Ok so..ive been taking percocets n tramadol. the tramadol is 4 my back the perks r just cause i want to. I knw im addicted to both i want off the perks but the tramadol ive been taking 4 abt 5yrs n i take them everyday but i dnt abuse them i only take 2 50mg per day. I reduced to 150 mg from 400 mg daily, the other day I tried a bigger dose (300 mg) but this blows my blood pressure and then I have anxiety attacks by night, I'm taking a med for high blood pressure, I'm no hypertensive but this happens to me since the DXM incident. I take Wellbutrin XL 300 mg once a day and Tramadol 50 mg. every six hours. I have not noticed any side effects at all using these two together. Also don't notice any difference in pain. I wiened down to 2 a day in 2 months, The got some oxycodone and wiened down to 2 a day, Then got some hydrocodone and wiened down to 2 a day. Hi jj and welcome, It's against the forum policies to provide tapering schedules. It's way too dangerous to do that given we don't have your medical history. Have you spoken to your Dr. about what you're planning to do? They would be the best resource to get a good tapering plan in place. Good luck to you!

I was on tramadol for over 4 years and reached tolerance at the max dose of eight 50 mg tablets per day. The tramadol worked so well in the beginning but by the end, it only took the edge off of my pain for 15 minutes tops! It was horrible. Hi, I had arthroscopic ACL reconstruction 5 days ago and was initially prescribed Percocet (5 mg oxycodone 325 mg acetaminophen) for pain. Now that my pain has lessened, I only take it at night because it makes me fall asleep almost instantly. Physical therapy is painful and ibuprofen doesn't help much, but I dont want to take percocets during the day so my dr gave me a prescription for 50mg tramadol, which I have never used before.

t think there is such low dose as 10 mg, I heard of 50mg minimum, so if it is 10 pills a day no matter how many mg each is is a strong dependence he is on, the more mg the worse it is. It is not my intention to scare you, but those are hard facts. Unfortunately not too many doctors are aware of How addictive or how bad dependence can create the Tramadol.
