Avatar f tn Is it normal to have pain in the vaginal area leading up to childbirth? I'm having pains today and I swear I almost couldn't even stand up to get off the couch. it hurt to put pressure on the area. I'm hoping this means my cervix is finally thinning out. Anyone else feel like this?
Avatar n tn They may be good doctors we cnt judge that. But naturally they dnt go through periods or childbirth to understand it. They know mentally but physically they dnt. That's like every woman that hasn't been through childbirth she will never understand the pain. But that's my personal opinion of course.

Avatar n tn The vaginal farting noise, typically referred to as a "queef" happens during sex when air gets trapped in the vagina. Although I've never heard of a complaint such as this after childbirth, the reason I can come up for this is that perhaps your vaginal canal expanded just enough to create enough room for air to be expelled during sex, making that sound.
Avatar f tn Does anyone have experience with being pregnant and having a vaginal delivery? I would like to have kids one day and I was curious as to how having herpes would impact that.
Avatar f tn U cant choose vaginal or c section they only do a c swction if something goes wrong only option u have is natural or water or epidural birth.
Avatar f tn I just had my first baby on the 1st of this month, it was a vaginal delivery and I did end up with stitches, now I am finding I'm very itchy down there.. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if it is normal, I have a doctors appointment later this week but I'm worried and hoping to find some relief before the end of the week because this is driving me nuts. Thanks so much!!
1155599 tn?1321890934 I'm a little over 30wks (1st baby) and my doctor hasn't really said much about childbirth classes. Basically, the office says "take them if you want, but no matter what the baby will come out". Well, I *thought* the classes were a little more than just getting the baby out!! I have other prego friends who aren't taking them (this isn't their 1st baby) and tell me that when it comes time to push you "will just know what to do"....I'm so confused now!!!
Avatar f tn It is not uncommon to have some vaginal loosing as you age. Also vaginal childbirth, heavy lifting, etc can contribute. The muscles of the vagina can be strengthened with exercises called Kegel's. If you still are not happy, surgery can be performed. This is called a vaginoplasty. You should pick your surgeon wisely however. J.
Avatar f tn You could get pregnant, but would likely be monitored very closely. I am not sure you could have a vaginal delivery though. I would consult your dr and really see what he/she says. Just to be safe.
Avatar f tn Does this cause problems can baby get it?? Can I have vaginal delivery? Does this make me high risk?
1666434 tn?1325262350 I was curious if there were any other natural redheads on here that get concerned with some of the myths that are surrounded with redheads and childbirth. Some say redheads have a high pain tolerance and others say they have a low pain tolerance. The other main myth is that redheads bleed more than any other hair color during birth. I am curious what others have heard and experienced first hand.
Avatar f tn m planning on having on all natural vaginal birth with only the typical pain relief thru an IV during contractions. So, I was wondering if any of you mommies who have went thru an all natural childbirth have any tips or advice that I may can use? I haven't gotten to take any childbirth classes, so any tips will be helpful. Thank you!
Avatar f tn t feel bad, child birth is a bit intimidating. I have had a vaginal childbirth (of course with epidural) and a C-section. I prefer the c-section. The only con was not being able to hold the baby right away and recovery from c-section in general. You have to take it easy for a couple of weeks. The vaginal birth wasn't too bad with the epidural, in fact epidural completely took away the pain.
Avatar f tn Hi everyone! I am 5 weeks postpartum. Vaginal birth. My husband and I were fooling around last night and he barely touched the outside of my vjay jay and the pain was awful. I did have some tearing on my inside vaginal wall but none on the outside. Is this normal?
Avatar f tn The normal position of a cervix is closed; the only time it opens is when it begins to dilate in preparation for childbirth. You mention "not having been in a relationship in a while" and are wondering if "this is reversible." By this context, it almost sounds like you are taking the comment about a closed cervix as being told you had a sealed vagina.
Avatar n tn Can all these things of happened from childbirth, or was I just blind to them before? Kegeling has helped, but I can still see my vaginal walls, and I am almost certain I could not before. I feel like everything has drooped down. Will this get better, with time or when I stop nursing? I am also having some pain/numbness/pressure on the left side of my vagina, which is in my buttocks, and legs sometimes.
Avatar n tn The hormones released in childbirth can last for years after the baby is born, and some of these hormones are linked to vaginal dryness. As for the vaginal tear, you should take it easy, and not be as rough. Use a lot of lubricant and be very gentle. A vaginal tear can take months to heal.
Avatar f tn I thought it was just some water from the dishes, but at the same time I felt like my water had broke. (1 child. vaginal.) I went to the bathroom to check what was going on and saw nothing. A few hours later I was walking to my bedroom from my living room and it happened again. This time I was able to see it. It was clear and had no scent. If anyone has any idea what might be going on please HELP.
Avatar f tn Childbirth is the reason most people have sphincteroplasties. Do you have to have one? I had one 2 years ago. Let me know if you need more info!

1900462 tn?1352775302 Because right now i cant even nest or take a childbirth class nothing and im thinking 30weeks is a good cutoff date to get out in time for baby? Please help.
Avatar f tn I'm not scared of childbirth as much as I am of being a mom for the first time. I know it's gona hurt, like that's a given lol. I wana try to go natural no pain meds, but I'm a baby when it comes to pain so idk how that will work. But our bodies are made for childbirth , if we couldn't handle it we wouldn't be able to have multiple children.
Avatar f tn I'm scared of childbirth. I am 37 weeks 4 days.I went to the doctors today and he said I'm 1 cm dialated and 75% effaced. This week or next the doctor thinks my baby girl will be here .
