My son, at 8 months, was given the aformentioned med for treatment of excema. The warning my doctor gave was to ensure it doesn't get in his face.My husband and I deployed leaving my mother in law to care for our son. She mistakenly put the med on his face and the area around his mouth is now discolored. He's a brown skinned baby with a huge white patch around his mouth. She applied this med over a year ago and we have been told by other doc that the color would come back in a year.

I'm quite prone to mouth ulcers and quitting smoking made the mouth ulcers happened more frequent.

Thanks for responding. I am aware of its purpose, however l have used it for 3 years and it stops the bumps from appearing. As soon as l get tingling, l start to use it and l do not get an outbreak. I am just healing on a lesion that l did not use it on. I have had this lesion for 8weeks and on valtrex the past 2.

Can someone anyone PLEASE HELP ME figure out this poking itch. This is my third post about this with no response. Going on week 3 now I have had this weird poking itch. It started on my arm right on the opposite side of my elbow on my left arm. It's in one tiny spot. It feels like someone is taking a fox tail and just poking me over and over again in the same spot. After the second week it poking moved to my elbow. There is no marks.

I'm 19 years old. I've had 3 ringworm outbreaks in less than a year, but I'm still not sure if it's ringworm. It always starts out with 1, 2, or 3 small red bumps. All the bumps have a white head and can be ruptured. If i scratch it or rupture the bumps by applying cream, it spreads. It is itchy, but only sometimes. But it never forms a circle. The bumps itself is in a circular form, but it is just a cluster of small raised bumps, not a ring with a clear center.

I have also used a spay I got for my dogs hot spots and it has worked pretty good. I was able to sleep after using it. Natural Antipruitic/Fosters Healing skin care spray. As for my lower back pain they chalked that up to just being over worked from my job. They did find a small trace amount of blood in my urine. They said it could be the start of a urineary track infection. They are gonna send it out for more testing.

I’ve had what appears to be balanitis for 8 months now. I’m uncircumcised. I’ve tried ketoconaznole, triamcinolone, hydrocortisone, nystatin& triamcinolone. Also used basic lotions etc. basically nothing has worked. The most recent dermatologist I saw said that I have balanitis that turned into dermal hyper sensitivity/ a sensitized skin. He prescribed desonide ointment that didn’t work and also prednisone. Gave me some epiceram cream as well.

Seen 3 derms, who all perscribed Triamcinolone for 3 weeks, which did nothing. One of them did a biopsy on a very similae bump on my left thigh which was dianosed as ALHE with no cure (except surgical removal) Itches occasionally, no pain. Any tips, I'd be forever grateful. Don't use Triamcinolone anymore if you can help it as overuse can cause real problems. We read about it here all the time because it can thin the skin. I would try Psoriaflora cream or clear 100% aloe vera.

What does skin atrophy look like? I used a steroid cream Triamcinolone on my face months back. I used it periodically over the course of 3 to 4 months. Now my facial skin looks almost scarred. I can't quite tell if it is permanent scarring or atrophy. Can a steroid cream produce scarring? Is this reversible? How long does it usually take to reverse?

As I had previously experience of psoriasis, I thought I may help it with triamcinolone cream. After using triamcinolone, I didn't have the itch but once I stopped using it, the itch would come back. I injected triamcinolone (1/2 ml in two points) under skin (1-2 mm depth). The itch went but the area remained little red for about 2 weeks. Then the area turned into whiter or brighter (which was visible only in sunlight).
