Ok im on birth control (trinessa) but while on my period the green pills i dont take them and while visiting my daughters dad we had sex used no protection cuz im on the pill but i should be ovulating right now and i missed taking a pill today.

But I took the pill as soon as I got home and took the next pill the next day at my regular time. I am really paranoid why my period hasn't started yet. I called my doctor and his assistant said I should have started Tuesday or Wednesday. She said to give it til Friday and if I still haven't started, to take a preg. test. But I really don't know how I could be preg. though. We were never unprotected and I didn't skip any pills. Am I just overreacting?

I stopped taking the trinessa pill and now I'm spotting brownish can that be a sign of pregnacy ?? Or period I had missed two pills during the time I took the birth control and had unprotected sex.. I don't know if to wait to get a period or test ??

I loved the nuvaring! But I have visual migraines that cause me to. E on a low estrogen kind of birth control, so it was that, pill, arm implant, or iud. I did the pill for a while, but I'm not responsible enough to take it daily at the same time.

I took Tri-Sprintec (which is the same thing as Trinessa) for 3 years and my period almost always came on Wednesday of my inactive week (I was a Sunday start so Wednesday was the 4th day of the inactive pill week). Once or twice it came on Tuesday. It is because it take a few days after the last active pill for your progesterone levels to level out and trigger your period.

I started my new pack of Trinessa last Sunday. I didn't take Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday as the alarm set on my phone failed to go off and it totally slipped my mind, yes I know, my bad. during those days, don't recall when exactly, I had unprotected sex, maybe a couple of times. About 4 to 5 days later, my fiance and I had intercourse again and afterward, when I went to use the restroom, there was pinkish spotting on the toilet paper. This is new for me.

Birth control is another useful option to have regular periods. My favorite birth control pill were the Trinessa 28s. They were super gentle on my body and even kept the acne at bay much better than other pills I tried in the past.

Now my causing says that the name brand has pink pills insted of green ( the last 7 pills ) and it spins to dispence every pill, and trinessa you have to punch trough the bottom to get the pills... Now I just want to know how the name brand of ortho tri cyclen really looks like, if anyone can provide a pic would be very helpful ...... I am currently on trinessa and have been for a couple of years. A few weeks ago I was on flagyl for bacterial vaginosis. I continued to take my birth control throughout at the same time every day and did not miss a pill. 11 days after I was off the antibiotics I did have sexual intercourse. Like I said, I continued to take my birth control as normal, and he withdrew before ejaculating. I also had been off the antibiotic for over a week. I am just concerned on my risk of pregnancy.

Not too long ago insurance switched me to trinessa. The first month of those I bled after intercourse when I still had one active pill left. It's been probably 3 month since the switch now. When I was on the pill I had the same issue, I think it might just be the hormones in the pill that reduces your period to nothing, over a period of time.

Yes, Trinessa is a birth control pill. It has helped as far as not having any more cysts rupture, but I still have frequent pain and now am getting severe migraines. I will continue taking the pill, though, because I would rather put up with the migraines than the rupturing of cysts. My mom had severe endometriosis a few years ago and ended up having a hysterectomy to take care of it (she was only 38 or so at the time of her hysterectomy).

Hi, I have a vacation coming up in a couple of weeks so I tried to skip this month's period so I could get my next period a week before I had to leave on vacation. I skipped the placebos and started taking the white pills of a new pack last Friday. However, I was already spotting that Friday and I have continued to bleed everyday since then. Hi! If you were my patient, and had only missed one pill, I would advise you that the correct thing to do is to take two pills as soon as you realize your mistake. If you do that you should be OK, but it never hurts to use back up such as condoms. Good luck!

ve been on Orthortrycyclin for about half a year and I missed taking it last Monday (April 5) and I was supposed to start my period that Thursday (April 8). I also missed my pill on the day I was supposed to start but have been taking them everyday still without doubling up or anything cause I was told not it if I missed. I missed day 15, but took it as soon as I realised the next day and continued as usual and did not have sex prior to this. However I missed the last pill in my packet as well (day 21) before my 7 day break for my period as I went out of town forgetting my pill packet!

I took Trinessa for 7 days, was not on it before, was very nausea so stopped, experienced immediatly possible breakthrough bleeding for 12 long days, now 22 days later waiting on a period when will it come? Also had sex with boyfriend on and off the first 3 days on the pill, unprotected. I guess I am wanting to know when will my period start again and is there any chance of a pregnancy.
