urine test for work

I know this is a lot to take in but can anyone help or the doctors figure out what is going on. I was test for HIV about a month ago. All my other blood work was in the normal rage. CT was negitive as well as plain x ray. I need some answers if you can help it will be greatly appreciated.

When they test for M'done in urine (at least on a clinic) they test for it's metabolite (called EDDP for short) & it's ratio to creatinine levels, There is a drug called Bentyl (Dicycloverine) prescribed for IBS that can potentially cause a false positive. There may be others too. It also depends on how good the lab is that is doing the testing. Sometimes there's sloppy work or cross-contamination, particularly in the 'collection' phase. I'd request a retest.

Don't worry about the silly test. If it's a urine test the medications will show up in your urine, especially the methadone. It has a very long half life. Please reconsider the way you are taking your medication and be honest with your self and the doctors. You will be much better off in the short and long run. good luck.

IN my CMP(14) My bilirubin,total was 1.4 mg/dl normal range 0.0 - 1.2 why is it in my urine test the bilirubin is negative? But my UA/M WITH REFLEX CULTURE,ROUTINE bilirubin negative range negative. Also in my CMP (14)my Calcium Serum was 10.3 normal range is 8.7 - 10.2 In my UA/M WITH REFLEX CULTURE,ROUTINE which is urine test i think everything came out okay except for Ketones resultsb trace range negative. I tested negative for hiv and my LIPASE,SERUM was normal range. AMYLASE normal range.

But, I think that it takes more than one test to get a diagnosis-----this may be why your doc wants to do the 24 hour urine test, also.

As the other ladies stated above, blood test are much more accurate then an urine test. It could be that your body hasn't produced enough HCG for it to show up on an urine test. Blood test pick up even the smallest amount of HCG. Talk to your doctor, ask to be retested, explain you aren't able to get a positive urine test and are concerned. Best of wishes!

So maybe because of my sample this past week I may be able to do a urine test in 1 week? Not sure if it will work. Or I am not a deceiving person at all,but I do have a friend that takes it.
