I'm thinking because of the pseudoephedrine ingredient, kids may think they'll get a "speed" type of feeling. Mostly it's a rapid heart rate if you take too much. Either way it's not good to abuse it. Also,Claritin-D cannot be purchased over the counter. You need to ask for it at the pharmacy and you'll get it AFTER your license is checked and recorded.

My brother is in college and has in the past had trouble with weed, smoking it at irresponsible times and more often than me and my family thought healthy. Regardless he seemed to be able to function properly so, though we did try to help curb it, we did not take drastic action (my parents kicked him out but he had plenty of other support). This has been going on for years and we have never had cause to believe that it went further than weed.

but you may also consider speaking to him about what drugs he has used. speed/crank;coke can cause this type of behavior. while doing speed you do not feel as if you are addicted as you do not go through a wd as in opiates but you do have mental craving.. speed will keep one awake and pacing and also cause hallucinations if taken enough. Look for behavior changes like lack of apposite weight loss talking a lot enlarged pupils and paranoia.. I wish you and your son the very best..
The first drugs I was ever introduced to were your common street drugs - speed, x, coke, and even meth which I did with a needle. Yeah I partied and had my fun but I just stopped and it wasn't hard and these are some of the most addictive drugs out there, are they not? For some reason "uppers" got me high, but never got a real "hold" on me you know? But then when I was 21 I got introduced to all kinds of pills. Valium, soma, xanax, lorcets, norcos, oxycotin etc...

I always feel at a loss when I get question like these, because just like you in this situation, I feel helpless. There is not much you nor I can do to help someone who is not willing to be helped. Your love will NOT save her. You have to look inside yourself and see if you are willing to stay in this relationship the way it is now, not the way you think it may be someday.
it is very much large and illigal over here but alot of people do use it for all the wrong reasons where i lives i hate any type of drug cant even stand the smell of it,i think i just have to accept that there are people all over the world that takes all types of things and my opinion is just mine as long as none of my family ever uses it then fine thanks for your answer.
