Avatar f tn I have a similar situation, but I am not worried about getting pregnant at this time. I am on my first month of Trinessa Low. I am on day 2 of the placebo pills. I am thinking of only taking 5 placebo pills the next two months in hopes that my period will come a few days early in August (so I can be blood free on my vacation). I am also playing with the idea of only taking 6 of the lowest dose of pills the first week for the next cycle.
Avatar f tn t work well if you want to skip your period by taking the packs back to back because the pills go from low dose to high dose of hormones instead of the same level for all 3 weeks. For me, I wanted to stay protected and continued to finish out the pack and went back to respecting the placebo week. My period normalized after a while.
Avatar f tn But I have visual migraines that cause me to. E on a low estrogen kind of birth control, so it was that, pill, arm implant, or iud. I did the pill for a while, but I'm not responsible enough to take it daily at the same time.
Avatar n tn I have been on trinessa for 4 weeks now. I am on the Sunday start pills. I started the first Sunday of July. My last period started the first Saturday of July. I've been taking my pills at the same time daily. I've been having protective sex always, and the guy never releases in me. Even though he wears a condom, he always pulls out before he has to ejaculate. I am now on the 5th day of my 4th week pills (I started Sunday). I still haven't started my period.
Avatar m tn My birth control is Trinessa.
Avatar n tn I am on trinessa. It is my first month on birth control ever and usually my periods are about 19-25 days apart. I am on my 3rd day of the inactive pills right now and have still not gotten my period. I originally went on birth control because my periods are so irregular and to protect myself against pregnancy. I took a pregnancy test two days ago just to settle my nerves and it came back negative. I still have not gotten it though.
Avatar n tn i was on the shot for 3 months, my period was acting up. it took me 3 months to get back on it. i just started the trinessa birth control pill a month ago but i feel nauseated, i take it everyday and i am a week late. am i pregnant or is it the pill playing mind games with me?
Avatar f tn I am currently on trinessa and have been for a couple of years. A few weeks ago I was on flagyl for bacterial vaginosis. I continued to take my birth control throughout at the same time every day and did not miss a pill. 11 days after I was off the antibiotics I did have sexual intercourse. Like I said, I continued to take my birth control as normal, and he withdrew before ejaculating. I also had been off the antibiotic for over a week. I am just concerned on my risk of pregnancy.
Avatar f tn After this next test (draw is on Aug 2nd), if my FT3 comes back low [like the June test], then I will ask to either up my dose of WP one more time OR ask for them to compound my NDT meds. My practitioner is aware we need to maintain my levels in the interim until my endo appointment.
18026835 tn?1462471175 I'm 21 years old and have been on Trinessa for about 2 months. With the first month, my period was scheduled to start halfway through my pill cycle and instead I just spotted a little. And today I am spotting again and I'm not supposed to start for another 3 weeks. I'm very nervous and I don't want to be pregnant since it won't be my fiancée's and I don't want to deal with a baby from that awful situation....
Avatar f tn The next week, I met with my doctor again, he finally convinced me to start taking the medicine. The Xanax didn’t work; he gave me a low dose of .25. I stopped taking the Xanax but continued with the Celexa. I met with the psychologist. We had the normal intake session. One week later, I was still feeling bad. I was having pressure headaches, crying, dizziness, and some nausea. Within the first 10 minutes of my session, the psychologist told me that she didn’t think I had anxiety.
Avatar f tn ve been reading many old posts on here and just wanted to ask this question... I was originally on TriNessa and have not taken it for approximately two months now. the day before yesterday, after Intercourse with my husband i noticed some light brown spotting when cleaning up. Yesterday I didn't have any spotting and today it is a darker brown. I have never had this spotting before. My period isn't due until the end of the month.... The most common question I found here is...
Avatar f tn Hello! Sorry this is long, but here is my story... I have a couple questions. I have always had painful and irregular periods. This past July, I went to my family doctor after fainting, vomiting, and having severe abdominal pain. My Dr. had to go deliver a baby, so I lied in the room in horrible pain for a couple hours; when he finally came back in, the pain was gone. He did a pelvic ultrasound a couple days later and found fluid, which led to a diagnosis of a ruptured ovarian cyst.
757137 tn?1347196453 Is it possible to be come addicted to a low dose of Xanax? I take half of a 0.25 mg. pill in the morning and the other half in the evening, It is most helpful but I worry that I will need increasing doses as time goes by, or that I will suffer withdrawal if I quit. Does anyone have information on this subject?
Avatar f tn s 100mg, to put that in prospective when you take aspirin for a headache you take 600mg.
Avatar f tn Anyone heard of low dose immunotherapy for treating lyme and co-infections? Specialty Natural Medicine in WA state offers this treatment for lyme. A detailed description is on their website. It's supposed to divert your immune system away from the bacteria. The thinking is that your body's immune response to the bacteria is what is causing your symptoms and that it is fighting a losing battle. It's a new treatment they say it has great success.

683167 tn?1302879300 the problem with low dose naltrexone is there are no real studies been done to prove its affect ......... I know one person who started to take it and she said it took a while before she noted any affects about 6 months i think my memory isnt good any more. IF it makes you feel better after taking it could it mean that the drug makes you feel worse when you are taking it if you get my meaning? Sorry not very clear even in my head lol. This is a good web site all about it. http://www.

428506 tn?1296557399 I was wondering if anyone else has experience with low-dose (5 mg/day) oral hydrocortisone. Below I describe the role it is playing my treatment. My LLMD Rx-ed this based on my persistent, sometimes disabling, fatigue. At first I didn't take it because I was worried about potential immune suppression, since this is a steroid. But in a follow-up I was assured that this is a super low ("sub-clinical") dose. Plus I am still on abx.
