Avatar f tn Not only that I went to the hospital because of vaginal pain, itching, and oder. I dont have vaginal discharge tho.....They always say I have a bad urinary tract infection but now they are saying its a vaginal infection. I dont understand how i am getting UTI's so much and the vaginal infection is new. I have an aweful smell everytime after me and my fiance have sexual intercourse and when i douche it doesnt go away. No matter how clean i am down there.
Avatar f tn I also have extremely thick/creamy discharge every now and then. When I was the hospital for abscesses they told me that the extra discharge was from my body fighting off an infection. I had somewhat similar discharge a couple of weeks ago, but it didn't last so I pinned it on ovulation/my cycle. There is no pain/burning/itching without touching/stimulating. There is also no change in the appearance of my vagina, aka, bumps, sores, whatever.
Avatar f tn You don't list you age, or define the pain, is it muscle like or more like paper cuts? Any drainage (white, thick like cottage cheeze?)I will throw it out there to get some inexpensive KY jelly and use twice per day if this is a papercut type pain, this may be dryness. I don't go on line every day but would like to hear more from you.

Avatar n tn Hi, It might be a yeast infection; if this continues to cause you discomfort, or if any of the symptoms worsen, go get checked out by a doctor soon. Typically, a yeast infection will cause an itchy, burning sensation accompanied by irritation/pain and swelling in & around the vagina/vulva. Another sign can often be a thick or watery discharge, usually odorless. Your best bet would be to have it diagnosed by a doctor.
Avatar f tn t all come out right away, it would turn brown as it broke down and then could come out as a brown discharge. Likewise - if you masturbated by inserting something into your vagina, you could have irritated your cervix - the lower part of the uterus. This could cause this tissue to bleed, and again, some of this blood would pool in the vagina, and over the days some of that would turn brown before draining out.

Avatar f tn Hello, You may be having a yeast infection or vaginal candidiasis, which typically causes swelling, redness, and itchiness of the vaginal area. It also causes a curd-like vaginal discharge. There may also be skin involvement wherein the skin around the vaginal area also becomes infected and become red and have rashes. Try to avoid wearing tight underwear and pants. Wear cotton underwear as much as possible and maintain proper hygiene.

Avatar n tn But, we were hanging out a few days ago, and she mentioned a slight light pink discharge after she wiped after going to the bathroom, which was on the toilet paper. It is very minimal and as she claims, hard to even see sometimes, but it keeps continuing the last few days, without pain she says. This has never happened to her before, and I'm a little worried. If these two events are connected, what could this mean?
981930 tn?1259719703 Diagnosis is confirmed by cervical swabs and swab of the vaginal discharge. Till then keep the area dry, wear cotton clothes and don’t use any cosmetics or scented toiletries. A cream containing cortisone may also be used to relieve some of the irritation but use it after a gynecologist’s evaluation. I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing. Kind regards.
Avatar f tn Also, I have no itchiness whatsoever or burning or pain, just the redness and discharge. Is it possible to have candida without itchiness?
Avatar n tn Currently I am getting cramps when it is not my time of the month and either orangey discharge or white discharge (not gunky but definitely thicker than normal). There is a new urine smell, but it's not fishy. I've seen several GPs, and a gynaecologist. No help. My next option is a urologist, but I just wanted to see if anyone had any idea what's going on? Please any advice would be great!
3202361 tn?1345581214 I went to see my doctor and he has given me pills and this vagina jell that you insert into ur vagina and I think it has worked a little, but I am still getting a lot of discharge making my knickers very wet and it still smells a bit, but it's not so strong, but still smells and I want it to be sorted out as people can smell it at school and its embarrsing!! I don't get the discharge if I wearing loose clothing, only tight.
Avatar f tn And, it would make sense that there would be some bleeding and pain accompanying that tugging and pulling. Personally, I never use tampons for the reasons that you described. Try using sanity pads instead and, see if there's a difference. Now, as for the discharge... you say that it's green? When I hear that a discharge is yellowish, green or somehow off-color, I'm thinking... infection.
