I have little to no drug insurance. I went to a site which offered discount coupons. I called them to ask them if this is a come on price or is this within reason the price every month. They would not give me an ansewr. Does someone here have any experience with this?

I am not any type of extreme couponer. However, I do my best to use coupons and search the sale ads hitting a few different grocery stores. I like when I look at that bill and saved $5, $10, or $15. I would like to attend a couponing class for extra help. I get my coupons in the paper, and have also asked an elderly neighbor if she would be willing to give me any she doesn't need. I flip through the ads, only pull sheets that have coupons I will actually use, pitch the rest on the spot.

Im 30 weeks and also live in IL but I know that Goldenveiw is also in TX. They have days where you can schedule on certain days and get a discount. Also maybe you can ask a family member to get you a 50 dollar gift certificate at the place of your choice. If your having a shower or even if your not.

You can use your 20% off coupons in the store. I am not sure if they sell the CBE but you should check into it.....maybe get a discount.

Wow, I wasn't aware of Tricor causing elevation of blood sugar. Seems I need to research Tricor a bit more.

I had always said no to statins in the past because I had infectious hepatitis (not any type C, caught it from my younger brother) as a child and feared I had liver damage from that. But when the doctor called after that test I decided I would try Tricor. (fenofibrate I think is what it is) I took it for a month, then stopped, then again a month later took it for a month. Then stopped again. My brother jumped all over me this year and is forcing me to take it.

Hey everyone, are any of you on synthroid and on Tricor? If you have been reading my posts you will have seen that I have been having problems with shortness of breath and palputations, Thinking it was my synthroid I started adjusting my dose. Then I did have a slight problem with peanut allergies. After not eating peanuts, the breathing problems and palputations continued. Valtrex is available at a discount if you visit their website and join up for the coupon list for this drug. It gives you $10 off the RX for Valtrex. They will send these coupons indefinitely as long as you are asking for them. Well worth it and the best drug out there for HSV imho. Try contacting the drug manufacturer for A discount card or coupons. Maybe you can even get a free trial. Can your old psychiatrist give you samPles till you can find out how to get your meds. Have you checked to make sure you can buy it from Canadian pharmacies? When I took it a few years ago and ran into that problem, it wasn't available via Canadian pharmacies... I'm not "allergic" to the fillers in Synthroid or other synthetic T4 medications, but I did much better on Tirosint until it got so expensive I could no longer justify paying $150/month for my thyroid medication (that's what it was back then).

Have they suggested taking a statin? My trigs are actually over 2100. I take Tricor to keep these down.

Just thought I'd let everyone know -- I picked up my refill for Tirosint this morning and the price has doubled, from what I've been paying. I've been paying $85.44 for 3 months; that jumped to $170.88 for 3 months. My insurance doesn't cover it, though it does save me a few bucks ($55 on this refill). I've contacted Akrimax, but don't know if they will respond or not.

Its particularly worse combined with tricor. The pain actually feels like its in my bones at the joints. Also, the additional med that your doctor was talking about is most likely a fenofibrate like Tricor which is commonly added to a statin med. I am on both and they have worked very well for me with no side effects.

There is a very potent medicine in the drug class known as fenofibrates, named Tricor that was created to specifically reduce triglycerides. It works great, but carries the same warnings as statins. Also, Tricor should not be taken with statins but sometimes is in very extreme cases of total high cholesterol and triglycerides. My total cholesterol at the time was 486.

In addition to that of course I have to take a statin and Tricor. Good news is that Tricor will have a generic out in May. I was also told by my pharmicist that Plavix has a generic coming out in July. Ask your pharmicist if there is a generic of Niaspan due out any time soon. And as Flycaster has stated, with the Niacin there is a flushing feeling also. It only bothered me if I didn't take an aspirin just before taking the niacin. My doctor told me about that.

Hi all! I had a heart attack and was diagnosed with diabetes almost a year ago that turned my life upside down. Since the attack and quadruple bypass surgery I've lost my house, car, and can no longer do the work I've been doing for the last 30years b/c of the physical requirements.
