Could not even sleep at night. After calling him and going back to him he was STUMPED. He said "does your lower back happen to be hurting? I said, YES!!! I keep stretching it." I didnt noticed the back pain before, because the bladder pain was over-powering the back pain.

Avatar n tn He said that the scans don't show any cause for this to be happening and it looks like it is curving in rather than the bone thinning in that area. Keep in touch if you find anything out about yours. and feel free to send me a message in my inbox - I have a watch on this post and my inbox and I recieve an email whenever anyone posts to it.
Avatar n tn There are also a couple of more doctors like him in the country that specilize in treating pain. You might be near one of them. This doctor had an article in the newspaper and I cut it out a year before my husband needed him. God was at work with that one. Good luck.
Avatar n tn Needless to say, doctors are reluctant to perform surgery in the absence of an accepted indication and patients are not interested in surgery when the benefits are explained in the terms. Has your doctor looked for other possible causes e.g. gastroparesis small intestine pathology? Abdominal pain is often a diagnostic dilemna and a multitude of tests may be needed before a diagnosis is made.
149675 tn?1416676733 My mother started the first Fibromyalgia group in Dallas...back in 1980's...when nobody knew and/or diagnosed it but the same amount of people had it then that do now. Thank goodness she spoke up...even went to Wash. DC to try to get funding for Fibro research!! I feel she made a difference! Most doctors thought it was "all in her head"...most of the family did too...and still does all these years later. Education is key!!
Avatar n tn I have been diagnosed many years ago with fibromyalgia. I have never had the pains in my rib muscles till after I had children but I'm not sure if that just weakened my muscles or if it is just the fibromyalgia getting worse. The bottom line is, I have read a million and one things that it could be and ways to treat it but the only thing that works for me is stretching through it. I might try cutting back my caffiene and drinking more milk.
Avatar n tn About 48 hours ago, I noticed this heat sensation in my left shin. At first I thought I was standing too close to a heat vent in the floor at work! It is a warm, sort of tingly sensation that lasts 5 seconds and occurs, I don't know, 10 times throughout the day. I wonder if I slept on the leg funny?? Stress?? I am 43 and in reasonably good health but seem to be a hypochondriac (spelling?) at times.
Avatar n tn Marty has been told that there is no more point in treating her cancer....just live in peace! Each day is a blessing for some of us. Others act like there's "no tomorrow".
Avatar n tn Sometimes it seems that it comes on later in the afternoon almost routine and then it sometimes happens out of the blue in the morning. I try to change my underwear twice a day and don't wear any underwear at nigh for bed. I'm not sure what triggers this...I know about 2.5 years ago I got a really nasty vaginal infection..Then it was treated and I've been tested for STD's all negative. I sometimes wonder if it came from the boyfriend at that time.
585414 tn?1288944902 ), doing passive aggressive or hostile pranks (in the past), self medicating with natural remedies (in the past), drinking large amounts of caffeinated beverages (in the past), overstating my important/thinking I could "change the world", unable to concentrate on tasks but becoming obssessed with something unimportant. Right now I am to the point where I can spot this and catch it before it gets worse. Can you? What happens with you? Can you stop it? And could you learn?
Avatar n tn My buzzing started 5 days ago on my 43rd birthday and like many of you, is located primarily in the left pelvic area. I find it interesting that it occurs in men too as I thought perhaps this was my biological clock literally going off! (I have no children). I have had radiation done but more recently - in the last year - lower back surgery for a bulging disk. I see my surgeon today for a check-up and will mention to him and definitely post any findings.
Avatar n tn I don't have allergies of any kind and I'm in excellent health and I can learn to live with the smell of fresh baked bread in my nostrils.. I mean it could be owrse.. still I think I should get someone to check this out especially as I read about Phantom smells being a possible side efect of brain tumors...
Avatar f tn Reglan (metoclopromadine) is a very cheap medication, unfortunately, it is also metabolized in the kidneys, so a too high dose results in toxic levels in the blood. My husband and I discovered that completely bypassing the GI tract by using reglan injections worked much better in the end. Chica didn't get the extra pyramidal side effects (extreme restlessness, shaking and trembling) from the reglan injections that she got from the oral meds.
