tongue ulcers eyes

I have very recurrent mouth ulcers, a feeling of tiredness,dry tongue and burning sensation in the eyes.I have been diagonised with acidity in the stomach and prescribed medicines taken.(Endoscopy done twice)The symptoms still persist.Is this due to acidity?

I have been diagnosed with UC in 2008. I am currently taking Lialda to subside the effects of UC while I eat. However, I am starting to have other symptoms that I am not familar with. For starters, back in Dec 09, I started developing "ulcers" or sores at the tip of my tongue that would last for 2-4 days at a time. They did not hurt, but were red/inflammed looking. They only appeared once in Dec, again in Jan, and now in Feb it is almost a continuous thing.

I have 4 mouth sores(looks like blister like or ulcer like) on the very back of my tongue. They just appeared out of nowhere today. Is this (mouth sores or sores on tongue) a symptom of Sjogren's Syndrome? Or is it a symptom of Fibromyalgia? Do any of you get this with either Sjogren's or Fibro and if so, which one? I have only been dx with Fibro, so I do not know if I have Sjogren's or not. I just thought this symptom may be an important clue.

I honestly don't know. I had sex with somebody while drunk and I don't think we used a condom. I can't ask him as I don't have his info. Classy eh ! 2 weeks after I get 6 ulcers on my tongue that just won't go, my tongue feels on fire. I read that mouth ulcers where a symptom of ARS and I freaked out. Are they? I know I need to test and I will but these ulcers are worrying me a lot.

m 35 weeks today, the past few weeks my tongue has developed these little ulcers.. ALL (ob, family and dentist) my doctors say they are normal with pregnancy and will go away on their own.. How many other mama's are going through this? & is there something you do aside from watching what you eat, to help? Thank you ladies..

5 months for HIV, syphillis and herpes all negative. Doctor presribed steroid paste for tongue. When I take it the ulcers on the boarder of my tongue go away only to return a few days later. I am confident I am HIV negative but would like to find out what is causing these ulcers. If you are able to find out please let me know.

After my exposure unprotected vaginal with CSW about 18 months ago,I still have muscle aches,headaches,pain in groin area,behind knees,fingers,toes,behind the eyes,ulcers on gums,tongue and cheeks,painful ancles and wrists. My hiv1/2 test oraquick was neg. at 16 months but I am still thinkin that I DIDN'T produce enough antibodies to test. Please tell me If you guys ever seen anybody turning positive after 16 months of exposure.

I got my tongue pierced about a year and half ago, but I have suddenly got a lot of ulcers in around my mouth and my tongue and gums are swollen and i just wanted to know if that had anything to do with my tongue piercing. my tongue piercing looks pretty normal apart from the fact that my tongue is swollen and the end of it is numb and funny feeling as if i've burnt the to of it.

Do you have any other symptoms, ie joint pains, sickness or anything else when the ulcers erupt,? also do you get dry eyes or a dry mouth? when the ulcers are present? Have you had the ulcers swabbed to see if they can pick what viral, fungal, or bacterial cause is. It would be wise next time they come to have them swabbed,at your GP. to try find a cause as why they are recurrent, and keep coming back.

Though, I was wondering if anyone else has had sores appear on their tongue? Just last month, I was washing my hands and noticed I had three red areas on my tongue: two on the tip and one a little to the side. I was reading online that ulcerative colitis can cause sores to appear in your mouth and didn't know if this was a cause for the sores to appear. Now, I have one on the tip of my tongue that just appeared yesterday and today it has a white center.

that is exactly whats happened with me! My tongue is cut to shreads because of my braces and the ulcers are stopping me eating! Dr said to get some mouthwash but it doesnt work! Have you got any answers?

If you have been diagnosed with HSV 1 on the tongue (intraoral herpetic ulcers on tongue), is this something that will continue to reoccur throughout your life as a cold sore would on the lip? Is there anywhere that has info about this as well? Thanks!

ve been negative. I have very dry eyes, some joint pain and ulcers that come and go in my throat (just beyond the tongue), and have lost my energy, always tired but do not sleep well. Is sjogrens tough to diagnose through bloodwork? I'm tired of all the doctors and they probably feel the same way! Help...

gave me meds and it all cleared in a week but now I still have loose stool and reacurring ulcers and my tongue is crazy looking giraffe tongue and it hurts and looks hairy and yellow marks,no appetite till this day and its week 10/11 I got tested 4 weeks and it was negative she got tested 3time at 6 weeks after she cheated negative but one of the test the back round didnt clean but it said negative but they redid it to make sur and I took another test at 7 weeks negative ....

Hi there, I'd be careful using L-Lysine ointment on your tongue. It's meant for sores and ulcers. How long have you had the sore on your tongue? Is the sore on top of your tongue or underneath your tongue? Just wondering.

Doctor please help me, I happened with a sex worker tongue kiss three times, the first two are very intense tongue kiss, but I'm sure my mouth without ulcers and bleeding, but the last time we kiss is not intense, just the slightest contact several times.

I, too, have had a slight fever, but severe pain from ulcers on my tongue and on the roof of my mouth. The pain is from the tip of my tongue to the root, palate, throat, and even to my right ear. An MD glanced at my mouth and said I have a few ulcers and offered only some numbing mouthwash. I want to know why this is happening, not put a bandaid on it.
