Avatar f tn Hello, my guess would be Trazodone, Lorazepam, Temazepam and Tramadol Hcl.These are the ones on your list that may show up. Different types of tests check for different drugs, so it depends on what they are looking for. As long as you have a prescription, and tell them what you are on beforehand, there shouldn't be a problem anyway.
689267 tn?1235241749 s from the oxys and H even after taking tramadol...i was also given lorazepam when i finally asked for professional help and went to a hospital for detox off of opiates, it was given at .5mgs every 1/2 hr., but while heavily addicted to OC's and Heroin I was also abusing very frequently xanax, valium, and klonopins, and any other benzo i could snort or take to enhance effects or help during wd's, so my tolerance was sky high..but they had to follow protocol(ugh)....
Avatar f tn I'm on my third day of detox off Tramadol. Trying to go to sleep, and I'm very sleepy, aided by Lorazepam. So I lie down and then suddenly feel surges of energy or something shooting through my arms and legs and up my back. It's not painful, but it's frustrating. I feel like I want to punch the mattress and scream. (And that actually does help, for a minute.) Can anyone tell me what this is and how I might relieve it? Thank you!
Avatar f tn I stopped using Elavil and Tramadol (was only on it for a month) Been on vicodin 5 months and the Dr now put me on cymbalta and lorazepam but will not refill vicodin. I was only taking about 3-4 pills a day but dont I need to wein off and will I have withdrawls?? And replacing the vicodin with these other drugs cant be a good thing, can it?? Need some advice quickly if possible.
Avatar m tn m prescribed Tramadol, Clonidine, Mirtazapine, and Lorazepam. I doing very good and have no depression and much less anxiety. (Turns out Lorazepam actually is more effective on me than Klonopin, weird). But has anyone one else had a similar experience? (I understand people have other views/opinions on the use of Tramadol for depression, but please don't post just to tell me I shouldn't be on it.). I am just really interested to see if anyone else out there has a similar story.
475300 tn?1312423126 ve tried over 10 on many different intervals and finally gave up and found a way, for me, that works to handle any of my depression issues. I do however, take Tramadol as it helps me immensely with the aches and pains and actually gives me a bit of a mood boost as well. I do not take the Tramadol that has acet./Tylenol in it. I take just the regular strength of Tramadol 50mg, not the ER. It works fine for me.
Avatar m tn I've been on Zoloft just 1 week so far. Today, I started feeling a little better. I read it can take up to a month to work. I cut my dose of Lorazepam in half to see how I would feel and so far so good. I've been to counseling for years. I think the Lorazepam caught up to me as I'm not getting the benefits I used to out of it. Hopefully, the Zoloft alone will work eventually. Thanks for responding!
439522 tn?1214951189 he told me to ditch the tramadol (ULTRAM). He said it is an opioid (narcotic) and it is NOT a good medicine and has a very poor risk profile...especially for someone like me that is taking an SSRI. AND he said it was just as addictive and just as hard to come off as any other opioid (narcotic) drug. Just wanted to share this with you all. This was my doctor for about 6 years before I went to Mr. Quackhead and I really trust him.
Avatar m tn For example, in natural medicine the thing to add would be passionflower and hops or kava or something like that, which if they work will do what lorazepam does without the addiction problem. There would also be dietary and exercise and meditation changes involved, a whole body approach as opposed to a one remedy cures all approach.
Avatar f tn Is it,and How, dangerous is it to take Percocets and Lorazepam together? My hysband takes both for back pain. He is also on an antidepressant......Should I be concerned?????
Avatar m tn Can you take Melatonin and Nyquil with Venlafaxine ER and Lorazepam, or would that be a big mistake? I need sleep desparately!!!!
Avatar n tn Lorazepam and Ativan are the same medication. Ativan is the brand name, Lorazepam is the generic.
Avatar n tn Suprisingly with the Tramadol I felt vertually no withdrawls. However as Christos stated Tramadol can be quite addictive and cause siezures. I blacked out and got a concussion a few weeks ago, I was alone so I don't know what happened if it was or was not a siezure so please be careful if you take it. I also am taking a regular routine of Ativan. So I can tell you with the Tramadol and ativan I have felt pretty good.
Avatar f tn If there is no contraindication for taking depakote and lorazepam, they may tell you to go ahead and take your normal dose of lorazepam but to contact your doctor ASAP. Make some calls and you'll soon be back in control.......you'll be fine. And either find a new doctor or let this one know that when it comes to medications, anytime they add something or change something......
439522 tn?1214951189 This morning I had the Big D four times in 30 minutes and it was just like days 2 and 3 when it was really bad. It was JUST like day 2 and 3...even with the yellow "foam" coming out. Sorry to be so descriptive. Any thoughts on this? Nausea, too...more than I've had on any other day. There are a few things I'm thinking here that could cause this. 1) I quit the tramadol (was on 1 to 4 a day for two weeks) on Wednesday.
2206935 tn?1373638605 doctor gave me lorazepam also.will it help me relax and sleep good?? thanks..
Avatar m tn t take the edge off stress and worry and the no sleep. You hit it exactly, heard so many lorazepam horror stories making more uncertainty. I take 1/2 to 1/4 of a 5 mil only at night for fear over problems. my current Dr doesn't seem worried about adverse effects. If it wasn't for the insomnia i would try to tough it out without pills. Have read many of your posts,a beautiful blend of information and compassion.
429209 tn?1224166589 over those 5 years, knew NOTHING about this drug other than it was what my doctor prescribed for me for my sleep issues after trying every other single thing out there on the market, both prescription and OTC and natural....began at .5 mg....because your body gradually builds up a tolerance to this med, it takes more and more to achieve the same goal....so after five years, i was taking 3 mg and even that wasn't helping as much anymore.....knew it was time to get off of them....
142722 tn?1281533616 He called in Lorazepam. Is this med. addictive? It is for my bipolar. He said it was short term. The dose is 1mg and it says to take it when very agitative.
Avatar m tn The script stopped and our mother became miserable with insomnia, anxiety and depression. And we never ever saw the Mom we always knew. My sister and I regret it to this day. Mom died of cancer at 87. At the time she was taking TylenolPM every night for sleep. Her doctors in Florida gave her Ambien for a good reason, she had insomnia. And we had no business messing with her delicate balance of medications prescribed to make her final years comfortable.
6168959 tn?1379392259 HI, I take prozac daily, but still have panic attacks and real unease throughout the day. my doc put me on lorazepam to help with it, and said take @ 1 mg pill 3 times a day....it helps, but makes me so super tired! is this normal procedure for doctors? the prozac is the best antidepressant i think i've ever been on...makes me feel alot like myself if you know what i mean, but why am i having to pair it with lorazepam? am i wrong in thinking prozac is doing such a great job?
Avatar f tn By consulting with your doctor or a psychiatric medication manager. We are not doctors here and cannot tell you how to taper off a medication. But taper you must. Do not just stop cold turkey.
Avatar n tn but on further research into both drugs it shows that the 2 drugs dont mix very well! ive read the antidepressent amplifies the affect of the tramadol! ive been on tramadol on and off for over 5 years from having 14 ops on my leg! my longest period has been the last which has been 15-16 months on tramadol. i started to notice that the days i didnt take the pain killer i felt really low, anxiety and not wanting to do anything.
