Can the buprenorphine-naloxone cause a false positive for oxycodone? I have seen that is can on an urine test but what about a hair test? If so, any recommendations on how to work through it to get it cleared? Thanks.

To my knowledge skmedline is correct. The lab will contact you if opiates are discovered in your urine drug test. You'll be given an opportunity to provide documented information from your prescribing physician that explains the positive results. At least that is how it works in my state. Unless you are applying for a position that deems opiate prescriptions to be dangerous, such as driving, you should not have to be concerned over prescription opiates. Good Luck to you.

Sub doctors have a special test for this drug. At this point in time, it is not available to employment screens as it is very specific and very expensive. With time this will change, but not at this time you have a prescription correct? If it showed up, u would be ok? I do understand not wanting to broadcast u r on sub...unlike methadone, it is not an approved pain med in the US. It is only approved for addiction so saying u r on it is a dead give-away good luck getting ur job..
