Avatar n tn My first period after starting Trinessa was late. In fact, I wondered if I was pg again and my son was just a few months old! I want to say it started on the last pill that it started. Since then, it seems to start around day 4 or 5 or the last week of pills, but that first month was weird.
Avatar f tn I have always had painful and irregular periods. This past July, I went to my family doctor after fainting, vomiting, and having severe abdominal pain. My Dr. had to go deliver a baby, so I lied in the room in horrible pain for a couple hours; when he finally came back in, the pain was gone. He did a pelvic ultrasound a couple days later and found fluid, which led to a diagnosis of a ruptured ovarian cyst. Nothing was done after that.
Avatar f tn Everyone is different, but I'd just like to say I did the depo shot and it was terrible. A lot of women tell me they've had a similar experience. Talk to your Dr, but I dont suggest it!
18026835 tn?1462471175 With the first month, my period was scheduled to start halfway through my pill cycle and instead I just spotted a little. And today I am spotting again and I'm not supposed to start for another 3 weeks. I'm very nervous and I don't want to be pregnant since it won't be my fiancée's and I don't want to deal with a baby from that awful situation.... And that situation involved me being on Amoxicillin and I know that can render my birth-control useless... PLEASE HELP!!
20748650 tn?1521032211 I did see some information regarding an interaction between metoprolol and this product, but it pointed to an increase in metoprolol bioavailability, which theoretically shouldn't adversely impact the PVC burden? Anyone have any input or knowledge.. Even similar personal experiences with this?
Avatar f tn I am on Trinessa birth control pills. I was wondering if I could use my birth control pills to start my period about a week early, only because my boy friend is coming home from the military the week that I am supposed to start my period and I don't really want this to happen. Any suggestions?
Avatar m tn My birth control is Trinessa.
Avatar n tn I am on trinessa. It is my first month on birth control ever and usually my periods are about 19-25 days apart. I am on my 3rd day of the inactive pills right now and have still not gotten my period. I originally went on birth control because my periods are so irregular and to protect myself against pregnancy. I took a pregnancy test two days ago just to settle my nerves and it came back negative. I still have not gotten it though.
Avatar f tn If the green pills are the ones you take at the end of a pack when you get your period, then they're inactive and you don't need to take them. Birth control pills have instructions about what to do in case of missed pills, including when you need to use a backup method. Usually missing one pill is fine. If you've been breastfeeding, that can also provide some protection against pregnancy (although I would certainly not rely on just that).
999058 tn?1257563650 About 4 to 5 days later, my fiance and I had intercourse again and afterward, when I went to use the restroom, there was pinkish spotting on the toilet paper. This is new for me. I have NEVER bled after sex before in my life. Not even when I lost my virginity. It wasn't "rough" either.
Avatar f tn I am currently on trinessa and have been for a couple of years. A few weeks ago I was on flagyl for bacterial vaginosis. I continued to take my birth control throughout at the same time every day and did not miss a pill. 11 days after I was off the antibiotics I did have sexual intercourse. Like I said, I continued to take my birth control as normal, and he withdrew before ejaculating. I also had been off the antibiotic for over a week. I am just concerned on my risk of pregnancy.
Avatar n tn i was on the shot for 3 months, my period was acting up. it took me 3 months to get back on it. i just started the trinessa birth control pill a month ago but i feel nauseated, i take it everyday and i am a week late. am i pregnant or is it the pill playing mind games with me?
Avatar f tn t technically have to take them, but I always do to stay in the habit. Well I took the two to make up for missing them along with the new pack with the white pills and have had my period ever since, going on 7 days with cramping and heavy bleeding, but the bleeding has since slowed yesterday. The cramping is different than what I have felt before, not constant. Comes and goes. Should I be alarmed, call my doctor?
Avatar f tn Hey I had a couple questions my girlfriend is late on her period and is on birth control with TriNessa lo and takes the pills she didn’t receive her period yet and is on 5th inactive pill she’ll take a pill late sometimes but folllow up with 2 pills if she misses one from previous daywhat are the chances she is pregnant ?
Avatar f tn t work well if you want to skip your period by taking the packs back to back because the pills go from low dose to high dose of hormones instead of the same level for all 3 weeks. For me, I wanted to stay protected and continued to finish out the pack and went back to respecting the placebo week. My period normalized after a while.
Avatar m tn I REALLY want to avoid this. Is it okay for me to skip the 7 sugar pills and go straight to taking a new pack of birth control, therefore skipping my period?
Avatar f tn It's always tricky to know but would doubt it since you faithfully take your pill. Really, I do doubt it. This is all likely hormonal and your body adjusting to the pill. You can take a test around 2.5 weeks after your last unprotected sex to know for sure! Let us know!
Avatar f tn And also will our little mishap have caused us to get of again? She is also currently taking cephalexin for her cold and trinessa for birth control.... please help with any information you might have, thanks...
Avatar n tn that is what happens be for and after you have your baby and your period i had that happen to me and when i went to the doctor they said that it was old blood that was from my period but if that still happens go to the doctor and see what they tell you tell them that you have that problem and take a pg test to see if you are pleas let me now how it go"s k.
Avatar f tn Irregular periods are normal for women with PCOS. I'm not sure what the significance is about the event with your boyfriend, but from that alone, I wouldn't assume anything related to your missed period unless you're concerned about an STI. I would suggest going to your Gynecologist and discussing how long it's been since your last period. They may run a blood workup and possibly have you do an ultrasound to see if there's a build up of cysts.
Avatar f tn So, the next plan of action was for me to discontinue the use of the TriNessa and the Celexa. After one day of discontinue use, I felt better. I was still having pressure headaches, just not as severe. I was still dizzy, but I could actually make it through a day of work, and I wasn’t crying anymore. Now it has been almost two weeks of not being on any medication. I don’t know if I am having lingering effects from the pill but I am still having daily pressure in my head and dizziness.
Avatar f tn Thank you so much for the advice. i was going to do what you suggested and wait til the weekday to call my doc but then it all kinda went back to normal somehow...i think my body just likes to scare me.

Avatar m tn One doctor put me on methadone and another changed to morphine to get me off and then to fentenyl patches. I went through hell for 5 weeks. Every time my medicine was changed. I have read about Suboxone on the main web site. I understand it is not a cure all, but it is hope. The shape I was in yesterday, I don't think I would have understood anything he said. My niece has been through this with methadone and used this same doctor for suboxone.
