But I took the pill as soon as I got home and took the next pill the next day at my regular time. I am really paranoid why my period hasn't started yet. I called my doctor and his assistant said I should have started Tuesday or Wednesday. She said to give it til Friday and if I still haven't started, to take a preg. test. But I really don't know how I could be preg. though. We were never unprotected and I didn't skip any pills. Am I just overreacting?

I took Tri-Sprintec (which is the same thing as Trinessa) for 3 years and my period almost always came on Wednesday of my inactive week (I was a Sunday start so Wednesday was the 4th day of the inactive pill week). Once or twice it came on Tuesday.
It is because it take a few days after the last active pill for your progesterone levels to level out and trigger your period.
i was on the shot for 3 months, my period was acting up. it took me 3 months to get back on it. i just started the trinessa birth control pill a month ago but i feel nauseated, i take it everyday and i am a week late. am i pregnant or is it the pill playing mind games with me?

Now my causing says that the name brand has pink pills insted of green ( the last 7 pills ) and it spins to dispence every pill, and trinessa you have to punch trough the bottom to get the pills... I am currently on trinessa and have been for a couple of years. A few weeks ago I was on flagyl for bacterial vaginosis. I continued to take my birth control throughout at the same time every day and did not miss a pill. 11 days after I was off the antibiotics I did have sexual intercourse. Like I said, I continued to take my birth control as normal, and he withdrew before ejaculating. I also had been off the antibiotic for over a week. I am just concerned on my risk of pregnancy.
Ok im on birth control (trinessa) but while on my period the green pills i dont take them and while visiting my daughters dad we had sex used no protection cuz im on the pill but i should be ovulating right now and i missed taking a pill today.

Not too long ago insurance switched me to trinessa. The first month of those I bled after intercourse when I still had one active pill left. It's been probably 3 month since the switch now. I take it around same time every day not exact. But it's my blank pills week and I have not been having my normal period. There is not much of a flow, it's mainly when I wipe.

Yes, Trinessa is a birth control pill. It has helped as far as not having any more cysts rupture, but I still have frequent pain and now am getting severe migraines. I will continue taking the pill, though, because I would rather put up with the migraines than the rupturing of cysts. My mom had severe endometriosis a few years ago and ended up having a hysterectomy to take care of it (she was only 38 or so at the time of her hysterectomy).

Hi, I have a vacation coming up in a couple of weeks so I tried to skip this month's period so I could get my next period a week before I had to leave on vacation. I skipped the placebos and started taking the white pills of a new pack last Friday. However, I was already spotting that Friday and I have continued to bleed everyday since then. I took Trinessa for 7 days, was not on it before, was very nausea so stopped, experienced immediatly possible breakthrough bleeding for 12 long days, now 22 days later waiting on a period when will it come? t bleed before or after, just during. I have been on the pill (Trinessa) for about 2-3 years now, have had regular gyno visits that come out normal and I still bleed. We can have sex one time and not bleed and have it again later on and I'd bleed then or vice versa. It doesn't happen all the time and I've tried to see if each time I bleed, it's because we do a certain thing, but I don't think this is the case. Any ideas as to why this could be happening?
