Avatar f tn Urobilinogen in urine can be a sign of liver disease such as cirrhosis or hepatitis as well as hemolytic disease. Your results are within the normal range. Normal values for pH is 5-7 while urobilinogen is less than 17 Umol/L. However, these values differ from one laboratory to another. It is best that you discuss the results with your doctor for proper evaluation. Take care and regards.

Avatar n tn Can someone help me understand how/if these test results are out of the normal range, and if, so, how concerned I should be. I see the doctor in a couple of weeks. Protein UR (mg/dl) 641 Creat UR (mg/dl) 268.9 Protein/Creatinine Ratio 2.4 I guess there are no "ranges" for this test as none are listed. The other tests seem to be w/i normal range.
330478 tn?1278284916 Hello, I just received some test results back and was wondering if you could elaborate on what they mean exactly. I am 19 year old female and I urinate approximately every hour and a half to two hours. I had a 24 hour urine collection done and these are the results: URINE COLLECTION: Volume 24h: 2000 Creatinine 24h U: 14.3 BLOODWORK: Renin: 0.

Avatar f tn I have low caclium, mine is 8.3 range 8.5-10.5 and my PTH is 89 range 17-73. I also had a 24 hr. urine calcium done and it was normal. My kidney function is normal too. I also have Graves Disease too, and I am HYPOthyroid now, but still on Anti-thyroid medicine! I am waiting to see a third Endo Dr. Which hopefully I get in soon! I am so frustrated, I am tired of feeling so fatigued every single day. Other than that I feel o.k.
1327431 tn?1327072104 They should give you the range for FT4 when you call for test results. You need to know the position in the range, not just the result. If possible, always get a copy of the lab report and write on there how you were feeling and your med dosage at the time. These become very valuable for future reference. Also, I would lean on them hard to do the FT3 test. Explain that you are aware of the possibility of inadequate conversion of T4 to T3 and want to make sure of your FT3 level.
Avatar m tn Based from your post, test results were within the reference range. However, it is best that you discuss the results with your attending physician also for proper evaluation. Factors such as your medical history, symptoms present, physical examination result, and overall health are important considerations. Take care and do keep us posted.
Avatar f tn It was a Urine Albumin Creatinine Ratio Test (UACR Test) The lab didn't gave the range for Albumin and creatinine. The range was only for the ratio that is <30 mg/g. I'm panicking because my urine is still foamy and on various they said it's associated with kidney issues. Should I do a GFR Test?
Avatar m tn GLUC fasting: 5.18 mmol/L, normal range ( 4.11 - 5.89 ) GLUC after 2 hours: 6.32 mmol/L, normal range ( < 6.6 ) So my question is: Are GLUC results and normal blood indicators strong enough reasons to exclude diabetes and say that I have no diabetes at all, or not? P.S. I started the analysis mostly for endocrinological disease, appears I have high TSH(4.76, normal 0.4 - 3.77) and FT4(21.71, normal 12.87 - 20.6) I can provide more details from analysis if necessary. Any help appreciated.
Avatar f tn You are still in the normal range. The Uro part of the test is checking your liver. The 2+ number does indicate something going on you need to talk to your doctor about. It's possibly indicative of hemolytic anemia. Potentially a sign of liver disease. Normal range is 0.1 to 1.8 mg/dL (1.7 to 30 µmol/L), So you are just out of range. *** I am NOT diagnosing you. I"m just telling you to have a discussion with your doctor. Here is information on hemolytic anemia. https://my.
Avatar f tn The urine test is normal. However, one urine test is not diagnostic for most doctors - aka good doctors. The dex test shows suppression. For an expert, it can show either normal or that if you showed issues, it would be pituitary location. It is rather odd that you took 1.0 dex - most take the low dose dex test which is .5 to start. The lab reference does apply for this test since you took the dex. You are testing for Cushing's?
Avatar f tn I believe the normal range is anything under 5. The scale is 1-10. Anything under 5 is within in normal range. Mine was at 7.4 before surgery. Doctor's usually use this just as a point of reference because so many other things can cause an elevated result. Very similar to the CA-125 test that way. Hope this helps...not a doctor just remember how hard I tried to find answers to the same question!
Avatar m tn Oh sorry, this part was the urine test, I have it annotated by him on the results as being fine but I still am a typical hypochondriac.
Avatar f tn 6 below clinical reportable range. In July he said first test was incomplete but looked normal but ordered again all other parts of both test are normal. husband is very anxious. I also asked about his anaphylaxis to wheat that came on when he was 56. It happened four times before we found the cause. He said that was strange. other problems he found was hypothyroidism and low free testosterone. Other testosterone good. Plus he has high cholesterol which is not lowering with meds.
Avatar f tn the creatinine urine was 48.6 (no range was provided) and the urine rate was 1.6 (range 0.8 to 1.8). when i took the information and put it into a creatinine clearance calculator it shows 121ml/min. so i am worried about a few things: 1) high creatinine clearance rate 2) GFR at 71 (shows kidney damage??) 3) my tsh went from 1.54 to 3.3 in one week and my endo is just concerned with the cortisol 4) i still have high tpo antibodies.
Avatar n tn Is there usually a difference in the test results from blood drawn from the arm and blood drawn from the finger tip? I heard that the fingertip blood can test higher than blood drawn from the arm and I wondered if that is usually the case.
Avatar f tn Free T3 - 4.41 pmol/l (normal range 4.00 to 8.30) Free T4 - 9.02 pmol/l (normal range 9.00 to 20.00) TSH (ultra-sensitive) - 0.86 (normal is 0.25 to 5.00). (My Prolactin is also 6.9 when the norm is 3 to 25. Cortisol is 139.8 (norm 55 to 287). I have not yet been back to see the doctor because I wanted to be as well prepared as possible. She has also given me the chance to have a thyroid scan - do you think this is necessary given the results? Any benefit?
5143317 tn?1383747820 Your doc *may* dismiss you on the normal urine test. BTW the dex test does not follow the normal range listed on the lab - it has its own range and that is 1.8 so you actually passed that one. It is actually more suspect for adrenal source. A good doctor would look at the symptoms and overall pic, and keep testing. Few of those are around so it may be Cushing's, or it can be a disease that mimics it like low growth hormone, or other hormone issue, or cyclical Cushing's.
