I'm worried! My fiancee' has been prescribed Tramadol, which worked very well for him but he has gone through 40 pills in 10 days and the way his dr. wrote his script it says "use 1-2 tablets every 8 hours as needed" so he cannot get a refill for another 2 weeks. He saw a local dr. who prescribed Flexeril, Percocet and Naproxen.
I was just diagnosed with an autoammune disease and don't want to take plaquenil just yet. Doctor said to take celebrex and a muscle relaxer. I have been taking 1 mg of xanax for 3 weeks and before that it was about twice a week as needed. I was having such anxiety and sleep issues rhemy said to take it every day. Now 3 weeks later she wants to try the new coctail of celebrex and muscle relaxer.
I was given flexeril and tramadol for muscle spasms due to herniated discs. The tramadol did nothing for the pain, I was able to receive some relief from motrin instead. I can't take stronger opioids because they make me nauseous. Morphine doesn't work for me either. Are the two medications related?
Okay so, I have been taking tramadol and flexeril for my low back pain as a result of a bulging disc. I've been taking my meds for about 10 months now with some relief. But recently i've been taking more due to the fact that there not working at all like they were in the begining. I wake up every morning feeling like i've been hit by a bus, and it takes me 30 minutes to ease myself out of bed. My pain is at a whole new level, sometimes its sohard to even walk anymore.
I was once given tramadol and cocodamol together in hospital, and take them together regularly now. However, the tramadol must NOT be the type which is combined with paracetamol, as then you would be overdosingon paracetamol. What you don't say is what strengths you are talking about. I take cocodamol 30mg two tablets, which is extremely strong. There are cocodamol mixtures with less codeine phosphate in them. Personally I take the strong version and add in one 50mg Tramadol.
Taking methadone and Vicodin together or taking methadone and heroin together is not "fine". Not sure where you got that information or why you're asking?
ve been dealing with major back and neck pain for the last week. Yesterday around 11a, I took a 5mg Flexeril and boy did it do wonders. After a brief nap, most of my pain greatly subsided. The following hours, about 10p, I did see an uptick in stiffness but nothing compared to the pain before the Flexeril.
I know Flexeril has an unusually long half-life, about 18 hrs.
The only thing I am aware of is Ibuprofen 800 mg every 6 to 8 hours. I am not a doctor, just a patient.
Have you tried to take the muscle relaxer at night along with the Tramadol and just Tramadol during the day? I used to take all three doses of Flexeril at night about 6 years ago and the pain relief was lasting through most of the next day. I am NOT saying to take all doses of your muscle relaxer at once! Please don't think that as some muscle relaxers aren't meant for that and you can OD. I don't know what type of muscle relaxer you are taking.
need to do own research) i stopped all med for 48 hrs and tramadol and prozac permantenly and immediatly began feeling better...i called my dr when i figured out what was wrong and her nurse said she (the doc) doesn't think i had that...i left her and every time i mention this story to docs i encounter they are blown away no-one helped me...
