I do have experience with the tramadol but never had this kind of side affect. I agree that you should talk to your doctor about this to be safe, before your surgery. I thought it was a problem with my heart so i called a ambulance and they done all the checks on my heart and i was fine. t is side effects to tramadol. Today i still feel weak and sickly and a little bit spaced out. How long does tramadol stay in your system for its been 18 hours now so frustrating.
in my lower spine and have been on tramadol for 2 years, then Targin (6 weeks), then oxicodone (2 weeks) and now back on tramadol since I had severe side effects with targin and oxicodone (panic attacs, depression, nausea and difficulty breathing) and have now decided to wean off the tramadol mainly because the difficulty in breathing and the associated panic attacks have stayed with me.
m grateful that this drug saved his life but the side effects are terrible. I can put up with constant urination but he's really having trouble settling at night. I'm already feeding him more to help settle his stomach but every night just as we're going to bed he'll bark to be let out only to just lay down outside (he never used to do this).
This will go on a few times before he finally goes to sleep. Often times he'll do this again at about 2 or 3 in the morning.
When I started treatment they warned me of the side effects, flu like symptoms, depression, headaches and all that good stuff, but the treatment wasn't too bad, they started me on an anti-depressant and medication for my headaches. But for the last yr or more I have been having the flu like symptoms, major body aches mostly in my upper torso, back problems and I have had every test imaginable done to figure out why I am in so much pain everyday. Some days are better than others.

Tramadol could raise your heart rate, and Synthroid does elevate the metabolism, However Thyroid Disease is a Cause of elevated BP and Cholesterol levels, Si I doubt that the medications are responsible for your increased BP, I would advise sharing your concerns with your MD though.
Taking too much opiates for you to handle can very well make you nauseous/puke. And decreased sexual drive is another known side effect of opiate use. There is definately a chance your boyfriend is using opiates.
I called the Drs office today and he said these symptoms could not be from the med. I did research possible side effects a couple of days ago and these can indeed be side effects. Now, I'm not sure what to do. I was hoping he would recommend another med to try because on top of the stomach pain I'm having the bladder pain, tiredness and weakness. I guess my question is this. Has anyone had these side effects and if so did they go away?
t work. Now she prescribe tramadol. I have read bad things about it and its side effects. Everything is dated from a few years ago, so I would like update from anyone that is taking it. I was prescribed 50mg/4 times a day as needed. I have read that it causes drowiness but people state that it actually gives them energy (I have insomnia- also on my 3th medication because Ambien, Lunesta didn't work. Now on Tranzodone). I am not weening of my wellburtin from my depression, which has subside.

So I did some more research on Tramadol. It looks like it's also been given to people to help with Pre-ejaculation. What I don't understand is why isn't this side effects listed under the side effects.
Over the past few months I have mentioned that I think the Tramadol is causing a whole load of side effects but he said NO not to his knowledge does it cause joint and muscle pain and eye problems and I somehow have a feeling that he will tell me to just stop taking them if I feel that way....look I could be wrong and he may well help me come off them. My question to you is PLEASE tell me how your doctor has helped you withdraw from Tramadol?
Tramadol works on our(humans) receptors just like narcotics do. For humans it is probably the worst drug to come off. In some countries Tramadol is now listed as a controlled substance. Seizures are a side effect. Just wanted to get that out here. I have no idea if it affects animals the same way, i hope not.

I thought that I might be overreacting, that it could just be side effects of stopping birth control or that I was just ovulating for the first time on months. Then I thought, my boyfriend and I were "together" on December 8th and 13th and almost every day since. I have taken home pregnancy tests but they are negative. However I know there is a high possibility that its way too early to tell. Anyway, any advice would be very appreciated.
