1600188 tn?1329859845 I have had some blood work and urine test done and this is the result for the Urine test: Urine Immunofixation electrophoresis reveals a faint band that appears to type as IGG with no detectable corresponding light chain. Clinical correlation recommended for interpretation. What does this mean and what is IGG?
Avatar f tn In early pregnancy, you never want to dilute your urine and take a test. If the test came up positive, then it's positive. You're supposed to always test with first morning urine before you drink anything for the most accurate results. If you still doubt it, retest first thing in the morning, or make a doctors appointment and request blood work.
Avatar m tn Only other abnormal labs were elevated anion gap 21 when limit is 0-16, 1+ hemolysis, glucose 114 when range is 74-106 (I am not diabetic), serum albumin 5.4 range is 3.5-5.2, urine protein 30 mg/dL, and urine ketones 60 mg/dL. 1. The diagnosis on the one I had first says: sinus tachycardia, rightward axis, T wave abnormality (consider inferior ischemia), abnormal ecg.
Avatar n tn I have never heard of a urine test positive for heroin. Heroin converts into morphine in the body. Can you get a copy of the actual test results?

Avatar f tn What does all this mean other than a positive test result? My test was Herpes Simples Virus (HSV) Types I and II Specific Antibodes IgG (EN) Numbers I got back.... HSV-I aB IgG >5.00H (out of range) <.90 (reference) HSV-2 aB IgG 1.75H (out of range) <.90 (reference) I know that it is not a good test result....but does anyone understand the letters and the numbers?
4250906 tn?1369809356 s on HCV AB tests Signal-to-Cut–Off Ratios for Commercially Available Assays CDC has recommended that a person be considered to have serologic evidence of HCV infection only after an anti-HCV screening-test-positive result has been verified by a more specific serologic test (e.g., RIBA) or a nucleic acid test (NAT).
Avatar n tn For what it's worth, results of the test I took last week, three months after the first test. Only results that have changed since the first test are followed by the former result between (). - Core IGM/HBCIGM: + - HBCIGG: + - HBsAg: + - HBsAg confirmation: + - HBeAg: 'dubious' (was +) - Anti-HBe: + (was -) - Anti-HBs: - - ALT: > 29 (was 2,018) I hope that it is justified to be mildly positive with these changes!
Avatar f tn The doc should at least keep an eye out. A stim test is THE test so if there is suspicion - which there could be, then that is the test to do. Ah I see your sodium is LOWish - do you crave salt and salt your food? So, be careful with the wean - medrol is a bear. Is the doc going to treat the low renin - Are they associating that with the BP issues? I fast before all my tests. BTW when you replace, you have to replace fully or not at all.
Avatar m tn What makes you think you're deficient in iodine? The most common sign of iodine deficiency is a goiter. Do you have symptoms of a thyroid disorder? It's my understanding that a single urine iodine is not very useful. The best test is a "urine loading" iodine test, in which the person is given a large amount of iodine, then tested over a 24 hr period. You might want to research that. I believe this requires special lab procedures and I'm not sure all labs can do it.
Avatar n tn After my suspected exposure on 26 March2009, I re-did these tests on 29/07/2009 and following are the results. Does these mean that I am safe? When do I do the next test again? I am really suffering from severe anxiety disorder due to this and have developed a severe gastric ulcer. I would really appreciate if you could kindly help and guide me. Do I need any more tests? Test Name Result Units Ref.
2199743 tn?1340325927 Hi prempavan, Your post is a bit difficult to follow. If I understand correct, the cut-off point is 0.25? And your antibody result is 0.07 and your antigen result is 0.00? If my understanding is correct, then you are HIV negative. Maybe, I would suggest you should check with your doctor that performed the test for you. Didn't he/she interpret the result for you? Or you did the test through online service?
Avatar f tn t provide very much information, but I do have some questions regarding a stand-alone ACTH test that I just did. Namely, my result says <5 with range as 0-46 . Is this how ACTH is usually measured, as a "less than" number. It just seemed odd. Also, can I trust this lab to rule out pituitary involvement if it was taken fasting at approximately 9am and drawn into a chilled tube?
Avatar m tn However, I think that interpretation is not for the test that my dog had done. The low dose test interpretation says something about Cortisol levels greater than 1.4. This is not her fault, she did not order the blood work but I want to call her and let her know which test my dog had done so that she knows what part of the interpretation of results to look at. My dog is now having a hard time getting up and walking. Could it be something else connected to Cushings?
Avatar f tn It was a Urine Albumin Creatinine Ratio Test (UACR Test) The lab didn't gave the range for Albumin and creatinine. The range was only for the ratio that is <30 mg/g. I'm panicking because my urine is still foamy and on various they said it's associated with kidney issues. Should I do a GFR Test?
