Hi everyone, Well I have been horrible lately I'm so tired I can barely open my eyes is just so bad no energy no nothing I just sit here at work and have just rest my head in the desk cause I'm so tired. Tell me if what I'm taking is making me feel this way please: 8:00am 2mg of sub 3:00pm 1mg of sub 8:00pm 10mg lexapro 900mg of trileptal (mood stabilizer/seizure med in my case I was put on it for mood 3 months ago) 9:00pm 2 tylenol pms I called my psych.

ve been taking Trileptal 300mg and Lexapro 10mg for over six years now and I did well for a while but about seven months ago started loosing my grip on the situation again. Please reply!

Thanks well my sub doctor is the one that gave me the rx fo WB so I guess is ok, and I was taking lexapro and trileptal and it was killing me weigh gain and no energy I mean nothing so Friday I ask my doctor to change it He wanted me to taper the trileptal (mood stabilizer) but of course I didn't listen is been 3 days of those and doing ok started the WB on Sat.

in 2000 i was diagonosed with biopolor disorder i had my assorment of drug theropy i ended with a cocktale of trileptal, trazadone and lexapro when i found out i was pregnat in 2004. They took me off all my meds and have been med free until about 6 months ago when i went completely off the wall...They then put me on lexapro and ativan.. I went to a psychiotrist 3 weeks ago who took me off both of those meds and put me on Seroquel 150mg and trileptal 1200mg.

For the last 6 years I've been seeing my psychiatrist every 4 weeks. For the last 2 years she's been pushing Tegretol on me. That's in addition to Abilify, Buspar, Lexapro, and Tofranil. The last time I was hospitalized for psychiatric reasons the psychiatrist there in the hospital put me on 600mg of Tegretol nightly. I was a zombie for the 6 months that I gave it a full shot.

Hi everyone, I know I have ask you guys about the sub, Trileptal and Lexapro making you gain weight so I ask my psyc. about it and he looked in his little book and said that it is not reported to really increase appetite but there are studies that say that lexapro does but he also said but the pill dosen't weigh 10 pounds so I think you will be ok.

my doctor switched my meds she took me off ativan and lexapro and put me of seroquil and trileptal. i am in sweats all night i have a major headache i am so tired...

m so happy with this post because I been feeling the same way about anti depressants and I been messing with them since I went off the pain pills my doctor put me on lexapro and trileptal and the same problem that ChiChi said so stopped the trileptal and change to Wellbutirin bad decision so now I'm stopping everything I will do the amino acid protoccol and see how that works for me but no more prescriptions for me just sub (for now) and my nexium (I have to have that)

That is what I really want to be, so I got my lexapro change to wellbrutrin and that was not good for me I had a really bad day yesterday. Today I didn't take anything but my sub and that is how I'm going to keep it for a while I'm just so sick of been tired and drowgy all the time and the trileptal was making me feel that way also the lexapro so I stopped those two as of Friday. I wanted to know what do you think about the amino acid?

I was lucky and after 3 procedures have been pain free and medication free for almost 4 years. So I was able to wean off the Trileptal under doctors orders.

It is overwhelming and unbearable. I can't help but just lay in bed and sleep because that is the only time I have any relief is when I sleep. I went to a neurologist and he performed some tests believing that he wouldn't find anything.

s, all the anti manics including lamictal, old antipyschotics and the new antipsychotics, which thanks to them I am now prediabetic. I am now on Lexapro,xanax and tegretol. The tegretol is recent but I am having trouble with restless legs with it. I might mention that I have also had 21 sessions of ECT. Is there anything left for me?? I am feeling pretty hopeless at this point.

Just wanted to ask if anyone has experienced swollen glands and itchy eyes when taking trileptal? I've only been on it now for 3wks and am currently on 75mg along with 375mg of Keppra twice daily. I don't have a rash but am wondering if this is just a cold or side effect from meds. I called the nurse yesterday at docs office they suggested being checked out by PMD, any suggestions? I dont have a fever or any other symptoms? Thanks for the feedback.

Hi, I'm new to the sight but have been doing research on Trileptal and MS. I currently take Trileptal for Partial Seizures (my seizures are well controlled with it) but whenever I miss 2 doses in a row (which I obviously try not to), I experience numbness and tingling in my face and head. I know these are symptoms of MS and I know Trileptal can be used for MS patients to help with nerve issues. I guess my question is should I see my neurologist?

Hi. I was diagnosed with ATN 14 years ago. The pain has been well-controlled with neurontin until 3 weeks ago. I had an exacerbation of pain, most likely brought on by dental work. The pain was an 11 on the 0-10 scale. Since the pain has only calmed down to a 7, my neuro added trileptal with the neurontin. The trileptal is being titrated and I'm at 750 mgs per day right now.

Due to the severe burning sensation I have in my hands from my current MS flare up, my neuro has put me on Trileptal. I have read great things about this med in regards to TN but not much about peripheral nerves. Anyone have any experience with this med for burning sensation NOT on the face? Hope you all are well!!

Dear Sir, Thank you very much for your reply, I ve taken a holiday by the beach i went for swiming walking trying to laugh and forget about my problems and it helped a lot, Now with the calmepam i have reduced the dose gradually i started to take half of the tablet for 5 days then i stopped for 2 days then i started to take quarter of the tablet every two days till i stopped now (almost from 5 days) is it okay?.

After 3 months, I am down to 900 mg of Trileptal, 2 mg Xanax, and 150 mg daily, down from 1800 mg daily of TRileptal originally, and a VERY slow introduction of Lamictal into my system. Of course this happens on the weekend, otherwise I would have called the pdoc by now-- anyway, let me know. Help is appreciated!

Hi I was on lexapro and that is an SSRI and I just stopped all together I was taking 10mg a day for 3 months and I didn't have any problems that I know I was also taking trileptal and I was told I had to taper of and I didn't either and I been of it for almost 2 weeks.

currently 6ml in the a.m. and 8ml in the p.m. (the concentration is 300mg/5ml.) About 2 weeks ago, his dose of Trileptal was increased from 6ml twice a day to the present dosage (because he was still having some mild break-through seizures). Around the same time, his teacher has mentioned that he is not "listening" well to her directions, and sometimes she has to re-explain her directions to him.

I am on 900mg of trileptal and had a healthy baby boy in 2013. I am still on the same meds and currently 10 weeks preggo again. Good luck.

Is anyone taking Trileptal for Touretts and OCD combined. My 13 year old daughter does. Does not help as much as Abilfy but does not have the hunger issue either.

m terrified of this coming back tenfold) and I take lexapro 20mg...and wellbutrin xl 300mg currently. My wellbutrin dose was bumped up a month ago from 150mg...so I'm hoping that maybe that will help me fight the depression crap from this? Just curious to hear of anyone's experience with antidepressants and withdrawals. Thanks guys.

The anxiety is constant and I control it with .5 mg. Alrpazolam (xanax)3x day. I have MS and Fybromyalgia. I take Lexapro 20mg morning, oxybuttnin for bladder at night, 5mg, Buspirone HCL 15mg twice a day for anxiety. Started Namenda 10 mg. 5 nights ago. Is the burning from the Fybro or MS? What do you suggest for the pain and anxiety?

re taking the Trileptal as they serve basically the same purpose and combining them may have more adverse side effects than worth it. I'm not sure about Neurontin's effectiveness against opiate wds but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't do much. It's primarily an anti-seizure med but it's also used for pain relief even tho it has no narcotic properties whatsoever. But again you don't want to take the Trileptal and Neurontin together...
