Does Klonopin show up differently in a urine test than Xanax? I Know, it'll show as a benzo...but then it is sent to a lab, what happens then? Do they show up differently?
I have seen and read your answer to the previous question about receiving a false negative Xanax test. I, too, tested negative for Xanax even after taking 0.25mg 4-5 hours earlier on the day of testing. My prescription, though continually written incorrectly by this doctor, is for 0.25mg, 1, 3 times a day as needed but not everyday. That was what my original prescriber told me. Now my bottles simply say to take 3 times a day.
If i have a prescription for alprolozam and I take a xanax will it show up differently on a urine test? I realize Alprolozam is the generic version - other than being cheaper than xanax, what other differences are there. Xanax seems to help me relax as where Alprolozam just makes me tired. I have constant joint/muscle pain from Fibromyalgia. How come I can't get a doctor to prescribe me xanax, but they will prescribe alprolozam? Also, how do I get a doctor to prescribe Marinol?
4 Hydrocodone 10/500 mg 4x day, Xanax 1 mg 3x day and Soma 350 mg 3x day. I have failed my drug screen test 5 times ans all 5 times I loose that Dr. Please tell me if their could be a medical reason for it not showing up?
I'm so tired of having to find new Doctors when that happens and them looking at me like i'm miss using my medications.

Anyhow I go bi-monthly in December they gave me a urine test. The only things I took was my Methadone which they prescribe me and 3-4 days back took a 30mg roxy and a 1mg xanex which is not prescribed to me.
So took the oxy on Thursday & the Xanex on Friday or Saturday and my urine test at the pain management was the following Monday.

s like 70% of people taking urine tests have false negative results and once they fail a urine test a lot of pain management doctor will NOT keep them and it makes the patient scramble to find another pain doctor that will take them on. I'm worried about tree due to the fact that it is against the law to take anyone else's medication and I'm just not sure how long the medicine will stay in the system. It was really an unfortunate situation that he or she should not have done.
i have been told several stories concerning whether klonipin will give a positive result in a urine benzo test. i am going to be tested randomly and am taking klonipin, having switched from xanax, and was told that the klonipin would not show up in the test for benzos. i need medication for anxiety and am currently undergoing daily methadone maintanence and am not supposed to have benzos in my system.
My doctor has suddenly started asking for a urine test each month to prescribe my medicine. I have been taking this for years now and never been asked before. The medicine is xanax and is for the shakes i occasionally get with graves disease. Does anyone know if this is required by the state(Ohio) or federal govt? My bill for this test is $450 each this is monthly as doesn't make sense. Obviously this is more than the regular visit and my prescriptions.
I've struggled with methadone and xanax addiction for about 4 years. Most of this has been illegal use, but I am now attending my third methadone clinic. I don't have a prescription for the xanax, so I have to get off it. The clinic reduces my methadone dose 5mgs every 2 weeks if I keep testing dirty for benzos. I was taking 2 bars a day but have tapered down to half a bar the past few days, which is 1 mg.
Thinking it was some sudden onset of dementia we went to a doctor and she passed all the test that someone with that would fail..Also had head scans, urine tests, ect. t do anything weird for me it actually works, im not a pill popper im afraid of most meds, she wants me back in 3 weeks and she gonna do a urine test on me . will the Prozac show up in the urine if I decide not to take it. it gonna take me a while to get up enough courage to take it , and she wants me to bring my bottles with me too.
I have absolutely no idea how that is possible as I take as directed. She had the lab run a more extensive test on the urine and not even a trace amount was shown. I was rushed that day and missed my morning dose and there is a possibility I didn't take my dose the night before as the Xanax was starting to become ineffective and as I've done over the years, my Xanax is changed out for Lorazepam and visa-versa.
If your p-doc is looking to put you on a LONG TERM antianxiety medication, if he is a good doctor, he would definitely choose Klonopin over Xanax. Xanax is meant for short term use, (<4 months) or on a strictly PRN (as needed) basis. (NOT daily)
This is totally a guess on my part, but I would think that Klonopin and Xanax would show up on a UA as "benzos," a "class" of drug.
I have had frequent urinations and my docotor gave me a blood test which my BUN was 8.o and my urine was 300 with 1+ blood in my urine. My lower back hurts mildy but since he put me on cipro 250mg eery twelve hours x 10 days the pain have subsided. Could this mean I have something wrong with my kidney's such as kidney failure. The doctor said it was a kidney and bladder infection. What do you think. I am on synthroid 112 daily for hyperthroidism.
