Does Klonopin show up differently in a urine test than Xanax? I Know, it'll show as a benzo...but then it is sent to a lab, what happens then? Do they show up differently?
I have seen and read your answer to the previous question about receiving a false negative Xanax test. I, too, tested negative for Xanax even after taking 0.25mg 4-5 hours earlier on the day of testing. My prescription, though continually written incorrectly by this doctor, is for 0.25mg, 1, 3 times a day as needed but not everyday. That was what my original prescriber told me. Now my bottles simply say to take 3 times a day.
I've struggled with methadone and xanax addiction for about 4 years. Most of this has been illegal use, but I am now attending my third methadone clinic. I don't have a prescription for the xanax, so I have to get off it. The clinic reduces my methadone dose 5mgs every 2 weeks if I keep testing dirty for benzos. I was taking 2 bars a day but have tapered down to half a bar the past few days, which is 1 mg.
If i have a prescription for alprolozam and I take a xanax will it show up differently on a urine test? I realize Alprolozam is the generic version - other than being cheaper than xanax, what other differences are there. Xanax seems to help me relax as where Alprolozam just makes me tired. I have constant joint/muscle pain from Fibromyalgia. How come I can't get a doctor to prescribe me xanax, but they will prescribe alprolozam? Also, how do I get a doctor to prescribe Marinol?
Was the urine sent out for confirmatory testing or was this an in office screen? When was the last dose taken in relation to the test?
It’s possible for an in office screen to have a false positive/negative result, due to cut off thresholds, but most pm offices send out urine for quantitative/confirmatory testing after an in office result.

I have been on Hydrocodone , Xanax and Somia for over 10 years now. For some reason it fails to show up in my urine dryg screen. I take all my medications the way I should every day. 4 Hydrocodone 10/500 mg 4x day, Xanax 1 mg 3x day and Soma 350 mg 3x day. Anyhow I go bi-monthly in December they gave me a urine test. The only things I took was my Methadone which they prescribe me and 3-4 days back took a 30mg roxy and a 1mg xanex which is not prescribed to me.
So took the oxy on Thursday & the Xanex on Friday or Saturday and my urine test at the pain management was the following Monday.

You will see people on here that fail a urine test and they lose their pain doctor because of it. For some reason a lot of people that use fentanyl seem to not keep that medication in their system and fail a urine test and lose their doctor. i am going to be tested randomly and am taking klonipin, having switched from xanax, and was told that the klonipin would not show up in the test for benzos. i need medication for anxiety and am currently undergoing daily methadone maintanence and am not supposed to have benzos in my system. so i would like to know if it safe for me to take the klonipin with out suffering repurcussions with my methadone treatment.
My doctor has suddenly started asking for a urine test each month to prescribe my medicine. I have been taking this for years now and never been asked before. The medicine is xanax and is for the shakes i occasionally get with graves disease. Does anyone know if this is required by the state(Ohio) or federal govt? My bill for this test is $450 each this is monthly as doesn't make sense. Obviously this is more than the regular visit and my prescriptions.
He said I tested positive for morphine and negative for xanax. I take 1-2 ,25mg xanax a day-prescribed by him for anxiety. He referred me to pain management and that Dr prescribed me 15 mg Amrix and 50 mg Nucynta ER a day. In late 2014 my grandmother (84 then) started thinking people who had been dead had visited her that day. I did and I asked if there was another test which the lab used the same urine for another test that was supposedly more thorough and that's where they couldn't find trace amounts.
