After watching my trips to bathroom and water drinking she asked me to do the urine test and sure enough it was positive. I was only 22 at that time and under the belief that this was disease of the old and or the middle aged ! As has been mentioned before, in early stages , you may not have overt symptoms like I did.

Some clinics test every patient at every visit. Others test a selection of patients, some do not test regularly at all. I was with one clinic for 5 years, the first 3 years they didn't test at all, then it seemed like every 3rd visit they tested with a lab that they sent the samples to. That Dr closed up shop and my current clinic seems to test every 3rd visit using some type of dip-stick method done in office.

I know this is gross, but you could always smell it and see if it smells like urine. But, when in doubt... always get it checked. I had preterm labor at 29 weeks pregnant and never would have suspected. Also, when my water finally did break at 38 weeks it was such a small trickle it didn't even test positive for amniotic fluid. I went back the next day feeling terrible so they tested the fluid again and sure enough it was my bag of waters with a very slow leak.

Would the doctor be able to know if my water broke?

Hi. Please help me. Wat does water break feel like. Im passing water or urine in drips. Its making my panty wet. I am not able to control it. I have no pains. Im 37 weeks today. Could this be my water breaking?

if you think your water is broken and go to the hospital, they actually test to is if your water, they have a stick or a test strip they use, if it changes color, it was your water. if it doesnt change colors it was urine or something else.

I think they have test strips at most pharmacies to see if it's urine or amniotic fluid. Also if it has a smell and/or colour it is likely urine. If you sit on the toilet and can't control the flow, it's likely amniotic fluid and you should go in right away.

t catch if you are pregnant or not I recommend going to the doctors for the test they will do a pee test but after the pee test you ask to take a blood test which is way more accurate and can tell you about how fat along you are

it instantly showed a positive result. I guess the water made the urine go on into the test. Anyway my question is could I really be pregnant? I mean the HCG hormone has to be there for it to show positive, right? The water alone wouldn't have made it positive. Please help me asap!!!

They picked up the adderall and klonopin. I almost insisted on a blood test but at the last minute I did the urine test. What do I do now? I'll never convince my doctor without some kind of proof, but where do I get th proof?

She said if you feel like it your water leaking go (or call first) to labor and delivery. They can do a sertain test to see. Best be safe right? Best of luck to you. My case my water wasn't leaking. But I didn't fill up panty liners either :) hope this helps.

Wow that really worries me :/ they didn't test my uterus until 4 or 5 hours after my water had broken either so I don't know what to think. They sent me home and now I guess I just wait :( yeah the lady said that under the microscope amniotic fluid would look like ferns and it didn't so that's what they are going by.

week ago I have taken for at home pregnancy test and they were all positive the doctor also gave me a urine test Athat was positive now I decided to take another one and its positive but the second line is very light what could this be.

i know that's the difference between foamy urine and bubble because when I drink lots of water, I don't see the foamy urine. I have the same thing. My first urine test came back with some kind of bacterial infection, but I took antibiotics and it's still occasionally cloudy so I don't think they're related.
