possible or likely?
I have been experiencing the same type of vaginal and anal fissures for a few months now and I was scared to death until I found this forum.Just like many of you, I went to the doctor about three weeks ago and the first thing she said also was Herpes.She took a blood test and a normal pap and I still haven't received any results yet.
She started by giving me oral sex without condom . I didnt have a strong erection but proceded with vaginal intercourse with condom. it was just a few minutes, after i ejaculated i noticed condom was almost half off. I have a patch of red eczema on the back of my penis shaft which was exposed.
Im sure some vaginal fluid got on there on some point. Its red, but there are no major fissures or cracks.
Im totally freaking out.
She did frotting against my rectum, I have several fissures that do bleed and hurt frequently. Before she tried to penetrate, I applied lube and pushed in, stupidly enough adding risk as I might had pushed precum inside my rectum. I also performed fellatio on her and she came outside my mouth initially but then continue with part of it in my mouth. About an hour before also did the stupid of flossing, and bled a lot from my gums.
