Hi, I used an ovulation testing kit this month. The best way to do this is to pee in the cup then hold the strip in the cup for 10-15 secs (thats wat i did). On CD12 i tested, got a control line but no test line. on CD15 i tested & got both the Control line & test line, and my test line was darker than my control. The test line HAS to be darker than the control line to be a positive for ovulation. If it is fainter than the control line, then its not a positive for ovulation.

My advice is to purchase your own urine test kit from any major pharmacy, leave it unopened, and if this happens, you have a chance to prove that the proper drugs are in your system (make sure the kit you buy tests for what you are taking, as some testing kits are different than others). Also if your blood sugar is high enough to spill over into urine you can use clinistix to void on and it will tell you if there is sugar in your urine,,,,,,,,and it should not be there. Just by the urine test sticks; the fancy computer that costs $$$ is not necessary. The reason this is better is that you are at peak fertility the day of and the day after your urine first turns positive.

Also there are home drug testing kits that you can buy at a pharmacy, I've seen them for like when parents want to test their kids. Tested with 6 different brands of home pregnancy kits. Dates of test are 28 june ,3rd,5th,7th,15th,17thjuly (morining first urine samples). All 6 results were neagtive. Having abdominal cramps from last 3-4 days. Am i pregnant ? Or is there some other problem ? Please help.
