330478 tn?1278284916 Hello, I just received some test results back and was wondering if you could elaborate on what they mean exactly. I am 19 year old female and I urinate approximately every hour and a half to two hours. I had a 24 hour urine collection done and these are the results: URINE COLLECTION: Volume 24h: 2000 Creatinine 24h U: 14.3 BLOODWORK: Renin: 0.
Avatar f tn Urobilinogen in urine can be a sign of liver disease such as cirrhosis or hepatitis as well as hemolytic disease. Your results are within the normal range. Normal values for pH is 5-7 while urobilinogen is less than 17 Umol/L. However, these values differ from one laboratory to another. It is best that you discuss the results with your doctor for proper evaluation. Take care and regards.

Avatar f tn I was then told that my urine specific gravity was high (above what they could test for) and I had elevated bilirubin in my urine and when I asked about the bilirubin was told that my liver was probably stressed by my dehydration (as indicated by the specific gravity and urine color).
Avatar m tn Good Day Doc, I had a protected sex encounter with a sex worker about 3 weeks ago. At the third day of my exposure, i did an Urine Culture Test for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. Test result is negative. However, these few days i am having some weird tickling feeling on my penis. Sometimes, i can feel some sharp tickling at the tip of my penis, especially when i am walking. But, I do not feel any pain during my urination. My questions are: - Is the urine test on the 3rd day conclusive?
Avatar n tn I need some help with some test results. I know I have protein in the urine; however, tests were completed that I haven't had done before so I don't have anything to compare them too. Can someone help me understand how/if these test results are out of the normal range, and if, so, how concerned I should be. I see the doctor in a couple of weeks. Protein UR (mg/dl) 641 Creat UR (mg/dl) 268.9 Protein/Creatinine Ratio 2.
Avatar n tn IN my CMP(14) My bilirubin, total was 1.4 mg/dl normal range 0.0 - 1.2 why is it in my urine test the bilirubin is negative? But my UA/M WITH REFLEX CULTURE,ROUTINE bilirubin negative range negative. I tested negative for hiv and my LIPASE,SERUM was normal range.
Avatar n tn Is there usually a difference in the test results from blood drawn from the arm and blood drawn from the finger tip? I heard that the fingertip blood can test higher than blood drawn from the arm and I wondered if that is usually the case.
Avatar n tn You only need to do the hiv test which is done through a blood test, also a herpes test which is also done through a blood test.
Avatar f tn My urine test results show leukocyte esterase 2+ wbc 21-50/HPF RBC 3-5/HPF epithelial cells few bacteria 1+ also 50-100.000 CFU/ML mixed urogenital flora.
Avatar m tn Around two months ago I started seeing a nephrologist to see if the blood is coming from the kidneys, and around the same time my UA test started showing protein in my urine. Bellow are the results of my last UA and a 24hr urine protein. With this results, Is the protein in my urine secondary to the gross hematuria or am I having protein in my urine because some how my kidneys are not working right??? Any help will be really appreciated.
Avatar f tn the herpes igm test is a greatly flawed test and we never recommend it being used on adults. A + igm is meaningless. at this point , unless you get symptoms that can be cultured, nothing you can do but repeat the herpes igg blood test 3 or 4 months post encounter. did you also have an igg herpes test done too?
Avatar f tn My Vitamin D from this last blood test was 60 (normal for the first time ever!!), my calcium was 9.6 mg/dl and my PTH was 14pg/ml, my creatinine was .6 mg/dl. My doctor said all of this was in the normal range. It seemed a little weird to me that my PTH was so low (normal was 7-80) and my creatinine was the lowest possible normal number. I just want to know if this is right that this is normal.. Thanks!!
Avatar f tn I am new here and I was hoping that someone would be able to shed some light on my most recent test results. Here is a little background. I am 31, female, and in poor health. I have Lyme, Bartonella, Babesiosis, RA, and a list of other health conditions. I was hospitalized in January for an infected port a cath (pseudomonas) which turned into sepsis. I picked up VRE while in the hospital which was treated with 14 days of IV Zyvox.
Avatar f tn Hi - this is a two part question. 1. In July, I had a ThinPrep pap test as part of my first prenatal appointment. A "Chlamydia, Nuc. Acid Amp" test was performed and it tested positive. I have been married for 11 years with no other partners and have never tested positive (this is my third child), so I asked for a retest. The next day I took a urine test - "Chlamydia trachomatis, NAA" and it came out negative.
Avatar f tn gon tests were urine tests both times. The first time was the NAA test and the second time was the RNA/TMA test. Nit sure what the difference is? Also had complete urianlysis done on 8/11 and everything was normal. No WBC. Fast forward another month and a half. Another full panel test and urinalysis on 9/28 all negative. The WBC did come back at 0-5 but that was listed as the reference range so it wasn't flagged as abnormal.
Avatar f tn All normal blood results including urine but WBC urine 6-10 and squamous epithelial is 10-20. I am 30 years old and worried.
