so I posted a question on the breastfeeding forum two days ago but no one answered. I am having trouble breastfeeding specifically latchinghow can I make her open her mouth bigger? I've seen a couple of videos and they''ve helped a little. head tilted back chin to my breast...sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't...it is so time consuming. I gave her expressed milk two nights ago but she swallowed it so fast because of the bottles flow I felt bad for her.

Then on the way out of town my tongue was tingling so I looked in the mirror and noticed that when I stuck out my tongue that curved to the right. It stayed that way all week that we were gone. By the time we got back home it was competely normal, so no doc saw this. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Thanks for any comments.

I am terrified. I watched a couple of birthing videos and omg....I just wanna cry and I'm only 9 weeks. uuugggghhhhh.

Soo everyone has been telling me not to watch labor videos because it's going to freak me out but I just watched one and honestly it made me cry it was so beautiful I'm 38weeks+3days and I'm just waiting for my baby girl to get here so I can experience something so amazing

I am 17 and pregnant (please dont judge me) but in my school they are making me got to a class by myself in a office room to sit there and watch videos of.girls giving birth.....ik its not gonna be easy and its gonna hurt BUT i was planning to just go with it when time came since i dont want to be super scared and belive my labor will be like everyone elses (just because everyone is different) ....now i am watching these videos i am seriously getting freaked out...its not like these.

but today at my birthing class they were showing us a bunch of videos of real women giving birth and now im even more scared! instead of helping me and making me feel better about giving birth like it literally has scared the **** out of me. My pregnancy was planned so of course i knew what i was getting into. well i thought i knew what i was getting into lol.

does anyone know of any good birth videos, or websites with videos? Water birth natural birth etc. Thanks in advance ladies.

Am I the only one watching home birth videos on YT? I am soo fascinated how our bodies know exactly what to do when giving birth but at the same time the pain.... oh that excruciating pain! Im 20weeks prego with my second child. I remember exactly how giving birth felt like. I couldnt handle the pain, I needed that epidural so badly. I felt like I was going to die lol. But this time around I want to try going all natural.

So i was curious and started watching videos of childbirth and i am surprised at the amount of pain women seem to be going through, despite the fact so many women go thru it. Obviously is is extremely painful but i am a first time mom and i really want to know what to expect. i know i can do it, i am pretty good with pain and staying calm in painful situations, but i dont want anyone to sugar coat it.. can anyone share their experiences about the worst part of childbirth??

I love watching those videos. Have you seen the breast crawl videos? I've noticed my belly moving a little but not like the movement on the videos, lol.

Make sure baby is latching correct. I youtubed some videos of how to do it and it made a big difference. You can call your doctor and they might have a lactation consultant come and help you! Try a nipple shield they are a few bucks online. But definitely try a youtube video to make sure baby is latching correct, and tips on how to get them to latch better.

Then at midnight, had sudden episode where his entire body froze, he couldn’t move, fell backwards from standing height, hit his head on hardwood floor, and entire body shaked for 20-30s with increased tone. He was conscious and crying, no eye rolling or tongue biting. We took him to ER, he got discharged without any investigations and thought to have a temper tantrum.

Okay so my fiancés mom wants to plan my baby shower but she wants to plan it with my mother now my fiancés mom is not the kindest woman in the world she has a tendasy to say something to **** someone off all the time and my mom is not one to hold her tongue. Now do you guys think it will be a good idea for them to plan it together or would it be best for me to have two separate ones?

Thanks ladies~ 30something13~ I'm taking reglan to bring my milk in and can express some easily (a few drops at a time) but it would be too rough on my skin to try and express alot to fill a bottle. Idk if I can even make that much. I don't want him to lose more weight by me stopping supplementing all together because he eats over 2 oz.

I like the videos as well. Try going to google and typing in how far along you are and it will give you different links for videos and info.

Do any of you ladies know of any good how to take care of a new born videos online or just some educational movies for new mommies and daddies? I know a lot about babies but for some reason I have developed cold feet! my twins could be here any day! I need something to soothe my mind and just refresh everything.
