I, too, have had a slight fever, but severe pain from ulcers on my tongue and on the roof of my mouth. The pain is from the tip of my tongue to the root, palate, throat, and even to my right ear. An MD glanced at my mouth and said I have a few ulcers and offered only some numbing mouthwash. I want to know why this is happening, not put a bandaid on it. Have you gotten information on your similar problem?

i have candida and have a furry tongue and loads of VERY painful mouth ulcers.. does anyone know a way to get rid of these asap as i havent really bin able to eat properly and have tried all the ulcer nd anti fungal medicine i can get hold of n they seem to be getting worse....

I have also gotten a few more ulcers to my tongue and some of my gums are swollen. I have lost 9 pounds since the start of this b/c of the pain to eat. Another symptom that I am thinking is related is that I have gotten a severe area of inflamation around my anus. Does hemorrhoids cause this?? Labs for ANA,B12,CBC,BMP,LFTs were all normal. CRP was 3.5(elevated). do you have any insight as to what is going on?? Nobody has any answers for me. Going to another ENT for second op.on Monday.

I had to stop tx at 23 instead of 24 because of severe mouth sores. I had ulcers on the sides of my tongue and on the insides of my checks. I al so got thoes bumps on the end of your tongue. Anything like Mexican food or pizza burned my mouth real bad. I tried miracle wash- you get from dentist. and I rinsed with biotine for dry mouth. The corners of my mouth felt like like they were burned. Dr. said use cream like monistat. It did help.

A few months ago I noticed my mouth was really sore when I woke up. I looked in the mirror and I had white ulcers on my tongue. At first I was treated for thrush although the docs didn't think it was thrush. That did nothing. I then noticed I had white lacy stuff all over the sides of my mouth, and gums. Basically my whole mouth has problems. I seen an ENT who gave me a biopsy.

I honestly don't know. I had sex with somebody while drunk and I don't think we used a condom. I can't ask him as I don't have his info. m 35 weeks today, the past few weeks my tongue has developed these little ulcers.. ALL (ob, family and dentist) my doctors say they are normal with pregnancy and will go away on their own.. 5 months for HIV, syphillis and herpes all negative. Doctor presribed steroid paste for tongue. When I take it the ulcers on the boarder of my tongue go away only to return a few days later. I am confident I am HIV negative but would like to find out what is causing these ulcers. If you are able to find out please let me know.

I got my tongue pierced about a year and half ago, but I have suddenly got a lot of ulcers in around my mouth and my tongue and gums are swollen and i just wanted to know if that had anything to do with my tongue piercing. my tongue piercing looks pretty normal apart from the fact that my tongue is swollen and the end of it is numb and funny feeling as if i've burnt the to of it.

I always have a white tongue, I drink a LOT of water and I use a tongue scraper everyday briefly but it never seems to do anything. h pylori (4years ago), hiatal hernia, ulcers (small intestine). Blood work has shown inflammation a couple of times. Gastric emptying test showed a slight delay.
