I'm usually really careful about these things and i'm a major germaphobe which makes it worse when I don't stay on top of myself considering we handle specimen on a daily bases. If only you could see my PPE(Personal Protective Equipment) at work it would probably make your day.

Avatar m tn After the blood was drawn, I noticed that the lady who was drawing the blood put the needle and other equipment to be disposed of in a yellow container - presumably, a hazards container. However, I noticed that she definitely touched the container and the top of the container where the opening is for the sharp objects etc. to be dropped through. She then went to put a bandage on me using the same hand with the same glove on her hand.

I usually default to trying triple antibiotic cream and/or cortizone cream on rashes to try to clear them up myself before consulting a doctor.
