Around two months ago I started seeing a nephrologist to see if the blood is coming from the kidneys, and around the same time my UA test started showing protein in my urine. Bellow are the results of my last UA and a 24hr urine protein. With this results, Is the protein in my urine secondary to the gross hematuria or am I having protein in my urine because some how my kidneys are not working right???

Hi, my question is every time I have a urinalysis dip at my GP office my Ascorbic Acid in the urine is high 10mg/dl, I never take Vitamin C supplement or drink any kind of juices, I do have a little irritation/burning after urination, ( not during ) all other tests are normal in the urine and blood. My Physician does not seem to be worried. Any thoughts?
Hello! I'm hoping that someone can help to alleviate my severe stress level. For my annual checkup a week ago, I had a urinalysis done. This is the first time I've had this done, as I have a new doctor. The results showed that I was a 1+ for protein. Specific gravity was 1.015 and everything else was negative. There were no red blood cells, no white blood cells, no epithelial cells, no bacteria, no crystals, and most importantly no casts. The one very strange thing was a PH of 8.
