You likely had an evap line on your first test. That's why they say to discard a pregnancy test after so many minutes because an evap line can appear and look positive when it's not. The digitals are a lot more accurate, and if it's saying "not pregnant" then you're likely either too early to test or not pregnant at all.

sometimes your first urine isnt too helpful...ive never had a postive pregnancy test from my first urine...it was always later in the day....

It could be urine or it could be fluid. Go to walmart and pick up some ph test strips from the fishie section! U should be able to test it that way! Urine is acidic whereas amniotic fluid is not!

I took a equate (Walmart) test and got a positive (2 dark blue line) result. A few hours later I took an ept digital test and got a not pregnant result. Which one is more accurate? However, I would encourage you to retest with a pink dye test and try to hold your urine for a long as possible. The test you have I think is a walmart test (not 100% sure though) and tests like the one you have posted are well known for evap lines and false positives. Make sure it also comes up within the proper time frame instructed on the box--usually 3 minutes, max of 10. Good luck to you, and I hope you get the results you're hoping for.

I tried at 5 days late and it said not pregnant so I got a couple cheap non-digital ones from walmart and took those the next day and they said positive both of them without using morning urine. So the next week I took a clear blue to see if it could tell me approx. how far along I was and it said 5 wks plus, so for me it didn't pick it up until I was quite far along.

Go to the emergency room of your local hospital, they'll take a urine sample & do a blood test.. Thats how i found out i was pregnant.

Just go buy one at the store...nothing is going to tell you for sure, Pregnancy tests measure the amount of HCG in your urine. I got mine at my local dollar store for $1.50. They work just as well (if not better) than big name expensive tests.

Also pregnancy can cause dark urine because of dehydration. I went most of both of my pregnancies with dark urine cuz of dehydration even though I was drinking plenty of water. Hubby n I have used spit before because we ran outta lube, and it's never effected me. But remember that the mouth is one of the most dirty areas on your body. LOADS of bacteria in there. And if he's sick, that makes it even worse. I would avoide using spit ESPECIALLY while y'all are both sick.

cvs pregnancy test work well. Walmart equate test work well. I always tinkled in a cup because I never liked the thought of putting my hand down there while I went p bit I'm weird lol. That and when you go in a cup it allows you to do more than one test at a time. Try to use first morning because they hormones are stronger. Good luck I hope you are!

if yu dont want to spend more money i would suggest the 88¢ test from walmart...that way you can test more often and see if the line darkens...or head straight to the local clinic...but there is no such thing as a false positive... Good luck!!

I fasted 8 hours and then went to the clinic to get blood tested for diabetes...first the pricked my finger and then my blood sugar showed 97...then urine test was good didn't find sugar in my urine...then drown blood to take to the lab...

they always told me to wait at least 10 days from your missed period because it could be to early to tell. of you're worried go to Walmart buy the prenatal vitamins and take them for a few weeks they won't hurt you, as a matter of fact the help your hair an nails grow better. well i was supposed to test this morning early morning urine is when they say to test because of the high hgc levels but i was so anxious and on the phone with my friend who was bugging the ever loving **** out of me to go to walmart for a hpt so i DID and took it immediately at around midnight i got a very very faint line out of the first and nada out of the second. i know i was hasty and should have waited for the second till today.
