I have been getting small white spots on my tongue for about a month now. At first it is a small white spot that over a a few days gets larger. it seems to get larger as the days go by. I always get it in the same spot and it goes away after about a week. It seems to come back within a two week period. i not sure what to do or if i have an disease. Also as the spot gets bigger, it turns red in the middle. I do have asthma and use an inhaler but this has never happened to me before.

ve had this painful small sore under my tongue right at the base in the middle and pain under my chin by my throat and no doctor seems to know what's going on. they look at the sore and say i'm not sure what it is or why your having pain in your neck area let's just keep watching it.
any ideas would be helpful.
In the very begining of August I started to get sore on my tongue. Prior to this I had never gotten a cold sore that Iknow of. In the beginning I was unsure what it was so I accidentally transferred it to my genita area mainly on my buttocks and pubic area. About amonth after the initial symptoms I also got a cold sore on my lip which healed over a week.
Problem is I keep having outbreaks non-stop. One would heal while others are breaking out.
I am 17 weeks and my belly isn't getting much bigger. I feel my stomach betting harder, but I'm not getting much bigger, I have a pudge though. Is this normal? This is my first pregnancy. When isy pregnancy suppose to really start showing??
I was also worried about it being herpes but I have never had a cold sore in my life. My tongue symptoms could be geographic tongue but would this cause other mouth symptoms? and is it just coincidence it happened at time of tonsillitis.
Im really at a loss as to what it could be?
Any ideas? My dr. doesnt seem to be concerned but its bothering me!
About a week ago I noticed that my lymph node on the right side of my neck was enlarged. In the last couple of days the other side has gotten bigger and my throat has gotten sore with a reddish rash in the very back. My tongue is whiter than normal and I am having diarrhea and fatigue. My question is could i have a yeast infection that started in my vagina and spread to my throat? Could it been in my intestines? Does it sound like an STD? I am getting worried.
I'm only 5 weeks and 2 days but I swear my boobs are already bigger? Is this possible or normal? They have been sore for about 2 weeks. Any suggestions to help with the soreness?

I took your advice and began my first therapy session yesterday with my therapist who is helping me cope with my anxieties and fears. I know this us my 2nd question and will be my last in a 6th month period. But since I am concerned about something that came up a few days ago (6 weeks 4 days post exposure) and something I have never had before. My dentist wAsnt quite sure what it was either.
I'm 38 yr old male I had unprotected oral sex with a woman of unknown std status she was the receiving party. About 4 days later I started noticing a irritated feeling in the back of my mouth, it's not unbearable and does not stop me from eating or drinking. I notice my tongue what kinda white but not like thrush, I'm told it's normal for the tongue to be white towards the back of it especially I've really never paid attention to my tongue till now.

i've been having a mild sore throat for one month ... a clicking sound when i swallow and some kind of a strawberry tongue ( small patches on the top of my tongue).
i had protected vaginal sex 5 weeks ago,and im worried i might have HIV.i am afraid the condom ruptured and i didnt notice.this sore throat is driving me to panic all the time.it's not getting healed.is it an hiv symptom ? they say yes,,,please any suggestions im going crazy !
about a week later these red bumps on the back of my tongue appeared (have to stick my tongue out to see them).
Now its april 20th and i went to the doc and showed him the bumps and he says they are "taste buds" and they get bigger as they go back. so i thought i was ok (but i didnt tell him about the vibrator incident.) i am currently taking zpak (5th day) and the sore throat is almost gone but the bumps (no pain from them) are still there.
I am just getting over a cold and during the cold I noticed an ulcer or cold sore ontop of my tongue for a few days. Now when I look under my tongue I have what looks like a peice of shin hanging down it is sore and hangs down about 1/8 of an inch. Welcome back to the Forum. The sore spot on your tongue is not syphilis-I am confident of this. It is unlikely that your partner had syphilis or, for that matter, any other STI. Further even if she did, most STIs are not transmitted through a single exposure. Most importantly however, syphilis lesions do not typically occur in less than a week after sexual contact. The average time for syphilis lesions to appear is three weeks (21 days) after a sexual encounter, not after just six days.
