Avatar f tn There is a black box warning of taking Tramadol (Ultram) with any anti-depressant on the market. Tramadol induces serotonin release, and inhibits the reuptake of norepinephrine. SSRI's (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor) or antidepressants also increase the serotonin levels. If both medications are taken together, you may experience serotonin toxicity. This can be fatal. Responsible physicians should not prescribe them together.

5093508 tn?1390543931 I was put on 150mg Tramadol SR to be taken in the AM. and another in the PM. Also I am to take 50mg Tramadol 3 times daily, for breakthrough pain, as the 50mg is a fast-acting capsule. After 4 days, though it helped my arthritis pain a little, I began feeling a bit anxious, worse each day I took it. I've suffered with horrific anxiety/depression last year for over 6 months and never want to get that bad again.
4753943 tn?1359934569 I am taking welbutrin SR and just increased my dosage to 200mg about three days ago. (today is my fourth dose) I've noticed my muscles have a tremor/shaking issue...For instance when my wrist is in the relaxed position my hand is fine. Once I lift my wrist, my hand starts shaking rapidly. Is this normal or something I should be concerned about? Please help, I'm kind of nervous.
Avatar f tn Get yourself a pain pill 100mg SR(TRAMADOL) and take a anti-inflamatory 400mg(INZA) with that, and a musle tension relaxant pill is always welcome.Limit yourself to maximum 40 pain pills per month and the anti-inflamatory you can take every 12 hours with a musle relaxant.Warm baths and physio also help. Tramadol are prescription drugs, and anti-inflamatory you get over the counter.Get advise from your doctor.I did find over the time that your body get used to a type of medicine.

Avatar f tn So I am trying to quit tramadol iv been a addicted to it for over a year now. I don't know how it happened I started taking it for migraines and iv always had horrible depression and anxioty so when I take it it calms me down gives me peace and I had a rough childhood with my mother abandoning me at the age of 8 years old. I liked the way it numbed me to not feel any emotions.
Avatar m tn I'm on 90mg Erfa and just introduced SR T3. I cannot get consistent temps no matter when and how many I use? For example I used 3 7.5mcg T3 and temp rose to 97.33 it then went down to 96 around noon after I took 2 MORE! This morning I took 4 SR T3 with 90 mcg thinking I need to take more in the morning but instead it was lower than the morning before when I took less and which was 97.33F. Ive been searching the internet as to some kind of protocol to follow but dont find much information.
3184829 tn?1344691676 Since then I have had a 6 year history of taking tramadol (150mg sr x2 daily) Never abused It and I was always up front with my doctor. 619380 tn?1339798596 Doctor put me on rythmol sr and aspirin. How can I pass all these test and have it hit me? I have complained of weakness in the past and wonder if that might have been a sign? I'm worried about taking a afib drug and are curious about anything I should worry or look out for.
1476727 tn?1287216539 My GP put me on 9 Gabapentin tablets per day, which I was unwilling to do, but have compromised with 6 and have been taking them regularly. I am also on Tramadol SR and Lodine SR, HRT [I am pre-menopausal age but had to have a hysterectomy when in early 30's for severe endometriosis / adenomyosis] and eye drops for Sjogren's syndrome.
Avatar m tn He really has been a life saver for me and he has kept me laughing and I cannot stress how important this on. Ok my addiction to tramadol would probably be considered very heavy, my tolerance had gotten so high that I had to take a ton to stop my shoulder from hurting.
Avatar n tn I've been on Wellbutrin XL 150 mg for about 6 months...I recently started taking once a day SR...to me the SR is less effective...I don't fell anything...it doesnt really feel like it curves my depression. I only tried it to compare the difference...I prefer the 2x a day I feel much better and actually feel it working...thats just my personal experience...however when I talked to my M.D. the switch wasn't harmful I guess its the chemical reaction to ur brain/body...good luck!
176495 tn?1301280412 Had to go to my doctor yesterday due to a recurring headache. First time I've had a chance to tell him I've been off of Tramadol for nearly 3 months (he wanted to put me on them again for my headaches)..I told him "no" and why and he repeated the mantra that tramadol is not addictive. "perhaps not when used as directed, but I can tell you case after case of people i know who have become addicted to it and go through worse withdrawls than many other opiates.
Avatar n tn My husband was taking Wellbutrin sr 150 the doctor upped him to 200 sr and they gave him buprion 200 sr(on the bottle it says just Bupr). He had lots of energy on the Wellbutrin sr150 and was a pleasure to be arounds, but on this 200 buprionsr he goes to sleep and is like snappen at me all the time. After reading some of these questions I am worried that things are going to go back to the way they were before he started taking his meds.
Avatar f tn Is anyone getting ringing in the ears from taking Generic Wellbutrin(Bupropion sr ) 150 mg. Here is my situation I have been on amitriptiline 25 mg 4 years then went up to 50 mg for 3 years. I started taking only one 150 mg of bupropion sr this is my 5 day. Can I stop taking the amitriptiline with no withdrawls after only 5 days of Bupropion? or has it not been long enough. I hoping that I can stop the amitriptiline by taking the bupropion sr in place of the amitriptiline.
Avatar f tn For codeine, this is morphine, and for tramadol, it is the M1 metabolite, O-desmethyltramadol. The closest chemical relative of tramadol in clinical use is venlafaxine (Effexor), an SSNRI. The two molecules are nearly identical. Both tramadol and venlafaxine share SSNRI properties, while venlafaxine is devoid of any opioid effects. You don't want to be addicted to Tramadol but used wisely it can smooth the withdrawal symptoms of Effexor extremely well.
