ultracet and prozac

Still some pain so am taking 3 Ultracet tabs per 24 hours with pretty good pain relief except following 30 minutes on the treadmill and various muscle building exercises and stretches. To calm down those muscles following exercises and stretches I would like to take one 200mg Celebrex daily but one drug interaction cite suggests "Moderate" drug-drug issue involving CYP450 2D6, which means nothing to me.

Ultram is nothing more than the Brand name for Tramadol and Ultram ER is a timed release of Tramadol. Ultracet is merely Tramdol and Tylenol in the same pill.

If you take 10 ultracet per day you'll be getting 3250 mg of tylenol, the maximum therapeutic dose if 4000 mg per day. So you should make sure you don't exceed the max dose prescribed by your doctor and make sure you don't exceed 4000 mg per day and I would recommend getting your liver checked also here and there. My husband just had his Gallbladder removed and he was addict for 13 years he's been clean for 7 the dr prescribed him Ultracet and he's scared to take it for the pain because of his addictive past. The Dr knew he was a addict and told him they are not addictive but reading online it says it is should he get the script filled or just take OTC meds? If OTC what should he take?

ultracet it highly addictive as well. The withdrawl is VERY bad .

I just came home from wally world, talked to the pharmisitist, $56 for Ultracet they said take tramadol and tylnnol, its the same thing, and you can get tram for $8 a script, And ultacet has 37.5mg of tram and tramold has 50mg, so I think I will tuff it out and see what PT dose it has helped with pain in the past. Man drug co. are tricky.

I believe Ultram and Ultracet are the same. It is 37.5 tramadol and whatever of acetaminophen. I had the generic of Ultracet (have the bottle right in front of me) it is broke down as aceetaminophen and 37.5 tramadol. It is entitled tramadol (generic for Ultracet) but it has the acet/tramadol combination. I was then prescribed straight tramadol which is 50mg tramadol with nothing else added. period. If ultram is different than that is news to me.

i just went to the doctor, and he gave me ultracet. does this work for pain and help withdrawl from hydros?

I ask because I had to change doctors, and while he wasnt too happy to write for the vicodins i have been on for years, he had no problem with ultracet and he gave me a script.....so im basically asking, do people get addicted to this drug? should i not even start it?

I'm not really sure how to use this site, so I hope I'm answering your question. Yes, I quit ct. I was taking Tylenol 3 and Ultracet, but ran out of T3s a week ago, so I took the last of my Ultracet.

is ultracet a combo of ultram and loracet?....some peopl r different i guess....like i could take my percosets as prescribed but oxycontin i couldnt......and it takes time to get addicted......as u know since u have been addicted to vicodin......beware....

Hot baths with epson salt (if you have it)or hot showers,heating pads help some,imodium for your belly problems,bananas,gatoraid,lots of water ,try to eat and getting up and moving around even exercise if you can.Getting out of the house and walking up and down my driveway helped me more than anything.There will be people who know more than me that will help you soon.Good Luck and keep on fighting you can do this!

I have take Hydrocodone since April of last year, 1 or 2 5/500 a day on average and rarely 3 or 4. There are some days that I have not needed it but most days I do. Is Ultracet a lot different as far as pain relief? Does it take the pain away like the Lortab does? Any comments or help you can give would really be appreciated. Thanks a million!! By the way, my blood pressure has always been 110 or 120 over 60 or 70 and today it was way up for me, 150 over 91.

Well I relapsed a couple of weeks ago but tapered my norcos over the weeked and am now on day 2 clean (yay for me). The problem is I have a MAJOR job interview today and am not feeling well. chills, runny nose, bathroom, etc. I found an Ultracet lying around. Will this help me get through today? I have fibromyalgia, degenerative disk disease, and cervical disk pain from previous cervical surgeries. Up until 2 weeks ago, I was taking Effexor XR daily, and Zanaflex and Ultracet 37.5, as needed. 2 weeks ago my cervical disk started going haywire with pain. I upped my Ultracet to 3 a day as prescribed and started taking the Zanaflex to the maximum dosage too. This did not faze the pain.

I am on day 10 and have had it pretty easy. I used utracet for my aches and pains and they deminished almost completely. For energy I used the amino acids, and I feel good. Everyday I feel noticably better. For sleep I have been using Unisom, and I have slept every night. I have tried quiting several times and this has been the easiest, because I used ultracet. That stuff worked wonders for me. I only needed this for 4 days.

I am a music minister in an Evangelical Bible Church and have just had my second back surgery. My back feels great! I had unbearable pain for only a year (not much compared to some of the posters on here (7+ years of back pain, how do you do it?)). I have been taking Ultracet weekly and sometimes daily for four years getting Tussionex and other opiates we I could. I have come off the Ultracet a few times now and did not like the WD's....shaky legs, headaches, etc. A few months ago, I was diagnosed pleurasy was given Loratab 10 for pain. Upon running out, I convinced my Doctor that Ultracet caused the pleurasy and have been given Loratab for low back pain ever since. That has been 2-3 months now. I am now taking 30-60mg a day.

Hi Mom, I was addicted to Tramadol for 18 months, with 9+ months of daily abuse. I am still learning about it and am a Vet, having Rx'd it for my own patients. The short of it is, it IS addictive and do NOT believe ANYone telling you it is not. I believe that you have an addiction if you revolve your days and thoughts about when your next dose is, if you get excited to take it, if you seek it out and start doing things you normally would not to get it, things like that.

He has never tried physical therapy /working out. I am very into health and fitness and I just feel like he is letting himself waste away. It is killing me to watch! He is never constipated it is usually the opposite and he has diarrhea. When I was taking Prozac I didnt gain weight.Paxcel made me gain some though.

I am able to live with my attacks (which can get really bad at times) and I actually have a fear of taking meds. I think the only thing I will take is a child's dose of tylenol only when I have a fever or migrane. I have discovered that taking Vitamin B Complex capsules have helped reduce my stress and anxiety levels. Also, I still love taking Flinstone vitamins, on top of the vit B complex. I feel great when I don't miss out in taking one a day.
