I am a seasoned partier and have taken pills for kicks for years as the opportunity presented itself. I drink a lot a beer and smoke pot daily. My knee was starting to feel better and last time I picked up my prescription the pharmacist gave me a hard time I was told had gone thru 280 plus pills. With the Acetaminophen in the Norco and beer issue, I decided to give them up cold turkey. I took my last one Saturday night and am going out of my mind.

I have been taking aprox 500mg Tramadol for aprox 2 months now. I was told that Tramadol could be habit forming but you would not have the withdrawal affects like with Oxy Contin. I guess my question is, what can I expect from using this drug for a short period of time.

Hi aggie: I have never heard of this. Ask your Doctor what might be happening. I would suggest muscle relaxers but not in your case. Alcohol and relaxers don't mix. Please take care.

I was given my first dose of Lyrica last night and I slept brilliantly for once, today I've been very sleepy and when I took a nap I couldn't stand up when I awoke because my hip just flared up so badly I couldn't even walk. Luckily I am in hospital, so they gave me morphine straight away and its feeling much better. I really don't know very much about Lyrica and I'd like to hear what some people have experienced with it.

I told yall I would post what happened with the fast tram taper so.....I stopped taking Roxi on Thur two weeks ago and then took 100mg of tramadol the next day. I felt WD's for a few days but nothing bad from the roxi. Then I dropped to 75Mg of tramadol for a few days and then I dropped to 50MG for a few days and my plan was to jump off from there after 10 days of use.

how can i get through the withdrawls without problems? I have tramadol and flexeril to help is that good? plz help me. if i continue to take this i am afraid its going to kill me.

I then went 11 days without any opiates and taking 25MG or half of one tramadol a day at the end. I was afraid that taking tramadol for so long would cause me to go through WD's again so I took 3 Lortab 5's yesterday although I hadnt felt any WD's symptons so maybe I wasnt really scared. Anyways, It has now been over 24 hours since and I feel fine, besides the normal mental games that come with being clean for 10-15 days.

Wine is only okay after your baby is fully developed in the last month not, "here and there" and beer is not okay. I crave beer all the time but I wouldn't drink a small one I mean what's the point you're not gonna get drunk nor buzzed and it'll just go straight to the baby.

Yesterday was sooo hot I just wanted a beer really really bad with a blunt on the side lol but I didn't I stopped cold turkey as soon as I found at I was pregnant it's really tempting but I know my baby comes before my needs now n I want them to be healthy

Well I asked my Dr and he said I beer or glass of wine a week in the first is fine and second trimester 2 a week and third you can have one glass of wine with dinner whenever... I went by those rules last pregnancy and my son is just fine but I know people freak out about all kinds of things so idk... It's up to you..

okay, so when I drink any type of Budweiser products my throat closes up and my uvula expands to twice if not three times its normal size... When I first drink the beer I break out in hives and then in the morning the throat things happen.. I just want to know what is causing it because one Smirnoff ice was enough to put me in the er... Ok no, just no. Beer does not help with your supply. Dark beer allows for a faster let down but it has nothing to do with your supply. And the only reason this is, is because it relaxes you more. If you Choose to drink and then breast feed it's completely up to you. But alcohol will go to your newborn.

I have been taking tramadol as prescribed since september of 09 but am tapering. Can I take tylenol pm at night to sleep? Will it hurt me to drink a glass of wine? I have hypertension as well that my doctor is not controlling. I am so scared.

I have a plan and some medicines to help that Ive had leftover from previous dr trips. Phenergan for nausea and sleep, tramadol and a few tylenol 3 for when it gets really bad to try and combat some of the symptoms, immodium, pottasium pills for rls..I hope I'm in good shape with these..the sucky thing is that I have a nasty cold right in the middle of this. Cant wait to pass day 4 and realize that I am no longer enslaved to this medicine..

but right now i have the craving for it bad like my mouth is watering just thinking about eating it. is it bad for the baby? does it actually have beer in it or is it just beer for your salt? i really really want it and can't believe I'm craving it but does anyone what it is and if its good for the baby?

Every time I drink beer (even one beer.. actually even half of a beer) the next day i get SEVERE stomach cramps and diarrhea. The last time I drank (half a beer) my nose started running and my eyes got sort of itchy. I believe it was bud light or bud select. I used to be able to drink without any problems until I quit drinking for 3 months. I'm 22 now. This has been going on since July. I have eliminated pretty much everything except alcohol and hops. Beer is made from wheat. Do you get that reaction from bread or anything else? I have a wheat allergy and I would get a sore throat when drinking beer. Get allergy tested from your doc...
