I have been on several multivitamins for years due to a gastric bypass so I haven't felt any specific vitamins doing anything - however the one thing I have found that supports me and helps me through this "fun-filled" world of tramadol psychological w/d's is exercise.. I work out 3 times a week and use my bicycle to and from work everyday...

Hi Folks, it's been a while since I've been here. Needless to say, I've relapsed in a bad way. Originally I was taking percocet in large amounts a day. I would go though a bottle of 120 on 7 days. then I started taking roxycodone. 30mg 4 to 5 times a day. Well I find myself on a roller coaster ride because some day I can get them and others I suffer. I have decided and enough is enough and can't take the ups and downs anymore.

I was only on Zoloft for a month. I stopped cold turkey because I didn't like how they suppressed my real emotions. It wasn't a problem stopping cold turkey for me. I'm only temporarily using Tramadol to help with my Vicodin withdrawal because I stopped it cold turkey and I'm having very uncomfortable chills as a result and the tramadol is helping a lot. I'm only going to be using Tramadol for a few more days until my body recovers from not having any Vicodin.

Was on 80mgs of methadone a day for pain 4 20 mgs doses a day. For over two years.I found out recently that methadone and tramadol is a bad mix is this true? Thank you to anyone that responds.

Hi ribs. I only took Tramadol for a short time so I don't know much about it. However, I know there are people here who have had to detox from it. Doctors seem to think it is non-addictive so they will prescribe it instead of the regular opiates. I honestly don't know if it will set you back or not but please be careful with them.

I had a prescription for tramadol for over 3 years, and it has now run out. I still have access to hydrocodone and tramadol, without a prescription. I'm basically fed up with my whole life and routine revolving around medication. Not to mention, the financial drain due to the addiction. A normal day consist of 4 to 5 50 mg tramadols, and 3 hydrocodone 10s. I have began weening back, and now either take 3 hydro 10s, or 6 50mg trams. Rotating depending on availability.

I can't remember if I asked this before or not but does Tramadol affect the same receptors that codeine does? I swear I need to see the Wizard of Oz and get a brain!

The doctor gave me Tramadol for my endometriosis pain. I have a full week of almost intolerable pain every monthl. Tramadol is one of the few drugs I can tolerate with regards to nausea (Vicodin et al seem to just make me puke immediately), and it does actually manage to relieve my pain fully or at least 80-90% (when I mix it with Aleve). The problem is this. I have to admit that I enjoy the Tramadol. It makes me feel good. Of course it does -- it makes everyone feel good.

It was in the morning and it was my birthday and i fugured what a fun present but my period wasent due for another 6 days , so i took first response digital that i had and i was 100% sure it was negative until i saw YES + ..... I started crying lol i was so nervous !! Cuz we didnt plan it ..

I've been having back pain recently which stems from something that I have had since I was a kid, although it seems to be getting worse as I get older. What will happen is that the pain will start in my back then move down my legs. Sometimes it hurts so bad that I can hardly walk. I've been to the doctors many times, but they can never pinpoint what is causing it. Anyway, the doctor recently prescribed Tramadol for the pain.

I took tramadol once for about 4 days and I went threw bad withdrawls worse then when I was taking Vicodin just be careful.

try and get it down to 2 or 3 per day max - - then you can start dropping the hydro also. This will not be fun nor easy. But it is something that you WILL do at some point for some reason. For some it takes jail or serious illness - - some die. Others take the initiative themselves. Do it now and do it for your own good.

Ribs. Since you haven't been on the Tramadol that long , it shouldn't be that bad. The first time I experimented with Tramadol I went on about a 12 day run, then I ran out and noticed that I felt like crap that evening when I got home. Threw up, and felt very down and tired so I went to bed, and the fun started!! RLS, baby , I couldn't keep still for more than 5 seconds, it was so bad that I had to go get on the couch so my wife could actually sleep. This only lasted 1 night though.

hello and welcome. did the doctor give you a taper plan? you cant stop tramadol cold turkey.it can cause seizures. some of the symptoms of withdrawal can be,anxiety,sweating insomnia, nausea, shakiness, diarrhea, brain zaps.

Get this, its been years ago but my family doc (had the nerve) to write a script for Tramadol 50 mg, one every 8 hours. Cruel joke for a trying to heal Damaged Sciactic Nerve on left side & Sciatica on both!!! I never saw her again.

ve been on it for much of your life so for me Tramadol helps with the little things while maintaining less abuse potential. Everyone is different and abstinence is not always the goal ahead of self care assisted by a drug similar to codeine v full agonist. Plus Tramadol assists to deal with the withdrawal and rehab elements using a far less load than the others for me.

Have you tried to give up tramadol and had problems with the withdrawal or are you yet to try? How long have you been using tramadol for? I just tried giving it up for the first time yesterday. I took my last pill at 1 am on December 31st and had caved in 19 hours later.... I am thinking I need to taper but I just want to get this over and done with as soon as possible. We can get through this together!!!
