I had a kidney infection with kidney stones. I ended up in the hospital the day after Christmas and was there a good 5 days.

Hi girls, I've been having a little bit of blood in my urine, on and off, for the past few weeks. It shows up on my liner as carnation pink, and my midwife measured it in a urine sample (plus leukocytes, aka white blood cells). The urine sample was sent off and came back as mixed growth meaning it was impossible for the microbiologists to determine if I had a UTI. I provided another sample a few days ago and am awaiting its results (but there wasn't any blood or WBCs in it).

I think it's totally safe cuz yeast infection is very common in pregnancy so don't worry and i.

I had a urinary tract infection 2 weeks ago, took the anitobotics, during the infection I seen white particles in my urine which was the infection. Dr. did another urine sample, w/ little blood & little to no infection. However I was still have aching pain on my left lower back. Dr. ordered ultrasound of kidneys & bladder that has come back normal with no kidneys stones.

I'm 19+4 weeks. I have never had urine infection in my previous pregnancies. I have had it for the past 2 months and now for the past couple of days I'm really itchy down there. Just wanted to know is it itchy due to the urine infection? I have been prescribed antibiotics by the midwife to clear it up. Need to start them today.

I'm in Australia and yea usually if there is protein and stuff in your urine they give you antibiotics for a urine infection

Based on my experience, blood in the urine was due to urinary tract infection. I felt pain in my vagina when passing urine and drops of blood came out after the urine. My gynecologist gave me antibiotics to treat the infection. If your wife feels the same, better take her to the doctor immediately.

Yeah i have a kidney infection again plus doc is wanting to do a ultrasound on my left kidney to see if its function rigght doc gave me extra strength tylenol and antibiotics agaon plus they sent my urine in for cultral im okay just in alot of pain gotta pick my meds up later

Urine infections.are normal in pregnancies. i am chronic.for.them.i had 7 with my twins the last two put me in preterm labor at 23 weeks and i delivered at 24 weeks. this prrgnancy i have had 4 already and am only 20+1 am dialted and.effaced already. drink.plenty of water and cranberry juice no sugary drinks! A bladder infection could make your penis sore due to the acidic urine. Make sure you drink plenty of water. Don't that that because you are going a lot to empty your bladder that you have to drink less. This is not so. When you have your appointment with the doctor, take a morning mid stream urine sample with you. The doctor's surgery will provide you with a sterilized urine specimen bottle for you to do your sample in. The morning sample is the strongest.

So its strange how she has urine infection as does my new partner including me. I got tested for urine infection and came back i had one but std came back negative. Should i be worried about the other std's that the gum clinic doesnt test for?

Not necessarily, but if left untreated then the protein in your urine from the infection can be dangerous to the pregnancy. Consult your doctor asap whenever you have any sign of a UTI.

recently I had a sudden blood in urine and urgency to go but little comes out then half hour a repeat.. I took azithromyacin and within a few hours noticed a dramatic cessation of symptoms.. its been days now and all seems fine..if this was something more than lets say a tract infection, would the symptoms go away with the antibiotics I took..I cannot find cranberry juice here in the part of the philippines I am located, what else is good to clean and maintain please.

Hiya im 33+4 and i felt like i had a urine infection yesterday but ive drunk loads of cranberry juice and feel fine this morning just wanted peoples opinion on whether i should still go the doctors or not thank you for ur replies in advance :) xx

we all know that 2oz is very lil .. but that is what is in the jug that they gave me to collect it in.... thanks for the help...... i have to collect till 9am tomarrow morning than take it to the lab n get bloodwork done along with it .. all this stuff is starting to worry me a lil... thanks ladies./......

One of which is an infection. Infection of the bladder or infection of the kidneys. Usually other symptoms accompany the blood in the urine. I would suggest you see your GP or a urologist for help while you keep searching the internet. Best wishes for a quick recovery.

just come home from an app with consultant and have got 2 months of blood tests an sperm tests to do.whilst we were there the nurse tested my urine and said there was blood in my urine!my partner asked what does that mean and she said'it just means its there!' 10 mins later she went bk 2 look at it and said i will just send it to the lab for checks anyway! i asume its nothing serious or important or the doc would of told us but im just courious as to what it could mean.

a UTI is a form of either bladder infection or kidney infection and what it soulds like is what i am trying to get over , i also had blood in my urine and peed in a cup to see that i had small long lookign bloody clots , and when i wiped it was like a mucus . she needs antibiotics asap cause if the bactiria travels to the kidneys it may do damage , so if u feel as though she is getting worse then yes go to the e.
