I too discovered a sore on the side of my tongue on Monday. ( today is Wednesday ) it is large and really red irritated and it looks black and blue around the edge. There is also one spot that is black and blue on the end of my tongue. I do have a bad tooth or so on that side that need attention and I had the flu over the past weekend and was vomiting quite forcefully.
Have you ever heard of such a thing?
I am really scared right now.
tonight we meet again and he start kissing me but i didnt engaged with him in deep french kissing i just kissed his lips but he gives me his tongue and my tongue touch his tongue and i got a crank sore very quick on my tip of my tongue after touching his tongue and its really burning. for the clarification i diagnosed with herpes type 1 and type 2, also my blood test for HIV and hepatitis was negative. ( this is was before to meet him ) also never had any herpes symptoms before to meet him.

two on the tip and one a little to the side. I was reading online that ulcerative colitis can cause sores to appear in your mouth and didn't know if this was a cause for the sores to appear. Now, I have one on the tip of my tongue that just appeared yesterday and today it has a white center. I'm kinda freaking out if it would just a regular ulcer caused by the colitis or if it is something worse like herpes.
Just yesterday, I noticed a red circular formation starting to appear again on the tip of my tongue and today, it has a very tiny white puss looking bump on the edge of the center of the red circle. I'm starting to freak out it might be herpes, though I do not show any other lesions anywhere and the location seems unlikely compared to other spots herpes could form in the mouth.
I've noticed red dots on my tip of tounge This past Thursday and don't know how long they've been there.. I don't want to go to doctor for something simple so what could it be??
It has turned tongue color over the past few months but a white granny mole skin tag has appeared directly under the tongue at about the same place and is sore because it is located next to the vein under the tongue and is over consistently. Does this sound like an issue from my sinus issues or cancer of the tongue?

I noticed some bumps on back of her shoulder and on her tummy she said those are bug bites got them from camping. After nearly five days of this exposure I have a sore on the tip of my tongue with little white puss (it wasn't a bump). it is small I don't have any pain (just slight tingling sensation when I touch the sore with my teeth) I can eat normally. I am not sure when was the last time I had cold sore on tongue. It is 36 hrs since I noticed this sore.
It looks like most of the red blotches on the roof of my mouth are gone and I think I still have a canker sore on the tip of my tongue (It looks like the size of a taste bud and hurts like crazy). The floor of my mouth, under my tongue, is still a little sore.
Anyway, just wondering if this is something that could have thrown my mouth out of whack. It just seems odd that it was a number of things all at one time.
Is there anyone with the same problem. Swollen, Sore, Burning sensation with red spots on the tip of my tongue. Gives me pain everyday while doing daily stuff like drinking coffee smoking ect. Iv tried different diets , different medication nothing is working. The only time its not sore is when the tip of the tongue is covered with plastic. Please Help!!!!!
The tip of my tongue is very irritated and it is incredibly painful. My teeth are also sore. Especially when I bite down, even if I'm not biting onto something. If I clench my jaw, ALL of my teeth hurt. They almost feel loose. I also have a very sore spot on the inside of my bottom lip in front of my teeth. Right about where the tip of my tongue hits the inside of my lip. Does anyone know what could be causing all of this? Does it sound serious?
Is it possible that my thrush was caused by antibiotics taken more than two months ago?
I took a course of cefixime in February and then in March a course of ciprofloxacin for 10 days and again cefixime for other 10 days. I got a slightly white tongue about one week after finishing my anibiotics.
She gave me a mouth rinse to make it better, but it actually makes it hurt even more, and it usually bothers me more on the side and tip of my tongue. I noticed enlarged taste buds, but my tongue does not have a white coating and it's not red, just on a few small spots. It's very strange and I'm frustrated! Does anyone have any idea what could be? It also has a few "cuts" on top.

My mouth felt a bit sore, but I thought that was from the friction, and also I was feeling a burning sensation on the tip of my tongue and also on both sides of my tongue all the way up where the wisdom teeth are.
On the second day, the same feelings were persisting. The sore throat became more mild, but the tongue still feels as if it was burned and it feels very irritated and kid of feels a bit numb.
In regards to the flat spots on your tongue and the red burning sensation you've had on it as well, you might look into the possibilty of that being glossitis. I myself have a form of glossitis called 'geographic tongue' which is where red flat patches appear on the tongue then go away. It's caused by stress and is a harmless condition. Sometimes certain foods can trigger it as well.
I've had this white bubble on the tip of my tongue for as long as I can remmeber. It doesn;t hurt at all and it hasn't been causing me any troubles, but im worried because I would really like to knwo what it is. I'm really young and I'm not even 18. I haven't had any kind of intercourse including oral. I noticed a small white bubble near my white bubble that I've had for a long time, I'm scared that I'm growing a new one.
there are usually 2 noticeable veins that run down the underside of the tongue. on one of my veins at the tip of the vein, i noticed a small red bump/flap. it lay flat down but you could raise the flap up. It is not painful when i don't move my tongue or touch the bump/flap. but when i do touch of move it, it is very painful. i'm only 15 so do you think this is anything serious?
