Avatar f tn My blood type is also O+. I found out my blood type after I enlisted in the military plus I found my blood type on my birth certificate. I do suffer from depression and I do have anger issues but I am managing both with therapy. I know when I don't eat, I do get very cranky. I've never had a manic episode but there are times when I was darn near close. I had to remove myself from particular situations or else it may have landed me in jail. Simply because I skipped lunch.
Avatar n tn hcg diet: basically one protein from list, one fruit from list, and up to three veggies from list for lunch and dinner.
Avatar n tn Before that I was the blood type diet (type A) so I did not eat meat for the most part on that scenario and I was actually never hungry. Type A does not get to eat meat on that plan but I didn't miss it much surprisingly. So for me, before I ever started the HCG, I made some major lifestyle changes by deciding to go on the blood type diet. so when I did go on HCG I was already a bit prepared I supposes. There were days when I would gain a pound but then lose 2 pounds.
Avatar m tn o). They don’t specify the type of fat, so I suppose the equivalent in things like olive oil, etc, would be acceptable. I’d hate to achieve SVR, and then die a few months later from heart disease, as you mentioned. Who knows?
620923 tn?1452919248 but, we also know we have many more symptoms that r chiari related that fall thru the cracks...lets make a list of all the symptoms not on the Official lists.
Avatar n tn I had to have a physical from my own doctor who had to sign some paper work from GHI and I had to have a blood test as specified from GHI Medical. I followed the 500 calorie diet religiously. I had plenty of energy to exercise which I did 5 - 6 aerobic work outs and 3 weight training work outs. I am a personal trainer and I was having an extremely frustrating time loosing weight after the birth of my 3rd child. Yes, I washed my hair and conditioned it.
Avatar n tn Every time i finish food or even when i have an empty stomach i get this hiccup/burp. It sounds like a hiccup but then gas is expelled from my stomach thus giving a belching noice. It feels really uncomfortable and when im in public i get funny looks as it sounds very strange. I had an upper GI endoscopy which revealed a very small hiatus hernia, and also my duodeum was scared from ulcers id had in the past. Also, about 8 years ago i tested positive for Helicobactorpylori.
1026267 tn?1257594873 I don't know if almond or rice milk have the iodine in them or not, but there is one other thing that might be of help here. I found out that people with type "O" blood should not use coconut or palm anything, even the healthy extra virgin kind. I also found out that dairy isn't really good for type "O" people either.
Avatar f tn I just looked in my cupboards and fridge to write out my shopping list for the week, and the only sweet/junk food that I have is a small container of white sugar, I have homemade muesli, some dried fruits, fresh fruits and vegetables all of which they can have what they like, but they wont touch them, that's not what they want they will starve themselves until they get their sugar hit, and its terrifying and frustrating, I just wish I could stop them.
Avatar n tn o) God bless.
Avatar f tn Protein and fiber fill you up faster and take longer for the body to break down, so keep you feeling fuller longer. Do a search for food high in complex carbs to come up with list - there are bound to be some you like. Stay away from refined sugar, flour, rice etc as much as possible. Salt is another huge offender as it will cause you to retain a lot of fluid, which is just as bad.
Avatar n tn But on to bigger and better things remember even if you have a low diet consisting of only 900 cal what kind of food you are puttin in your mouth cuz i can eat 6 snicker bars and have only eaten 600 or 700 cals lol that was just an example of course not saying thats what you are doing but just reminding be careful what foods you have been choosing and also after your 4wks when you go back to regualr diet you have to keep working out and eating good otherwise time money and effort will be throw
Avatar f tn I would also suggest, if you have not already done so, to adopt a carb-healthy diet. Know the carbs in the servings of food that you are serving, try to keep them consistent (meaning don't have a 20 gram breakfast one day and a 150 gram breakfast the next). Your endo should have a diabetic educator or dietician available to help you create and maintain that diet. Does that help?
Avatar m tn it's nice to hear someone mention diet in this thread. i have a lot of the same symptoms and have had all the usual tests (ekg, blood work, chest x-ray, hormone panel - I'm 49) and everything came back NORMAL, whatever that is. Anyone reading this should google MSG. It's a ubiquitious food additive that has been proven to affect people in a BAD way neurologically. I have given up on doctors--they are so out of touch and I feel are just in the game to push the drug remedies.
Avatar n tn It worked good for me. As far as diet I started with the Swank diet but think the Paleo Diet has shown more success in threating neurological diseases. As far as the dental thing I had 10 root canals and an assortment of fillings. My gums were bleeding and that was clearly a problem in my case. Everyone must decide this issue for theirself because this is a major decision. I have some information concerning this issue that I will post.
Avatar f tn The information that the clinic has provided does list a few recipes but I would like to expand a bit as I am becoming board with current food choices. Also, I am mostly a vegetarian but eat some fish. Thanks!
Avatar m tn High blood sugar and high insulin is what brings on all those long term complications like, blindness, heart trouble, high blood pressure and so on. Legumes are on the list of good carbs. But one dry cup Black or Garbanzo beans would raise my Blood Sugar over 600 mg/dl. Add that to the steady state and no doubt it would be about 700 mg/dl. Actually no one would eat a cup of what had been a dry cup so the actual rise in b/g would be less. But substantial.

Avatar n tn Also, I looked up folk remedies for acid reflux and learned about apple cider vinager. I have supplemented ACV into my diet and have not seen blood traces in months, although I still feel symptoms...but I suppose it's something a person has to learn to live with.
Avatar n tn My adult daughter -- who has never had allergies has begun developing severe anaphylaxis type food allergies. Each week or so her list grows. I am wondering if a hormone change, caused by the birth of her daughter nine months ago, and breast feeding could trigger this. She had a scratch test done, but the doc said her skin was so sensitive that he wanted to do the blood test.

765439 tn?1292964014 Who should get CyberKnife Radiosurgery? There is a subset of patients with pituitary adenoma that is particularly suited to undergo CyberKnife radiosurgery: 1. Patients with small tumors that overproduce a pituitary hormone 2. Patients who have residual tumor after transsphenoidal surgery 3. Patients with hormone-producing tumors, who continue to have higher than normal hormone levels after surgery 4. Patients with adenoma that has invaded the cavernous sinus 5.
Avatar n tn On one occasion I asked Dr. DeAdamo (Eat right for your blood type) and was told to take bioflavonoids for it. I am beginning to take the supplement now, since the vessel popping has become too annoying to ignore.
1047234 tn?1253547296 You can probably find it at 2nd hand book stores too. It's interesting. If you are O I think O blood type can eat protein where a A positive should limit protein. I can't digest steak or port very well. I eat it by not often. I am also very acidic so I try to eat foods that are more alkaline and that is why I always take an enzyme supplement before eating a meal.
Avatar n tn My LMP was around November 10, 2005. Ever since then I've been having headaches, backaches, stomach cramps, nausea & vomiting, sweats, nipple discharge, and CM. I went to the doctor and my nipple discharge was in fact milk. I've taken several HPT and they all have come back negative. I have had 2 blood tests which both beta hCG came back as <2 mIU/mL. My prolactin level went from 5.9 to 8.7 ng/mL in a week. I have heard that some womens hCG cant be detected for a couple months.
