ve been on Effexor XR (300 mg) for about fifteen years and recently decided with my psychiatrist that I would go off it and start Wellbutrin XL. I got on the Wellbutrin (150 mg) and started tapering off the Effexor, and I was surprised at how smoothly it was going. Then I went from 75 mg of the Effexor to nothing, and within two days I felt like I was going to die. I felt nauseous, drunk and hung over at the same time, shaky, dizzy, etc.
Yes interactions can occur between SSRIs and Tramadol related to a rare condition called Serotonin Syndrome. Since you're not having any interactions, maybe your dosages are low enough not to be a problem.
But I agree with the previous post, definitely discuss your concerns with your Pharmacist and contact your Doctor if you feel like you need more info.
does wellbutrin sr cause tingling of the body stopped prozac on the 10th of june and on the 15th i staerted tingling all over,alwso was switched from adderall to ritalin thought it might be the ritalin so i stopped it for awile,but the tingling is bad driving me nuts.
All 3 meds mentioned are class C drugs, which means none have been tested on pregnant women, but have shown to cause defomities or problems in laboratory animals. I would strongly think twice about getting pregnant while being on all of these meds. Ask yourself if the benefits out weigh the risks.

I was a complete nervous wreck when I was first diagnosed with Hep C. However, I just stayed on the Wellbutrin and, as I learned more about Hep C and its treatment and prognosis, I gradually became less anxious. By the time I started Hep C treatment I was still somewhat anxious about side effects and treatment, but I was not depressed.

However my concern is that I have been weaning off the Xanax slowly and steady for about 55 days, and the Tramadol and Vicodin I practically didn't use them since 19 days ago but I'm having since the first week and have become more intense now muscle cramps, at first they were on some points arount my scapula bones in my back, there were formed some "knots" painful and constant, very painful to the touch and frequent migraines.
There are potential concerns about interactions between these two medications but the best thing to do is to discuss this with your psychiatrist or pharmacist. The lexapro made me so lethargic and tired that I ended getting off it and going on Wellbutrin. This is my first day with Wellbutrin hoping it works better then the Lex. Tramadol was really hard to kick because it helped with depression as well but I knew I needed to stop. I am so glad that I no longer am a slave to it where I panicked if I didn't have enough it's the worst drug out there!!

As both Metoprolol Tartrate and Citaprolam are metabolized in the liver, the Citaprolam can increase the effects of the Metoprolol Tartrate causing "bradycardia, hypotension, and complete heart block following the addition of a SSRI, subsequently requiring discontinuation of one or both agents and/or institution of a permanent pacemaker.
Wondering if any of you might know of any herbs we shouldnt take when on meds like xanax,wellbutrin sr,synthyroid,cytomel and hormones////drs dont seem to know nor do the pharmisists..so its so confusing to me..im looking for some natural herbs to take for energy and weight loss!

I am currently tapering off tramadol (4 pills per day will be done on Dec 11th, baby due Jan 16th) and my Dr. prescribed me wellbutrin for the deptression I specifically asked her and the pharmicist if they interact w/ tramadol or any other pain meds like lortab and they said no. Course when I looked it up online it sounds like it may make w/d worse side effects include sweating, nausea anxiety ect....isn't that what is is suppose to prevent?????
