sleep

Avatar f tn I've been feeling like I'm getting to much sleep too I don't get to sleep 12 hrs bc I have an almost 2 yr old but I feel like i could very easily. This is my fourth baby and I've always felt so tired with each pregnancy but this time is the worst! I have an appt. Tuesday and I'm going to have the doc see if my iron levels are low or what else could be causing my extreme tiredness. I'm tired of being tired lol.
Avatar f tn It will tell you a wealth of info. regarding your sleep quality. Your primary care doctor should refer you to a sleep clinic to help diagnose this sleep problem.
Avatar f tn I know what it is like to get jipped out on your REM and I dealt with that for too long. You feel sluggish, unmotivated, tired and lazy. What helped me and what I suggest for you is this: Exercise. Your doc is right. And it's been long and ancient knowledge that even 30 minutes of moderate exercise (jogging, going for a brisk walk) releases endorphines and other "happy hormones" that keep your body functioning at its best.
Avatar n tn That is very normal in the first trimester. I would sleep 12 hours and still feel tired. When your body gets used to the hormones you won't be feeling so tired. Second trimester is the BEST. You'll have energy and feel great.
Avatar f tn Anyone else feel like they are sleeping too much.37 weeks and 5days. After i get my son on the bus in the morning I come home and sleep till noon or 1 in the afternoon... I'm always feeling tired. Just wondering if anyone else feels that way.
Avatar f tn I nap during the day and it makes me feel soo much better, my mood is worse if I don't nap :/
Avatar f tn ) growing a baby is a lot work! Lol get as much rest bad you can before you get too uncomfortable to be able to sleep :( I'm 37 weeks and I can't asleep well at night anymore I'm lucky if I get to nap ...
Avatar f tn But i would sleep all day pretty much, after 2 hrs of being awake, i wanted sleep at 6 weeks. Now im 9 weeks, still tired but had a burst of energy and turned my house upside down cleanng it for 4 hours. I had nausea real bad it would keep me up at night, the only thing that helped me sleep with nausea was hanging 1 arm off the side of the bed in attempt to throw off my equilibrium, an i was out like a light. Also, drink water religiously!!!
Avatar f tn I've been the same way, I think it's either way. Some women can't get to sleep whereas others can and sleep even more than usual...
Avatar f tn No matter how much i sleep i always feel so tired almost 8 weeks along
Avatar f tn Sleep all you want. You need to rest, besides you won't be sleeping much at all when the little one comes.
Avatar f tn Same here...
1472764 tn?1287588186 I'm 18 weeks and I think I did way too much this week. Closed down my media center for the summer, went to two all day professional developments, cleaned house for two days, and then did a lot yesterday. Not to mention I haven't been able to sleep. So today I woke up a little naseaus and really, really tired. My hips are killing me. Has anyone else had this experience? I'm sitting in the recliner and I am not doing anything today.
4811762 tn?1359942725 i was the same haha in the beginning juss slept i think mainly cuz i was so sick but even wen i wasnt i was juss wanting to sleep...
1221258 tn?1267542429 I realize this is an old thread but in hopes someone is reading. I have taken 3 mgs of klonipin for over 25 years. Really. I went to one of the best Psychiatrists in New York and he clearly told me that I would probably be on it forever. I haven't ever abused them. I know I've accidently taken an extra here and there but other pros. have been fine with me. I have accomplished tons in the past 25 years. I am now in a new location and local docs.
Avatar m tn It seems that I have difficulty concentrating, focusing, thinking when I get too much sleep. For me too much sleep seems to be more than 6 hours sleep. However, if I don't get 7 or 8 hours of sleep then I am tired. If I get 8 hours of sleep then I am not tired, but then I have brain fog, like I'm half awake. I saw a sleep doctor and he didn't think that I had a sleep related problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Avatar n tn MY HUSBAND WORKS FROM 3PM-10PM 4TO 5 DAYS A WEEK. HE GOES OUT AFTER WORK AND COMES HOME AT 3AM AND GOES TO BED. HE SLEEPS FROM 3AM UNTIL 2:30PM ON HIS WORK DAYS. WHEN HE ISN'T WORKING HE SLEEPS FROM 3AM THE NIGHT BEFORE UNTIL 5 OR 6 AT NIGHT. THERE HAVE BEEN TIMES THAT HE'LL SLEEP FROM 3AM THE DAY BEFORE UNTIL 9 OR 10 AT NIGHT.I'M VERY CONCERNED BECAUSE HE STILL WAKES UP TIRED AND IS ONLY WAKING UP BECAUSE OF MY NAGGING. THIS OVERSLEEPING IS INTERFERING WITH HIS EVERYDAY LIFE.
Avatar n tn When she does this, my dog starts to howl shich only makes her continue. I have tried bribes, threats, positive reinforcement, you name it - she will NOT stop making noise. She is very bright but has absolutely no attention span what so ever. She is very cordinated and is very good at sports. How can I stop the noise? This discussion is related to 4-year old excessive talking and strong willed.
3360193 tn?1365871889 My baby is 19 days old and just wants ti be held constantly when he is not sleeping. I'm happy to cuddle and hold him but i dont want him getting into the habit of constantly being held, and don't want him to be wanting cuddled all the time, how much is too much? can you cuddle a new baby too much?
1598028 tn?1297398117 T3 med reaches full effect in about 3 hours, and I think it tails off over the next 3-4 hours, probably coinciding with the time you mentioned you get tired. Not clear when you take your morning and afternoon doses, but you can try moving your afternoon dose a bit closer in time to your morning dose and see if that helps both with avoiding the afternoon sag, and also allow you to be ready for a good sleep later.
302488 tn?1337551241 Have you talked to dr about nausea? There were weeks when I used a med. Makes you a little looney, but for worse case, your dr should know about it and may prescribe something. Also I remember using suppository one week when it was bad. Take care of you...
