Avatar f tn I have NO W/D from the norco if I take the Tramadol, but the Tramadol keeps me awake and my mind races at night when I take it. So for many doctors when Tramadol was first being used in the US it WAS being advertised by J&J to be non-addictive.. but not because J&J was being untruthful, but because the original pharmaceutical company Grünenthal GmbH out of Germany published untruthful facts about it. Seems like SO many "BAD" drugs came from Germany..

Avatar m tn I fell in the same trap after beating a percocet/vicodin addiction and thought tramadol was safe. I have had way more trouble kicking the tramadol than I ever did vicodin or percocet. I curse the day I got my first tramadol prescription and if I had known then what I know now I would have never swallowed one. Please read as much as you can and make an informed decision. My opinion is it is the worst medication I have ever taken....
Avatar f tn I've been in your situation before - when I moved from Florida to Utah, I couldn't get into a doctor soon enough and even with 8 months of pain management records, the local ER gave me 1 days worth of 30% of my dose - for care over the next month while I waited to get into a local pain management doctor, I was referred to a methadone maintaince clinic for PAIN MANAGEMENT... All thanks to the failed war on drugs.
Avatar m tn In Germany, GPT scores are also referred to as SGPT and ALAT. The english-speaking world usually refers to it as ALT, and less commonly, SGPT. Your GPT (ALT) scores are fairly high. A healthy score person would score in the 20s or less. Most labs indicate that up to a score of 45-50 would be considered normal. Anyway, in your case, it has remained high for a long time. They should have tested for HBeAg and HBeAb by now.
Avatar f tn Hi to everyone. I'm wondering if here is someone from Germany, we have spring 23 now. I am female. I live near a center for rare diseases. I am in contact, we talk about TMAU, which is related to it in my opinion. Wouldn't it be good to connect? But i'm also afraid, don't wanna get into trouble, this is all difficult enough.

Avatar f tn I am wondering how high is the rate of hiv-2 in Germany? I seen someone say once they were at a clinic in Germany and the doctor there said they never had one case of hiv-2 but I don't know if that comment is real. It wasn't sex with someone that is in the US that is why I'm worried. I took a 4th generation of hiv and it came negative but I'm worried maybe it ain't showing.
Avatar m tn I wanted to know more about your protocol and average pricing in Germany because I am considering going to Germany to pursue my treatment regarding the US price and the difficulty to get a visa for a chnonic lyme over there. My current docteur, Docteur Raxlen accessed the overall treatment I need up to 12 months. I know is a REALLY good doctor so I don't want to make a bad move....
237053 tn?1258828426 Have any of you heard of this test or had it done? Suppoesebly it's far more accurate than the Elisa and WB's. It isn't done in the US yet, but is done in Germany. I've just learned that the LLMD I'm about to see uses this and IgeneX for his testing. He also does the CD57 from the same lab in Germany. Here is the website for the Lyme center http://www.b-c-a.de/index.php?id=85&L=1 or you can google search LTT ELISPOT Augsburg Germany.
