tri sprintec and periods

I started sprintec about five weeks ago...I have SUPER heavy periods (fibroids) and actually qualify for a hysterectomy, but my insurance is crap and it would cost me $2600 out of pocket. I also always have.a.BAD case of PMS!!! Anywho, I'm not willing to pay that price for an elective surgery so my Dr put me on Sprintec, but instead of three weeks active/one week reminder, I'm on six weeks active/one week reminder.

I took Tri-Sprintec (which is the same thing as Trinessa) for 3 years and my period almost always came on Wednesday of my inactive week (I was a Sunday start so Wednesday was the 4th day of the inactive pill week). Once or twice it came on Tuesday. It is because it take a few days after the last active pill for your progesterone levels to level out and trigger your period.

Hello, if a person takes their birth control (Tri Sprintec) every night at 9pm, but forgets to take it at 9pm one night and has sex from 930pm to 1030pm, and then remembers to take it again at 12 midnight (3 hours late), is there a chance for pregnancy?

Been on tri sprintec a yr now. i miss 2 pills week 1 and week 2 but not in a row. That was 4 pills missed there. I miss 3 in week 3 not in a row . I miss the last pills in week 3 that was on a saturday. i took it sunday. I had to wait til the drug store open before i started the new pack cause it was closed sunday may 8 so i took 2 pills monday may 9. I always have unprotected sex i dont take them at the same time.

My Doctor switched me however From Tri-sprintec to Aviane on the next pack of pills and I had unprotected sex on the first day of starting those, but once again he pulled out and did not *** at all. Now it is 6 days after I started taking Aviane and I have cramping and nausea. I'm 15 and very worried that i may be pregnant. What do you think? Please no lectures about abstinence though.

I used to take tri-lo-sprintec tablet generic for (ortho tri-cyclen LO) for the past 6 six years, but in Michigan we do not have it in generic form anymore. I'm only twenty-four, so these symptoms have been worrying me quite a bit. I visited my doctor in June, and he ordered a thyroid test. My results were completely normal. hey i'm just starting tri sprintec i have 3-4 pills left of this 1st month and i just got my period was wondering a few things is that normal to get my period when on the pill and how do i know my "new" cycle is and not to be gross but i just did a tune up as i call it and on my tampon was a weird d looking i don't know looked like skin like chicken skin and was a big size i have been having horrible pain in my abdomen and cramps and bloating feels like are the worst ever so a

so Tuesday I took two pills (for Sunday and Monday) and Wednesday I took two pills ( for Tuesday and Wednesday). By Thursday I was back on track and Took one pill. Friday I took one pill and Saturday I took one pill. Saturday night I had unprotected sex. Sunday which is today, I took one pill. Would I have been back on track before having sex on that Saturday and could i have had an increased chance of getting pregnant?
