My son, at 8 months, was given the aformentioned med for treatment of excema. The warning my doctor gave was to ensure it doesn't get in his face.My husband and I deployed leaving my mother in law to care for our son. She mistakenly put the med on his face and the area around his mouth is now discolored. He's a brown skinned baby with a huge white patch around his mouth. She applied this med over a year ago and we have been told by other doc that the color would come back in a year.

I'm a straight male. I have taken a HIV I & II Antigen and Antibody Screening Test 12 weeks after my exposure, which should be considered low risk as I read some of the previous threads here. Unprotected Oral Sex and Protected Vaginal Sex, both insertive to a commercial sex worker. Result is non-reactive.
During the window period, I have stopped smoking. I'm quite prone to mouth ulcers and quitting smoking made the mouth ulcers happened more frequent.
Thanks for responding. I am aware of its purpose, however l have used it for 3 years and it stops the bumps from appearing. As soon as l get tingling, l start to use it and l do not get an outbreak. I am just healing on a lesion that l did not use it on. I have had this lesion for 8weeks and on valtrex the past 2.
I go to this weird Korean skin care place for my bacne. A few months ago, they injected triamcinolone+lidocaine into a few specific acne spots. I started itching like crazy, breathing was difficult, and they let me go home after injecting me with an antihistamine (I imagine). Rash went away after my 3 hour nap.
I have since moved to another state bringing along my past medical records for my new doctor. He said his program does not provide him with Kenalog and so he gave me a shot of Decadron 4 mg every three months. It has been a week since my shot and my allergies are starting to return. What is the difference between the two, and which one is better? Should I seek another doctor or can I go to a clinic and get my shots there since I have my past medical records with me?
I'm 19 years old. I've had 3 ringworm outbreaks in less than a year, but I'm still not sure if it's ringworm. It always starts out with 1, 2, or 3 small red bumps. All the bumps have a white head and can be ruptured. If i scratch it or rupture the bumps by applying cream, it spreads. It is itchy, but only sometimes. But it never forms a circle. The bumps itself is in a circular form, but it is just a cluster of small raised bumps, not a ring with a clear center.
prescribed Fluocinonide cream usp 0.05 by TARO, I also have on hand Triamcinolone Acetonide cream usp 0.1. Are they interchangeable The rash is getting larger and itches as it grows.
I have some itch, is Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP 0.1% a good cream for this? Are there any side effects to this cream?
I’ve had what appears to be balanitis for 8 months now. I’m uncircumcised. I’ve tried ketoconaznole, triamcinolone, hydrocortisone, nystatin& triamcinolone. Also used basic lotions etc. basically nothing has worked. The most recent dermatologist I saw said that I have balanitis that turned into dermal hyper sensitivity/ a sensitized skin. He prescribed desonide ointment that didn’t work and also prednisone. Gave me some epiceram cream as well.
Seen 3 derms, who all perscribed Triamcinolone for 3 weeks, which did nothing. One of them did a biopsy on a very similae bump on my left thigh which was dianosed as ALHE with no cure (except surgical removal)
Itches occasionally, no pain. Any tips, I'd be forever grateful.

Don't use Triamcinolone anymore if you can help it as overuse can cause real problems. We read about it here all the time because it can thin the skin.
I would try Psoriaflora cream or clear 100% aloe vera.
What does skin atrophy look like? I used a steroid cream Triamcinolone on my face months back. I used it periodically over the course of 3 to 4 months. Now my facial skin looks almost scarred. I can't quite tell if it is permanent scarring or atrophy. Can a steroid cream produce scarring? Is this reversible? How long does it usually take to reverse?
So last night I felt some itching on my vulva. I scratched and this morning it itched worse. I've been on my period for the past 4 days also,wearing a pad.I've been in a monogamous relationship for4 years and have unprotected sex with him(both been tested 4hiv and sti's:negative) so I remember when my daughter had these bad diaper rashes her doctor perscribed her nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream usp. And her diaper ras would vanish in a matter of HOURS.
As I had previously experience of psoriasis, I thought I may help it with triamcinolone cream. After using triamcinolone, I didn't have the itch but once I stopped using it, the itch would come back.
I injected triamcinolone (1/2 ml in two points) under skin (1-2 mm depth). The itch went but the area remained little red for about 2 weeks. Then the area turned into whiter or brighter (which was visible only in sunlight).
Everything was on outer areas only. I found out my boyfriend cheated on me with multiple people, got tested for STDs, and came back negative for everything. It's been about a month and the bumps did not spread, hurt, blister, etc. They look like pimples but with nothing inside them- just raised skin. If I pop one, it bleeds for a few seconds and then stops and that's it. No pain, burning, or spreading.
m freaking out. I have been using triamcinolone acetonide for two days now it this is what it looks like. I don't smoke, I don't drink or do drugs. It seems to be getting smaller but now it's starting to bleed...
I have Triamcinolone Eucerin Cream. I need to be able to wash it off my hands. Does anyone know what makes it salulable? What kind of soap?
I was currently using triamcinolone for an existing exema condition in other areas of my body. I called the nurse at my dr's office and she suggested that I use the triamcinolone cream on my face to clear up the reaction. It worked and in the months passing as I tried to get my facial skin back to normal, I used the triamcinolone locally, on occasion if I had another outbreak on my face. I fear that I may have skin atrophy in areas of my face now.
They prescribed me permethrin cream and is safe for pregnancy. Other dr prescribed me triamcinolone acetonide and hydroxyzine hcl. Are those two safe for pregnancy? I mean I look it up and some say it not safe for pregnancy.
I had a reoccurring fungal infection on the tip of my penis that I believe has been cured through oral fluconazole. Part of the treatment was Nystatin/Triamcinolone. For a time I also used Ciplopirox but it made the skin very waxy looking so I stopped that treatment. Now the underside of the Penis is pink in color and sex/rubbing in my underwear aggravates the condition, causing it to burn for a short period and get more red in color.
