They said they may inject into the facets in 3 months, but they cant at the moment as the area is to painful to touch at the moment.

Avatar f tn It is a little dangerous for me as I work with Horses and do Farm work,,,,is this going to start to go away soon and I am starting to feel a little sick to my stomach again ? Any Help or encouragement >Been there Done That Stories?
Avatar f tn I have owned and rode horses all my life. I am having difficulty coping with not being able to ride because ppl told me I cant. Is it seriously that big a deal to ride? I don't want to hurt my baby, but it's literally the only thing I have done for myself and can't deal with giving it up for so long...
1532707 tn?1312155924 s office called in some tramadol but I can still feel my back locking up in horrible spasms. With this tramadol and balcofen. Tramadol makes the pain less but my back is still locking up and its still painful. I am thinking about going to a pain Dr now but I'm scared. And desperate! I don't want more pain meds I want something that will make my muscles relax so they won't cause pain. Does this sound logical? What do I do? I give up on my neuro and pcp.
723959 tn?1314744225 I finally had my Fibromyalgia diagnosed last Friday, after over 30 years ! I used to work with horses & I miss it loads I also was a market trader for 6 years & a biker. It is tough to live with, but the right meds do help - I have Tramadol for pain & Amitriptyline for my muscle spasms & sleep problems. Also the use of a good diary & a calender is helpful you may get a bit forgetful.
Avatar m tn Now i no longer plaster for a living there really is no need for me to keep taking Tramadol. mostly i would take 2 (50ml) x 3 times a day Tried many times to come of them with no success would always reach out for one as soon as the sweats started, probably for the past 3 years ive been talking about coming of them but never really committing to the course until now.
Avatar f tn The doctor gave me Tramadol for my endometriosis pain. I have a full week of almost intolerable pain every monthl. Tramadol is one of the few drugs I can tolerate with regards to nausea (Vicodin et al seem to just make me puke immediately), and it does actually manage to relieve my pain fully or at least 80-90% (when I mix it with Aleve). The problem is this. I have to admit that I enjoy the Tramadol. It makes me feel good. Of course it does -- it makes everyone feel good.
541953 tn?1262586226 I just watched Toby Keith's new movie Beer for my horses. He is so Hot! Love the man, makes me happy tonight. Don't ask what the movie was about I was too busy watchingToby. Guess I am like Vicuser is about Valerie.
Avatar m tn I've been having back pain recently which stems from something that I have had since I was a kid, although it seems to be getting worse as I get older. What will happen is that the pain will start in my back then move down my legs. Sometimes it hurts so bad that I can hardly walk. I've been to the doctors many times, but they can never pinpoint what is causing it. Anyway, the doctor recently prescribed Tramadol for the pain.
2117936 tn?1334693230 hello and welcome. did the doctor give you a taper plan? you cant stop tramadol cold turkey.it can cause seizures. some of the symptoms of withdrawal can be,anxiety, sweating insomnia, nausea, shakiness, diarrhea, brain zaps.
Avatar m tn ve been on it for much of your life so for me Tramadol helps with the little things while maintaining less abuse potential. Everyone is different and abstinence is not always the goal ahead of self care assisted by a drug similar to codeine v full agonist. Plus Tramadol assists to deal with the withdrawal and rehab elements using a far less load than the others for me.
Avatar m tn Have you tried to give up tramadol and had problems with the withdrawal or are you yet to try? How long have you been using tramadol for? I just tried giving it up for the first time yesterday. I took my last pill at 1 am on December 31st and had caved in 19 hours later.... I am thinking I need to taper but I just want to get this over and done with as soon as possible. We can get through this together!!!
Avatar f tn I was successfully addicted to tramadol for many years !!!! As IBK said tell us more tramadol can be just as addicting as other opiates. doctors are big on saying its not addictive but many of us found out the very hard way that was wrong ....
Avatar f tn Have you tried talking to someone about some of your problems. A good friend, your pastor would be great as sometimes our view points are not what they really are. I have been learning alot about myself by going to counselling along with the thyroid meds etc. I have found that a lot of the things that I believed about myself were lies that I picked up over the years. As I realize the truth it is freeing me to view my life in a more positive manner.
Avatar m tn t think the Tram Warriors on MedHelp that we hear from are those that were put on a short term, 5 day, controlled step down script for Tramadol. The potential for addictiion to Trams after being addicted to another opiate is VERY REAL. And we need to KNOW all we can on our new road to recovery....be aware of pitfalls and misnomers out there. Your situation seems to be different than most I've read on here. The use of this 5 day plan is NOT what many others on here are even talking about.
Avatar m tn Do not substitute Tramadol for hydros. Tramadol is extremely addictive and some here have said they are more difficult to withdrawal from than some other drugs. You can find many threads about the Tram withdrawals. I would just stay the course the way you are now. It will be difficult for awhile, but SO WORTH IT!!! Good luck and you are in my prayers!!!!
Avatar f tn I am currently 29 weeks and 4 days, and for the past 2 weeks I've been having charlie horse cramping in my calves that wake me up out of my sleep. They are very painful... and I was wondering if any other moms out there ever had this happen to them. I called my doctor and they ordered some tests stat.
Avatar f tn (10-15 a day). I have a script for 15-50mg tramadol. Should I use the tramadol to help ease the lortab comedown? Will it even help? Or should I go cold turkey? I've read other posts about tramadol, and don't know which way to go. I do know I want my life back, and I can't afford the down time of the painful withdrawls I get. Experienced advice would be greatly helpful.
Avatar f tn I am 32 weeks and now I am getting really bad charley horses. Do any one else has this problem how do you solve it?
Avatar f tn Having horses for many years I am certain it's fly allergies. You can put a fly mask on him during the day and take it off at night. If you are boarding have the care taker feeding the horses take it off for you and put it on in the mornings if your not there. In his morning grain you can give him benadrill about 4 pink pills once in the morning with his feeding or evening if he eats grain in the evening hours.
Avatar f tn Why is it that when pregnant you get more charlie horses that hurt ten times worse then when your not Pregnant? And how the heck do I get rid of it cause I burst into tears now everytime I get them.
