Type o blood type diet

Common Questions and Answers about Type o blood type diet

Avatar f tn My blood type is also O+. I found out my blood type after I enlisted in the military plus I found my blood type on my birth certificate. I do suffer from depression and I do have anger issues but I am managing both with therapy. I know when I don't eat, I do get very cranky. I've never had a manic episode but there are times when I was darn near close. I had to remove myself from particular situations or else it may have landed me in jail. Simply because I skipped lunch.
1230912 tn?1273496370 The first I had a miscarriage...so I dont know what blood type the baby had...my other two are both O Negitive...But they gave me the shot anyway...they said to help protect the next baby if there was another pregnancy.
Avatar n tn This can be hard to prove with blood tests sinceit is a temporary thing, and you cannot produce a hypoglycemic episode necessarily just when blood is being drawn. You may want to work some small changes to her diet -- avoid simple sugars, for "reactive" hypoglycemics, those whose pancreases are overstimulated by sugary foods, will suffer lows after eating foods high in simple sugars. Complex carbohydrates are not as likely to stimulate insulin production.
1028452 tn?1537452084 According to a Japanese institute that does research on blood types, there are certain personality traits that seem to match up with certain blood types. How do you rate? TYPE O You want to be a leader, and when you see something you want, you keep striving until you achieve your goal. You are a trend-setter, loyal, passionate, and self-confident. Your weaknesses include vanity and jealously and a tendency to be too competitive. TYPE A You like harmony, peace and organization.
Avatar f tn I am an O +, and follow closely the O Blood Type food plan. Only problem I have is so little control over the increased work load & stress as a teacher. I have plans to retire in 2 years and 30 weeks to be more in control of the stress. Until then, I will have to endure the pain -possible Fibro. [Had endometriosis, and hysterectomy.] Suffer from fatigue and the typically O-hypothyroidism [as is typical for Os.] My question- a new Dr. wants to put me on Cimbalta.
Avatar n tn And are these patients your father sees Type 2 diabetics? Type 1 diabetes is when the pancreas does not produce insulin. Type 2 diabetes is most often diagnosed in people who are overweight, do not exercise and have a history of neglecting the needs of their bodies. Therefore Type 2 diabetics still produce insulin but their bodies do not use the insulin sufficiently or I could say properly. Anyway, why don't you try talking to your parents, maybe there was some miscommunication.
Avatar n tn O my, just live life and Enjoy, but do take care of your diet, and limit the white flour and sweets according to your blood sugars. How do u feel since your bypass surgery? better or fatigue?
Avatar n tn Try the blood type diet. worked for me. lost 60 lbs in six months. Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo has a book out that makes a ton of sense called "eating right 4 your type". It works!
Avatar m tn To gain weight with diabetes, one needs to eat enough and to have enough insulin. T o keep blood sugars stable one needs to follow a low carb diet. In your situation I'd recommend the book by Dr. Richard Bernstein "Diabetes Solution". It will tell you how to control your blood sugar using low carb diet and exercise, and medications (as necessary).
Avatar f tn I dont have any info on my liver yet.
Avatar n tn You guys are sure swell! About the whey protein thing - I've been using MetRx protein bars as sort of an indulging-type "diet aid". mmmmmmmmmm chocolate roasted peanut with caramel. 320 calories, 32 grams of protein. I also like to eat edame (soy beans) & hummus & boca burgers & basically I try to keep it down to 65g/day, but often go over 90g.

Avatar n tn Before that I was the blood type diet (type A) so I did not eat meat for the most part on that scenario and I was actually never hungry. Type A does not get to eat meat on that plan but I didn't miss it much surprisingly. So for me, before I ever started the HCG, I made some major lifestyle changes by deciding to go on the blood type diet. so when I did go on HCG I was already a bit prepared I supposes. There were days when I would gain a pound but then lose 2 pounds.
Avatar n tn They specifically eliminate blood sugar spikes, and keep the blood sugar in a normal range. Blood sugar spiking is another theory as to why many type 1 diabetics gain weight, and these low GI foods reduce it. Just a side note however, when I was on the diet, my blood sugar constantly went low and i had to compensate by eating multiple snacks throughout the day, something that probably offset my pound-shedding.
Avatar n tn I had to have a physical from my own doctor who had to sign some paper work from GHI and I had to have a blood test as specified from GHI Medical. I followed the 500 calorie diet religiously. I had plenty of energy to exercise which I did 5 - 6 aerobic work outs and 3 weight training work outs. I am a personal trainer and I was having an extremely frustrating time loosing weight after the birth of my 3rd child. Yes, I washed my hair and conditioned it.
Avatar n tn I developed Type 1 diabetes when I was 18. I am now 63 and still going strong. I check my blood sugar 8 - 10 times a day. I take 3 injections of novolog daily and an injection of lantus at night. I've had few complications. I did have a heart attack at 49; however, there is a history of serious heart disease on both sides of my family. I'm feeling good and diabetes has not stopped me from extensive travel or any form of employment.
Avatar m tn If you find it is faster by 6 beats, you are allergic or have a sensitivity to it. If you have typeOblood, use 4 beats as the criteria instead of 6. It’s that simple. Underlying pathogenic Infections.
Avatar f tn To comment on your original Sept post, not everyone with Hashimoto gets unbearable muscle tightness, but for those that do it can be miserable. Adding some type of T3 seems to help most people with this hypo symptom, and keeping the T3 in the top third of the range. Also, as previously stated some Magnesium helps. The most common type, magnesium oxide will not help with muscle pain, or tension. Mag glycinate is the best for this condition and mag citrate also helps.
Avatar n tn I too have that annoying hiccup, following by a burp which relieves the feeling of pressure in my upper abdomen. I have changed my entire diet by eliminating chocolate, coffee, red meat, wheat and dairy. My dr. gave me prescription Zantac which helps a great deal, but I am still having this problem at least 10 times a day. The next step will probably be an upper GI series or endoscopy if this doesn't improve within the next couple of weeks.
492537 tn?1214326041 At the follow-up visit with my doctor, she told me that she recommended removal of the ovaries (an oopherectomy, the Big O-O) as well as a hysterectomy to remove the uterus. The cervix was up to me. There were several options and combinations of surgeries possible. Since the other ovary was not affected, theoretically, that could stay. However, given the chances of future cysts and ovarian cancer, the decision to remove both ovaries was easy.
1026267 tn?1257594873 I don't know if almond or rice milk have the iodine in them or not, but there is one other thing that might be of help here. I found out that people with type "O" blood should not use coconut or palm anything, even the healthy extra virgin kind. I also found out that dairy isn't really good for type "O" people either.
Avatar f tn Hi I am new to this site, I have MS, Sarcoidosis, and have been diagnosed with Diabetes type 2 due to high dose Prednisone use My questions is, Diet.

897070 tn?1320656229 After my recent diagnosis of cirrhosis and steatosis I am really seriously considering changing my diet with the intention of lightening the load on my liver. It would be good to be able to lower my inflamation a little. I'm wondering if anyone on the forum has changed to say vegetarian and if so whether they have seen any signs of improvement.
Avatar n tn I recently landed a nice job with an excellent health insurance that will cover the surgery (but they want 6 months of doctor supervised diet/exercise recorded). At her first doctor's appointment yesterday her blood pressure was taken and was 150/110. Her doctor said that if some pills don't work she will have to be hospitalized. I'm terrified that she will have a stroke, heart-attack or anuerism, before we get her surgery aproved.
Avatar f tn in fact, i will soon not even be taking thyroid meds and managing the disease by diet. Get a T3 blood test. Get tested for gluten intolerence. Do some research on Hashimoto and you will find this is nothing like any other type of thyroid disease. it is more of an auto immune disease. Hope this helps. Believe it or not Hashimoto is the most misdiagnosed thyroid disease and MOST medical doctors (even your endocrenoligist may not know how to properly deal with this disease.
Avatar f tn Perhaps their bodies aren't actually trying to break down the aspartame and ignoring actual sugars. Perhaps instead, their blood sugar levels are not kept where they were prior to switching to diet soda and so they are unconsciously consuming more food that probably has more calories in it than the soda would have had in it.
